Ive been going to Dr Banks office for about 27 years. I totally trust my eyes to him! He always takes the time he needs to get a proper diagnosis and prescription for my eyes! He has seen me on an emergency basis several times, without delay! he has the most caring staff of any doctors office Ive ever been in! I trust my eyes to the care of Dr Banks!

I had a great experience at Banks Eye Care. All staff members were incredibly kind and my appointment was on time. The team made sure I understood every part of the visit so that I was comfortable. I also appreciated that Dr. Banks took time to get to know me before providing care. They had great COVID-19 safety precautions and I felt very safe at my visit.

Dr. Banks is a very kind, considerate, knowledgeable Doctor who treats you with respect and provides quality care.His staff of four women are very professional and are a great help to the patients; particularly when picking out glasses. Typically a light hearted atmosphere there, you are guaranteed to leave with smile.I would highly recommend Dr. Banks Eye Care.

My husband, late mother, and I have been patients of Dr. Banks for many years and have always been treated with superb care and expertise only found in a few rare doctors offices! Dr. Banks and his amazing staff are always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, caring and treat all of their patients like close family! Just picked up my new glasses and can now see like a young girl!

Recently moved to the area. Banks was recommended by family, so I made an appointment. Easygoing and friendly professionals. Just what a newcomer needed. My existing prescription was close to what I needed so they did not recommend a change. How refreshing.I did mention that I sit at a computer a lot. My progressive lens required that I sit in one position to do my work. Very tiring. Their response was let us show you what glasses designed for sitting at a computer can do. What a wonderful idea. Instead of squinting and struggling to see my work, I now relax and see so much better. Simply stated. I love my computer glasses!! You might as well.

I have been going to Banks since I was in preschool, and now Im in college. He is the most friendly and professional doctor Ive ever been to, and doesnt charge two arms and a kidney. I have since moved about an hour and a half to the west, and have tried a few others, but I always go back to Dr. Banks. I truly feel safe putting my eye health in his hands.

I live out of town and was working in the area and had an eye issue. I stopped in and the staff helped me! The staff was amazing, kind and concerned about my issue. They helped me see again. Thank you!!!

I would never come here again. The lady that took me back into my room today was so incredibly rude and not friendly at all with me. She talked to me like I was a 5 year old and snapped at me for not answering her question correctly (which was an answer she didnt need to begin with). The actual doctor was okay. I feel like he didnt really take the time to exam my eyes though.

GREAT experience -- great doctor, fantastic staff, wonderful atmosphere. I was given all the time I needed and not rushed through, and I feel great about Banks Eye Care taking care of my eyes.

This is an exceptional eye care center. The principal is an outstanding optometrist and each member of his staff brings top flight skills and an eager to succeed attitude to the team. Test equipment is state of the art and the team members are expert in its use. This team partners with White Eye Associates in Greenville which is a cutting edge partnership of five ophthalmologists who come to Banks Eye Care in Havelock to see patients and to perform required surgery in Morehead City and in New Bern where the partnership owns state of the art surgery centers. Therefore, at Banks Eye Care Center you can have your eyes tested and receive, or be referred for, any treatment that may be required. Youll feel like Will Rogers here in that youll never meet a person you dont like.

I will never go back to this place. I realized that this doctor is not interested in helping his patient, he is only interested in the money, he made it very clear to me, they also discriminate against people who have Medicaid Tube, a very unpleasant experience
