I called Hastings Garage Door Repair. They sent out Jim Hayden, Service Manager, from Superior Garage Door LLC. He came out and we agreed the work was to be done yesterday afternoon. After waiting and getting late in the day I left a message for Jim to tell me what’s up. Never got a call back. So, just before 5:00 I called again and was told the truck just pulled up and the work won’t be done until tomorrow I told the office gal to forget it and sought out another company. First I would not recommend Hastings Garage Door. Second, Jim lied to me about the time he would show up. Third, Jim did not contact me to tell me himself about inability to keep day/time. Fourth, No courtesy. Fifth, No communication. Sixth, no apologywas given

I called them to see about getting my garage door fixed. They said they did not service my town (Red Wing) I said Ok, and figured I would try to find a place closer to home. They called back about 30 seconds after I hung up and said that THEY will have someone in the area they next day, I said great, and scheduled the estimate. Guy showed up, gave me a business card.This place with 11 good ratings did not tell me that they were referring me to a guy who just does garage repair on the side. I did not realize that the person did not actually work for Hastings Garage Door Repair. Seems pretty shady to not be upfront about that.Not happy. Would not recommend this place.

Came out with a bit of a attitude fixed the door because it wasnt closing all the way but somehow broke the mechanism to open and close the door so now the opener no longer works or the switch on the wall?? We can manually do it on the opener itself if we stand on a ladder anyways the guy said 150$ and it was now broken I said why should we pay if now its broke when it wasnt when you got here and his response was 100$ I said no I wasnt paying to have him break it but to fix it so his response to this was to pack up his stuff and storm out get into his truck and leave us with a now BROKEN door??????????????????

Not a local Hastings Business this company is using a fake address the address they are using is a BAR downtown Hastings when they showed up we asked how long they have been in Hastings and they said they were from the cities unlike their site says EVEN THE REVIEW are fake isnt it funny that all the reviews were made in the same month? USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, They wouldnt even send someone out to fix the mess caused by one of their techs that broke it guy came out broke door then tried to charge us 150$ I said no its still broke his only response was 100$ I said if you cant fix it we are not paying so he packed up his stuff and stormed out of our house and left us with a now broken opened and wall switch which wasnt broken when they got here not even a call from a manager we used RF Garage Door llc out of Welch they fixed the problem caused by this company for free took 2 min What a scam these guys have going BEWAREThis is the business at that addressFireside Social House106 2nd St E, Hastings, MN 55033
