This place is always a complete mess lately. I remember when this location used to be well organized and its just incredibly unpleasant now.

Checker had attitude.Sacked items roughly.Put Clorox with sweatshirts I had gotten.Rolled here eyes when asked to come to cart to scan.Walmart is becoming a run down store.I will do my shopping elsewhere after tonight.

Liked it better when open 24hrs. works better for us night shift people.Now its over crowded making germ spreading easier. Isles crowd with boxes to stock shelves makes getting around difficult.

Most of the employees polite & helpful, one in particular is John in electronics he is knows everything there is to know & so much more about cell phones. Any technical issues.He can probably teach technology a few things! You need any kind of assistance hes your man! He deserves a promotion TECHNOLOGY LOVES U💯⭐💯⭐💯✅✅🥰😆

Could not find some things I went to get.natures recipe dog food and several other things

Since Covid hit, this store has gone down hill!! Floors are nasty. Bathrooms are worse!! Toilets dont flush completely. Not enough employees to complete tasks. Its ridiculous!! They want new employees but for the handful of people I know that have applied not one was hired. WHY???? You obviously need the help!!

My shopping experience was great, I like the bigger isles, I like the self checkout option. There are sales, just have to look closely at prices!! I have found some great prices!!

I realize everyone is short staffed, but the shelves at this location are NEVER stocked. Weve visited other locations in our area and those stores have NEVER looked this bad. Hastings Walmart is terrible.

I dont think anyone is not going to go to a local Walmart based on a review. So Id like to make this more of a suggestion, leaving 1 star. Once I get a real response (not politically driven aka no BS) I will gladly change this review/suggestion to 5 stars. Id love to see if this even gets legitimate feedback. Sooo..Where I feel Walmart really drops the ball, is by closing at 11PM. What is the reasoning for this? Ive heard its to clean? But is that in the interest of the customers or the brand Walmart and its reputation? Because by making your customers come in the store within a much smaller time frame the store becomes much more congested and densely packed with people... so what was the customers anytime they are comfortable 24 hours is now the time is 10:50, the store closes in 10 minutes, 16 hour time frame, all in the interest of a clean public image does it take 8 hours to clean? Can we ramp up number of employees to clean during closed hours so the store can be open later and/or earlier??I hope this isnt coming off as a complaint. I am just hoping to get some good honest feedback as I am truly curious about what factors drove Walmart to force all of their customers in 1/3 less of the normal time frame. When can we expect to return to 24 hours or at least more than the current 16 hours per day?

Store always has pallets in then ilse due to the way the Walmart inventory system works and the fact they seem to be understaffed. I was able to get my groceries but was unable to try on clothes as the employee that works that department left as I approached the test fitting area. Didnt return when I rang the bell or asked for assistance. Probably over due for a break. I wont be buying clothes at this store ever. I hold a grudge for things like this.

6 items shown as in stock on the website are not available at the store. A guy in electronics was very helpful, but there were no workers anywhere in the grocery section except for two stockers who were new. Self check is not an option for me, but only one person working a register for cigarette sales. When in line with a few food items, employee tried to order me to go to self check out, but I ignored her. Some items I like were empty spaces on the shelves. The store is clean, but the way Walmart treats employees makes for high turnover. The prices generally are not lower, the quality is low like any store that only consider price. A higher quality would be wonderful but not an option at any price. We will now buy food from Masons in Minden and Kenesaw market. The Hastings Walmart is just a hassle.

Only had two self checkouts open and one line with an actually checker. Lines were long. Recommend spending your money somewhere else.

Best customer service Ive ever seen

Right now .. apparently because of staff shortages, the isles are full of pallets and you cannot get to items on the shelves which are in some cases bare and very messy. the grocery section and pharmacy section are clear - but some of the other places are not - if they cannot unload those large pallets of merchandise then leave them in the back room - blocking an isle because someone cant run the fork lift is very poor solution to the problem.

Dont exactly have everything I need when I go these days. Then there are t any employees that will kindly help you out ever!

I ordered 150 pieces of fried chicken 2 days ago to be picked up today at 11am today. I get here to pick it up and they have not even started cooking it!!! Now I have to not only wait a half hour for them to cook it but my residents lunch is now going to be 30 minutes late. All I got from the manager was I havent been here for 2 days I dont know what happened ridiculous I will not be back, I will go to russs, at least I know my order will be done when expected!!!

This store is the most accommodating store I have ever visited. The front End staff goes above and beyond to assist customers with their needs and in a timely manner! Great prices!

Definitely one of those Walmarts that babysits adults definitely not one of those Walmarts where everyone takes their job seriously.

Walmart is Walmart. Alot things are not in stock. Then main cashier is you at the self check. Go to Walmart for non food goods, because they are usually cheaper. For food goods you can usually get cheaper if you shop around.

Clean, customer service is far and in between I think the store is just to big without enough employees to make sure customers are satisfied with questions. One gal got nasty with me because she was in electronics and I had an emergency since she was with a customer I needed something out of the same area as she was with the first customer and she said wait in line I will help you when I am done. I said to save some time you can grab what I need and take it with you so when your done with this customer alls I have to do is pay. But nope she made me wait for her to walk back to the area reopen the shelf and get what I needed then lock it back up and had to walk back to her check out where she then had to go get a different one because that wasnt even the item I pointed out she didnt even ask me if I had more shopping and she was extremely rude. Not happy at all. When I called and asked for management she was the one who answered the phone and put me on hold for 15 minutes then said well their is no manager here right now. I said what I know better I know Shelby or Dave is but nope she wouldnt put them back on the phone so I hung up

Went here this morning as its the only department store in this town. Once again only two check out lines open and 4or 5 people deep and a cashier says Im welcome to use self check out. Excuse me but Im not getting paid to shop and check myself out. A person shouldnt be forced to use self check out.

Have been a bit lax in Covid safety monitoring on the recent visits I made. Normally on the ball, checking & spacing recommended. Not as on top of keeping frequent purchased items - saw some bare spaces in items that I came to Walmart specifically for. Good staff teamwork

Normal Walmart experience but recently when Ive been to other Walmart locations they spray the carts and wipe down self checkouts after every use but not Hastings Walmart. Come on employees there are people with compromised immune systems that have to shop for food, please think of others!!! The Walmart employee was just standing there not doing anything and was only in charge of 5 or 6 check-outs. I even said dont they wipe them down and the kid just ignored me. Lesson learned, bring your own disinfectant spray!!! Also Walmart employees please learn how to properly wear your mask, the mask goes over the nose, below your mouth!!! Do they really need a training class for some of these employees!!!

Its like any other walmart. Finding a person to help you find something is damn near impossible. And when you finally do find someone, they dont know if they carry that item.

Not sure why there self check outs are only excepting cards but it makes if very hard to shop at walmart anymore. Not to mention the fact they keep moving everything so you literally cant run in an get what ya need.

Same old Walmart. Dont expect anything different than others. People dont know where things are, cashiers dont know how to run a register and the store is dirty. Im sure Sam would die of he saw how wal Mart is being run today!

I can always tell when Im not in Texas anymore. The staff at this Walmart was rude, the customers are rude, and the Self-Checkout registers are disgustingly dirty. Not to mention that several drivers did not even acknowledge the stop for pedestrians signs. Those signs should read Cross at your own risk. Horrible experience!!

Good actually! They also have been great to my son who just started college in Hastings. I am able to place a order and hes able to pick up the order with ease to add ina timely manor (sometimes the day of). The store is clean, inventory is reasonable and customer service is good, on both ends.

Per usual there was only one register open and none of the staff wanted to help.

This Walmart has very friendly and helpful staff. However, if you need a ride wheelchair, be mindful of what time you come. Usually between 2 and 5pm, it is very hard to find a riding wheelchair to use. Other than that, the store is well organized, clean, and well stocked. If you need anything, you can find it here.

I will wait a few days and order from Amazon before I ever step into this store again. No customer service, always empty shelves, rude employees. Yes I know it was closing time. But, maybe if your employees took the time and asked if I was finding everything alright instead of trying to pressure me out the door I would been done shopping in time. They don’t even make eye contact. You change everything around all the time so it’s never in the same place and it takes longer to find stuff. Russ’ market has gained another customer. You know where you can stick your pathetic store.

There is less of a selection of products all the time and usually only 1 or 2 checkouts open so they have HUGE lines.

I like the delivery to the car... However they are sometimes out of my regular things. Not their fault but frustrating none the less.

For a Supercenter, Walmarts prices are getting crazy.

Overall a terribly ran store. Employees are very rude and unprofessional as well as management. They also let people walk around the store without mask. My son worked here for sometime at this very store and he got exposed to coronavirus due to a coworker and they said he should get tested and he did and they still made him come to work not knowing if he had the virus or not. Putting customers and other coworkers at risk. 10/10 would not recommend shopping here! Worst Walmart I’ve been to in the country! I hope this store can be shut down as soon as possible. Please take your services to Russ’s market or other local grocery stores.

It was very busy on Xmas Eve. But the employees were nice and very helpful.

Poorly stocked. Seems they are carrying less and less trying to push customers to online purchase. Also becoming much more expensive as compared to small town stores. Very deceptive on pricing, displaying same exact item in two different parts of the store with two different prices.

I dislike the self- checkout, because I see it as Walmart offloading store labor onto customers. Last time I was in a Walmart there was a waiting line not only for human cashiers ( my preference) but also for the self-checkouts.

Cute story that either comments on my age or todays youth. I bought some hard cider and the young lady asks for my date of birth. I give my month, day and last two digits of year. She is puzzled a moment and asks what is the full year? My head says the only options are 1800s, 1900s, or late 2000s. Cute!

Its a typical walmart supercenter, they recently redid the booze aisles so the selection has expanded which is great for the current circumstances I guess. I wish they would stop moving things around now though because there are times when it takes me a lot longer to hunt for items than it used to, and Im the type of person who likes to get in and get out 😂
