These folks drove out to Central MA earlier this year to install 2 ductless AC Units. I was impressed with their work that I decided to use them to maintain the heating system I inherited from the prior home owner. Tony C and Shawn S are 2 names that stand out. Great folks, down to earth and not pushy. I would refer Climate Zone to friends and family.UPDATEThey could not troubleshoot or repair the heating system. They wanted to push me into purchasing an entire new system. I requested a quote and they never call me back. Its too bad as I was looking forward to having this company service both the heating and cooling for my duration in this house. If you live close to their office maybe it will be better.

I had 8am appointment on 10/25/21; Your technician never came, and when I called the office they attempted to deny I had that appointment, continued to give excuses that they are short staffed and they have other jobs to do. When I asked the lady what time they can come, she couldnt give a time nor guarantee someone will show up. I will remind you again as I did in our phone conversation, you are not dealing with a teenager and try to treat me like elementary school... Your company doesnt respect customers time.. what is the purpose of booking appointments that you cant keep? And yes, because of your unprofessionalism and lack of commitment, I called your contract company Home Depot and reported your incompetence. I will pay more to a professional and committed company. It reaches a point in time that professionalism and commitment matter more than just cheap price. No customer deserves to be treated that way, and certainly I will not put my money where am disrespected as a customer.

My AC wasn’t working, the man who came to help me was Tony. Tony was outstanding. He was professional, personable, was informative and educated. He knew all the answers to all the questions I had. Climate Zone will be coming back to my house and I am going to request Tony as my technician.

They kept rescheduling, never showed, stayed home 3 days waiting for them to show up. Had them last year and was very happy. Wont make that mistake again. We may need a new boiler so we dont want to wait till cold weather sets in.

Tony visited me for a regular maintenance and helped me figure out a problem of one of my units. He found an issue and I got an estimate immediately. He left my house about an hour ago and I am waiting for a phone call from the office to schedule a repair. He was very professional and friendly. I had many questions about my system and he answered all of them kindly. He also put some notes in the system so that another service tech could take care of it the future. In the past, I also had Jeremy. He was also very professional and friendly, too. My experience with both Jeremy and Toby was great.

Outside AC unit went out on day where temperatures hit 96 degree. Inside our house it was 85. We called several companies and Climate Zone was the only company who could get someone out tonight. Alex showed up and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He explained all the details in a professional and courteous manner and what would be needed for follow up. I’d definitely call Climate Zone again (especially considering I felt it worthwhile to sign a contract for heating/cooling) and I’d hope to have Alex be our tech.

I had an emergency need of repair to my ac system on a very hot day and Lori was able to shuffle things around to send me Tech Alex that day! Alex showed up dressed professionally, and spoke to me in a professional manner. He took the time to diagnose the problems i was having, and, in language I could understand. He did this without being condescending, and explaining how he would fix them. He then set about in a methodical manner, checking all possibilities. What really impressed me however, was that he called Jason, who did a problem solver here last year, and is now his boss, to confirm his diagnoses. This saved me money as some techs from a previous company guessed at the previous problem I had, and they had to return 3 more times AND 3 more charges. Alex showed me a level of professionalism and humility, while going the extra mile to completely repair, and then test, my system to assure me that it will work after he goes on to his next appointment! I have been using climate zone over the past 2 years for hot water heater installation, problems with condensate pump, installation of new control panel and thermostats. All the HVAC technicians and the office staff scheduling the service have been professional and attentive to my needs. The service is guaranteed. Climate zone has a reasonable service agreement also for maintenance of AC and heating with discount on future service needs and priority scheduling.

We had Climate Zone come out and clean our Mitsubishi Mr Slim units. The technician was Jeremy and he was very professional and explained each step of the process. He noticed that one of the units was showing signs of mold due to the condensation build up, he actually showed me so Id take his word, he recommended a deep clean. He said he had the time so I tod him to go for it. His manager Dave was with him and the two of them took their time and got the unit looking like brand new.I highly recommend Climate Zone and their technician Jeremy.

We called climate zone to do a service on our AC unit. They came out, said everything looked good but we should consider replacing a capacitor. We did. A week later our ceiling is leaking... we called them back out. The same technician then finds the “worse case scenario”... “a $10-16k job” - where we are told that our emergency switch is broken and they didn’t know why, our safety pans are all cracked, and nothing was pulling through the PVC. They said we were going to have to replace the whole system and that the emergency switch wouldn’t normally be checked during a routine maintenance (false). We happen to know someone who can knows enough to be dangerous regarding an HVAC system, so we called him for a second opinion. He came and said the safety switch was in fact NOT broken, it was stuck to the bottom pan which he fixed and that the Primary valve wasn’t being used (the secondary was) - ALL of which would have been caught during a normal maintenance... the fix was simple enough he could do it.. for $20 worth of materials...nothing was in fact wrong with the system (other than it was set-up wrong - which back to my main point, why wasn’t that found???).Also I dont have the company wrong. We found Climate Zone through Home Depot. I don’t share the last name of the owner of the house.

The tech never gave me an invoice for the services. Also, he quoted an igniter for my gas furnace at 273 USD!! They are 19.99 at eBay? So just wondering which ones they carry and from where. He had to splice the igniter to fit in our furnace. Also., the technician was rudely on the phone with someone in Marlboro talking about dinner which I found unprofessional.

Literally, these guys just left my house and Donnie and his crew were awesome. They had a bit of a tricky setup with how the electric comes into my house, but they made it work, it was professional, it was fast and they helped me set everything up on my app. The ductless units are incredible and the work they did outside looks awesome...really well done. Tech named Tony came to tune-up and inspect our ancient a/c system and give us options to update it. He really went above and beyond what we expected. Very thorough and very knowledgeable, and very nice and polite and friendly, and very respectful of our house and property. I dont know if it is possible to ask for a tech by name, but if you can, maybe try asking for him.

Im rewriting this review because on the previous one (which was a lot more critical), they were not calling the correct phone number. The number is vexing because they called me on the correct number to setup the appointment, but then once it was scheduled, they were using an old number (probably on file from previous work). Suggest that scheduling dept. updates the records so that numbers are consistent across groups.So the lateness was due to that. When we sorted out the correct number, the communication on when the HVAC technicians would arrive was much improved.The two techs (Jeremy and Angel) were able to identify multiple issues and address them. On day one, they at least got the A/C functioning while waiting on a part. On day two, they fixed the faulty part but still noticed that it wasnt draining as expected so they had to dig through some nasty amounts of cellulose insulation to find the problem with with the drain pipe and they did.The verified that it was working and all is well. With that said, the repair set me back more than I was expecting and this $129 fee that doesnt apply towards the repair. Its just to get on the schedule. So in my mind, I felt I paid $129 for ???. Personally, Id prefer to be just be billed for labor/parts.Worth noting that they installed the unit over 10 years ago (in a very tight attic space) and it has been working fantastic that whole time. So great install.

Tony and Zack were super quick and friendly and fixed the problem with our water heater quickly, and pointed out how we can prevent the problem in future. They were everything we needed and didnt waste any time.

Our AC coils in the blower were freezing up badly within a few hours of being on. Using some high quality HVAC test instruments, he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. Turns out it was neglect from previous home owners (bought the house a year ago and replaced the filter and cleaned what we could see). There was a blanket of dust on the inside coils of the return vent (which you cant see). Overall the process was easy to schedule, called us as they are getting to your house, and a friendly tech Jason was nice to work with.

Tony was a great service technician when it came to repairing my hot water heater. Through no fault of his own, nor Climate Zone, the hot water heater installed had a faulty Gas Valve that needed to be swapped out. While it was under warranty through Rheem, Raheem’s customer service was lacking and Tony persistently waited on hold for over two hours in hopes of having the situation resolved. After stressing my need for hot water due to having a young child, Tony was diligent in working with his colleagues to ensure a resolution could be made today. Tony and his colleagues searched far and wide to find an available part and came back right away to swap it out. I cannot thank Tony and the staff at Climate Zone enough.

I had previously had Climate Zone install a Mitsubishi split A/C system in the 1st floor of my home 5 years ago and love the system. At the time I didnt have enough wall space to install it on the second floor but since then Mitsubishi came out with ceiling cassettes that are put up into the ceiling. Andy sent out his A team to install it and I am thrilled with the finished product. A special shout out to Dave, Greg, Dennis and John for doing such a great job ... I really appreciate it !!!

Alex was helpful. But, the issue has not been resolved in a timely manner. Not sure if staffing is the issue or supply chain disruptions are to blame. We felt pressured to give a review, the company rep mentioned an internal contest for technicians. While he was positive in nature, I am not sure he is fully qualified to do the assessment. We shall see what happens in a few weeks when the leak inspection team comes out.

Alex provided service on 2 occasions. His first visit earlier this summer was to troubleshoot one unit that was not pumping out cold air. Alex took the time to diagnose different potential sources of the problem, also consulting with tech support. Rather than simply suggesting a replacement of the defective valve, he spent considerable time cleaning and adjusting the original equipment. This was more than sufficient to insure that the unit was cooling as well as it did before the deficiency appeared. I especially appreciated that Alex spent time explaining what he was doing and why. In addition, on a proactive basis he ordered another valve so that in the event that the fix was not permanent, he would have the replacement part with him on the truck for his 2nd service visit.The actual service call today was equally satisfying and customer-focused.In summary, my 2 experiences with Alex were a pleasure. Topnotch HVAC company who looks out for the customer. Our 2nd floor central air has not been in working order since last Summer. We had 3 different high rated HVAC companies come out and all 3 said we need to replace the entire 2nd floor system which would include walls coming out and construction - the quote was very expensive (and that was without the construction and electrical costs) so we couldnt fix it.This Summer, we decided to use Climate Zone as we received a flyer in the mail and our usual HVAC company couldnt come to do maintenance on floors 1 and 3 for a month. Climate Zone came within a week.While Alex was finishing up the maintenance, he asked what happened to the 2nd floor. We explained it was leaking and we got 3 different quotes that said it wasnt reparable and need to be totally replaced. He said he could come back if we wanted (since he was scheduled to go to his next job) and he would try a simple flushing of the system as he suspected thats why it was leaking. He was right!!! Alex, you saved us a ton of money and just in time for this unit to work on the hottest day of this Summer. Wish we knew you and Climate Zone last Summer. 2 man who lie about my AC needing all sort of repairs and parts. They charged me $250.00. A friend came over, within 45 minutes my AC was working and he charged me nothing.
