Nick at Elite flooring has always been quick and responsive to any questions I had while I was getting my floors sanded and stained. Installers were prompt and clean, floors came out great!

Installed new flooring throughout our house. Nick came and measured the job site and let us know exactly how they would do it and what we should expect. The installation was done within the estimated timeframe and the head contractor came out again to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Elite flooring as a whole was great to work with and reasonably prices compared to the other quotes received. Not the cheapest quote we received but it was fair and nowhere near the top price.

As an interior designer, Elite flooring is my go to vendor for flooring and tile. They are very responsive, always available to help and extremely easy to work with. They carry the best options for my clients and I just can’t say enough.

They were the subcontractor for my GC. They didnt adequately review the job before I was sent to select tiles for the walls or floors of my bathrooms. That resulted in my choosing tiles for my shower that were the wrong size. Their installer didnt stop when he realized there was a problem with the subflooring in one of my bathrooms or the tiles for my shower and continued the job thereby eliminating the opportunity to correct. Unfortunately the GC flaked out and Elite didnt stand behind the work that was done. The tiling in my bath was supposed to be redone but once the relationship with the GC failed, they never came back and fixed the work that was done.

Elite flooring was able to start my floor within 48 hours of reaching out. The floors came out amazing and at a affordable price. I loved them so much I recommended them to my friend, and we both couldn’t be happier! I will definitely use them again, with my next project!

I purchased a new home at Hillcrest Village in Southington and Elite (hardly), were, I said “were” the flooring contractor. Absolutely the most unprofessional, unsatisfactory and poorest workmanship anyone would ever expect to see in a brand new home. From pitted planks, cracked planks, poorly secured sub-flooring and planks which lead to creaking, squeaking, popping boards throughout the entire house, and even a scratched/defective tile - and that was just the initial installation! The refinish was another nightmare ... wrong color stain, they didn’t remove the baseboard nor moulding so it was ground down flat and created grooves during the sanding process. Gaps in the boards they replaced lead to uneven surfaces of boards. They “popped” the grain and changed the stain color according to the refinishing person which I never approved of. They never addressed the creaking boards and floors.I noticed they removed the National Wood Floor Association (NWFA) and the World Flooring Association (WFA) logos and links off their website. I guess you shouldn’t use something you haven’t earned.The dozens of pictures, video, documentation and the floor itself tells the story.I would absolutely consider going to another company for your flooring needs. Do your research, check reviews and verify any credentials they claim to have.

We decided to install hardwood floors on our entire second floor to replace the carpet that had seen better days. We actually got five quotes to do the job and selected EFS as the contractor we wanted. Their pricing was excellent and Nicks presentation gave us the confidence we needed to give them the job. We made a great decision! The installers got the job done on time in 4 1/2 days and when they left the new floor was perfect. One of the best parts for us was that other than having a gorgeous new floor you would never even know they were here. Not a mark or scratch anywhere.Not only would we use EFS again for any flooring job, we wouldnt even consider anyone else! Thanks EFS!

It turns out they did me favor since the EFS price was less than the informal estimate the initial installer had given me, and the entire experience was great from beginning to end. They have a wide array of samples in their two locations, and let you bring the samples home to see how they look in your house which is very helpful. We ended up deciding on cherry hardwood floors, which were installed in my living room. They showed up right on time for the estimate and install, and the installation was very professionally done and looks amazing. Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. If I could work with them on every home improvement project I have, life would be much simpler!

Requested quote and they came out to the residence for measurements and seemed annoyed. 3 weeks later never received a quote or pricing options or follow up. Not very professional or reliable based on lack of communication on their part.
