Dropped off my car at Kia Westbank in Harvey, LA for the recall checks that were needed. The AC was working perfectly prior to service. I pick up and AC was checked off on the list as working. I thought they may have disconnected a wire but was informed after it was brought back a second time that I needed a new compressor. Spoke with manager Brian Murray and he was the most unprofessional person and needs proper training to deal with the public. Kia needs to do better training or hiring people to be in these positions. I will not return to KIa and now will not purchase in the future due to this interaction. Please be aware and avoid this service department.

I am greatly appreciative for the professionalism and friendliness of this business. My car caused all kinds of a headache for them but they handled it and always keeping me informed at every step. The service advisor Nick was great and patient even though I wasnt the easiest to deal with because I was aggravate, In all my experience was great and I will bring my car back when I need my car worked on.

They had exactly what I needed and wanted. I had to come in a few extra times than normal because they worked around my work schedule. Each visit there they treated me like Ive been a life-long customer, even more so, like family. Its a very inviting place and they pretty much can tend to every different individuals needs. As soon as I walk through the doors, someone is there to greet me and ensure that I am where I need to be. Ursula Jackson is the bomb and Harold in Finance is also awesome.

Brought my car in at 7:00am on 7/31. We were told someone would get to it that day but we had to wait. Waited 5 hours with no update. Finally the receptionist tells us they wont be able to get to our car. No updated as of writing this review 8/4/21. Called the dealership multiple times and left over 10 message with no call back or update on my vehicle. Poor customer service. We will never come back here.8/6/21- spoke with Service Manager Brian. He provided me with an update on when they will get to our vehicle.

My engine went out after having my 2015 KIA OPTIMA (pre-owned) for only 1yr and 8 months… I later found out there was a RECALL on my engine.. The dealership had no loaner cars available to accommodate me and my family. We were forced to stay home during hurricane Ida, unable to evacuate due to this situation.. They plan to hold my car for over 2 months just to diagnose it….. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!!!! You’ll regret it

Brought my 2018 Kia Soul to this location in April because my exhaust was blowing out white smoke and paid over $500 for it to be fixed. Got it back and it was still blowing out white smoke and it had trouble keeping oil in it but had no leaks. Brought it August 23rd I was told they changed out my catalytic converters and flushed my engine but it was still puffing smoke. Later found out that there is a recall on my car. I had to ride out Hurricane Ida with a 4 month old baby and 2 dogs and I still don’t have a vehicle.

I stopped by just to look.... and with no pressure whatsoever, 3 days later I leave in a new SUV that had been delivered a day earlier. I got a great value for my trade and I feel like I got a great deal on my new vehicle. Christine was fantastic both before and after the sale. She made sure that I could maneuver my way around all the buttons, even connected my phone to the car and just appreciate the check-ups on my general satisfaction with my purchase. Highly recommend Ray Brandt Kia and Christine.

I went into the dealership and took note of how clean and organized it was as they were sanitizing everything which made me feel safe and comfortable as COVID is still out here.My salesman Freddie was absolutely amazing, and knowledgeable on the car I brought which is my first car! He didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had throughout my purchasing process. Freddie also sold me with his knowledge of the car and it’s benefits compared to another brand I was looking into. I enjoyed the process and timing wasn’t extremely long.

I went because of a recall on my kia optima . The first time I went I called and made an appointment .. fast forward I went and they said they computer to scan something on the car wasn’t working so I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment for monday I believe. I went to the appointment & dropped the car off, I was told it would take 4 hours and they would call me when it’s ready. I left my car went and took a nap & HOURS PASSED.. no call .. until I finally called them, & they was about to CLOSE AND STILL HAVENT CALLED TO TELL ME MY CAR WAS READY Smh I went and picked up my car & when I was in the line in Popeyes a Indicator of service was on .. I called them back after I noticed and a man said I have to reset something on my timer in my car, but I struggled to do it so he told me I can come back & he can do it for me. Anyways fast forward, my car hasn’t been driving the same since . It’s NO REASON they should keep my car for that long because I was told all they had to do was check with the computer . My car don’t feel the way it does like before I brought it here, idk what they took or didn’t take, but I wouldn’t go here again I don’t care if the recall repair was free .

This was my first time buying a car on my own and the salesman Rory made it so easy for me. He made sure everything was reasonable and taken care of . I highly recommend if you’re looking to buy a Kia definitely go here and ask for Mr.Rory he will take care of you and not make you think twice on your decision. The car I bought two years ago from this dealership now has a completely failed engine. The car is undrivable and I still owe $12000 on it. It is 8,000 miles out of warranty. My mechanic told me he believes this dealership used a product called liquid metal in the oil reservior to patch up the car to sell it to me. My mechanic wants $4000 to rebuild the engine. Where am I going to come up with that kind of money in the middle of a pandemic? How am I going to pay for a car when it cant get me to work? I advise single ladies stay away from this dealership. Appearently the company knows that in excess of *60,000* 2018 Kia Souls have had engine failure, some with engine fires and at least one death. (MY CAR QUIT ON THE HIGHWAY AT RUSH HOUR, I have ptsd from the experience). Still they refuse to recall the vehicles.

I was in NOLA visiting from out of state - had a brand new Kia Telluride - somehow I misplaced my key fob (the next day i found it!). It was a Friday midday - I needed to get to Baton Rouge that evening - my brother who has dementia was traveling with me.....i called - you had the correct key fob for my VIN # - said if i could get the car to you by 4:00 pm you could program the fob that day. The car was locked....i called AAA....i got a wonderful tow truck driver - Nathaniel - he unlocked my car, put it on his flatbed tow truck. i went with him (had to leave my brother alone but he was okay)....i explained my 4:00 pm time requirement to Nathaniel - it was rush hour on Friday.....that wonderful man got me to your dealership by 3:45 pm. Your staff couldnt have been nicer, quicker or more efficient. I apologize for the delay in writing my review - i have been on the road. Please thank your staff for me!!!

My Kia Soul was towed to Ray Brandt Kia with a full tank of gas & mileage of 91,000 on Nov 22nd 2020 for engine to be rebuilt because of low pressure, which was still under warranty. I picked up my car on Jan 14, 2021 with a little gas left in tank & told that I need to replace my catalytic converter as well or Im still going to endure problems. Car is working now & hopefully I dont endure any major problems soon. Not pleased that it took over a month & half to get my car back & took 2 weeks after they had my car to put me in a rental in which I didnt have no transportation to get around. Bad experience from beginning to end. But its not going to stop me from doing business with Kia dealership. I still love Kia vehicles.

He delivered on his promise and the service was completed in a reasonable timeframe.This is the third vehicle I purchased from Ray Brandt Kia, one vehicle being a Mazda, and I have had all services on my vehicles performed by Ray Brandt Kia. I called the dealership two days in a row, I even left a message ( still didnt get a response ) I finally showed up to the service department to make an appointment. I had an issue with something on my car they said they had to order the part no one ever called to confirm that the part came in, or to tell me when I could come back and get my car serviced. I had to call them to see if the part came only for them to tell me yes its here and set another appointment a week after the the part came in.

The service team was kind and courteous. I had a seatbelt issue so they wouldnt let me leave with the car and provided me with a comparable rental until the parts came in and it was replaced.The wait was long but thats everywhere in this pandemic season. The waiting room was nice. There was a port with plugs and chargers so I got work done while I waited. There was also a TV and a cooler with bottled water.

I bought my car 09-28-2016; however, I was not expecting to buy a car that day. I was supposed to just be browsing the market, seeing what I could find since I am a first-time buyer. I had no guidance or idea what the process of buying a brand new car was until I met Bryant Duvernay. This salesman is such a gem; he is very personable and really made this huge life decision very easy and seamless for me. Also, the warranty that Ray Brandt Kia has is phenomenal. I have total peace of mind knowing that I am covered literally bumper to bumper. I would recommend anybody that is looking to buy a Kia (or Mazda, they sell those, too) to visit this place. Ask for Bryant, he will take good care of you.Update 10-18-2016:It has not been a month since Id bought my brand new car, yet the tire pressure sensor came on. We put more air in the tire and I went about my day. The next day, the sensor is back on. I called up Bryant, he said to bring it in and the service team at Ray Brandt took care of it. It was fixed in no time and didnt cost me anything extra. Today, I learned the true value of having tire insurance...who knew such a thing existed! Ray Brandt Kia is the absolute worst dealership. Customer service is disgusting from the techs to the clerk. They all lie and do not document anything. I would have never imagined an oil change being so complicated. They do not top off simple fluids (washer fluid) or perform standard multi-point inspections. They will lie and say they did! Myself or my husband have had to return to the dealership after every oil change for something that was not done. The only reason he returned this week was to get the free oil change he was given from the previous mishaps, and of course they tried to pretend they didnt know it was supposed to be free. Will not return to this location under any circumstances. They should consider closing for a few weeks to train all staff to properly perform their duties.

This dealership lies, jacks up your interest, (unless you know what you are doing and stop them in their tracks and they fix it), then lies again to your face. I bought my car there, but not without stopping some of the cheating and stealing, and no matter how high you go, there is not an honest one in the bunch. Then you write a review that gets deleted so they can keep their scores high. But is there a regional manager, president, owner to help? Nope. The owner will answer your review, make you feel as if you found a good person that will help...but not actually contact you. Just keep screen shotting the bad reviews for the case, before they disappear.

My experience at this dealership was not quite what I expected after having drove an hour to get there. I must say that the salesperson I was working with, Jamaal Williams, was very kind and honest. I have no complaints about him. However, during negotiation, management refused to meet my needs or negotiate fairly. Ultimately, I left the dealership and found another that was willing to negotiate fairly and meet my needs.

**BUYERS BEWARE** Ray Brandt Kia is extremely shady and will do anything to get over. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!! I found a used Rogue online and was told the price couldnt be lowered. The next day before finalizing the purchase I saw the price was reduced online. The sales lady, Ursala, acted like the price drop wasnt a big deal and still wouldnt take anything off, or even honor the new reduced price. Its insane to think Ill willingly pay a higher price than what anyone else will pay. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I know never trust a salesperson, but these guys are cutthroat, and they dont even care. Save your time and go elsewhere. Wish I could give a negative star to rate them.

The buying process of a car should not be pressured. Especially if you’re going to spend $50,000 on a new sports car. In this present economic situation you would think that the dealership would cater to customer service better. The only car that was available was a used RWD version of what I want to buy new. When asked, “Would I be able to test drive it?” The response was, “Only if your going to buy it, the only way we are gonna let people test drive vehicles right now is if they are serious buyers.” WOW! I’m not some kid. I am a professional in my career, and to be told the only way you can test drive the vehicle is if you are going to purchase it is not only ridiculous, it’s unprofessional.

I went to the Service Department at Ray Brandt Kia after the sensors on my tires indicated my tires all had different air pressures and also a warning to check both the right headlight and brake light.In less than 40 minutes, the tech had corrected the tire pressure issue, determined that a connection was loose on my headlight and the bulb was blown on the brake light.As always, I received a detailed report of everything that was done and was on my way.Ray Brandt Kia always provides courteous, professional and fast service with a smile.

I visited the dealership on 7/07/2020. The salesman who I was originally supposed to see was with a customer, so I was assigned this sweet nice lady by the name of Mrs. Ursula. I check out a 2015 kia Sorrento asking price $9600. Test drove the vehicle and found a few problems, which was understandable. But the problem come in when I made a offer for the vehicle. The used car manager was so unprofessional, he literally said if I wanted the car the price was firm and their was no negotiating. So when they come with the paper work for the total price of the vehicle;the total price had almost $2400 in taxes bringing the vehicle 2 $12007.00.So Im going threw the paperwork Im asking Mrs. Ursula was this and that. And she replyed: thats what the manager came up with. It was a $900 service charge, $1000 in TTL,and some other strange charges. Never I heard that you cant buy a car and pay your taxes somewhere else. I was told I couldnt leave the lot with the vehicle unless I paid the taxes there,I couldnt register the car somewhere else. On their website it states that doc fees are $200 but in the paperwork they handed me was for $390.So now I wanted 2 talk with the manager and his word were if Im not buying he was not talking to me. In fact he paged Mrs. Ursula and asked her to come get her customer and escort me out.

I just finished telling co-workers about the great customers service I experienced at KIA and minutes later KIA sent me request for a review. What irony.Yesterday I couldnt believe it when I looked out the window, of the dealership, and this shiny car; that looked like mine WAS MINE . It was confirmed when I saw my grandchilds car seat. Wow, what a great experience! I brought my Kia in to have a check engine light diagnosed and was met within a minute of pulling up to the service bay. Turns out I needed a part ordered so they told me exactly when it would come in. Sure enough, Tuesday morning they give me a call and I had an appointment to have my car repaired. At the appointment, I was again met as Im pulling up. My car was repaired within 30 minutes while I enjoyed a free cup of coffee and a donut. My car was still under warranty so the whole thing cost nothing. The best part? They washed my car before they brought it out to me. These guys have my business from now on, Killin it on the Westbank.

Terrible Experience.I have no idea who this individual was who took over our appointment from Christine due to a last minute emergency. Whoever it was, he lost Brandt the sale. He literally could care less from the moment he begun speaking to us and frankly, if he would have just listened to our questions instead of supplying us with nonsense that we didn’t need (or wasn’t true) we would have driven that Soul off the lot same day. Maybe because he was covering for someone else and didn’t get the commission?So let’s straighten it out here. The idea of your insistence that our previous credit inquiry submitted through the Ray Brandt site was not real and that we had to fill all the same paperwork again was garbage. The initial pull caused a dock of 2 points and we were not going to submit to a second hard pull before you could answer questions about simple costs that could have been figured out from the initial pull in your system. Then... you went to, “well, just write your first and last name on the page...” Sure, fine, we will write it down so you can search it in your system. Then... “well, now the rest of the page, too...” Were we being punk’d? Then the next thing a breath after we say no is, “now we need to take you for a test drive of a Soul.” We tell him we have driven Souls before, we aren’t interested in going further until we know what APR we are looking at. We explain that it isn’t the only dealership that we were looking at and ultimately whoever gave us the best rate was who we would work with. This is going nowhere so we ask him if we can just talk to the finance guy, we drove out specifically to look at a particular edition Soul at this dealership and we are ready to talk money.“Say man, you don’t wanna work with me?”Us, “we want to know what our interest rate will be. Period. If you can’t do that, we can leave, it’s not a problem but you’re wasting our time with all of this extra.”He walks away for 5 minutes, walks outside and writes something on his hand. Walks back in and shows it to the finance guy while muttering. When he comes back he has a paper, “here you go, this is what it will be.”It’s a sheet of paper with the price of the Soul. We looked at the price before we arrived to look at this specific Kia Soul. We drove from New Orleans to buy this particular Soul. What the hell was up with this dude?! We left, went across the expressway and concluded our business within the hour. Amazing what LISTENING and not attempting to run this sleezy, used car salesman act can do for sales. We wanted the edition at Ray Brandt but we are happy with the same year and a slightly different model from across the street. They got to business without double hard pulls. They gave us our options succinctly and without ambiguity.TLDR: Ray Brandt Kia does a pull online. They won’t tell you your APR until you come in person. Then they want to run it again. Why? To check with other lenders to see if they can find a more advantageous rate for themselves. I can’t imagine if we went further in the process with them, we didn’t get to where they tried to sell the extended warranty and sneak us into financing our gap insurance. It was like walking onto the set of a bad movie. No way.

My car was at the dealership for 5 months waiting on a replacement engine after mine seizes without reason at 56k miles (not even 6 years old). The main service person Jason was nice to deal with, but since I’ve gotten my car back I’ve had to bring it in twice because it wouldn’t start. The first was less than a month after I got it back. The technician supposedly replaced the starter fuse switch and sent me on my way (after I waited an hour for him to get back from lunch). Not even 2 months later, I’ve had to have the car towed back to the dealership for what seems to be the issue they supposedly fixed back in November. Went in for service with a radio issue. Service advisor Jason P. could have easily made this an expensive problem. Instead, he was able to fix the problem within a minute at no charge. This is typical of the GREAT service @ Ray Brandt KIA from my experience. Service appointments are much quicker than @ a Kenner dealership I could mention.

We all know car dealerships are less than truthful but when we walk in with 1 question to start things off and it is answered yes only to find out it was a no it can be hard to trust dealers. We ended up leaving on a Friday night that we were good on sale, drove the vehicle for the weekend and got a call Monday night stating the deal has to be re-evaluated. After confirming with our salesman a trade in of a truck and RV was good to sign paperwork which we did only to find out our salesman had no idea how to trade an RV. Then after getting the numbers a little bit more solidified we were kept waiting for 3 hours while the high manager; Ray Brandt himself did not approve of our deal and we walked away with nothing. The entire process was not normal which we understood but the fact of how much we were strung along was beyond ridiculous. Stay away if you want even a little of a fair deal.

Everything went well ! I told the gentleman that was helping me that the last time I was there I was missing a bolt on my tire he said he would take care of it but I even told him I would pay for it but I still didnt get one! Kind of made me mad because I didnt think I would have to ask if it was taken care of so I left and check when I got home so I guess I will have to go back when I have time to get it! Sold me a car and only changed the oil and didn’t flush the other fluids out and put new fluids in heater only works on driver side car need struts and probably some more things so I have to get it done out of pocket I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!!!
