I have been a customer of Glen’s for nearly 20 years now. He is extremely professional and highly competent in all makes and models. Just as important to me is that he is honest and trustworthy. He is like having a class A mechanic for a brother. As I said previously, he has been maintaining my cars and my kids cars for many years and I highly recommend him. At Christmas time my wife bakes over 4000 cookies for family and friends around the country. Glen gets 2 boxes every year! That’s how much we appreciate how he cares for our cars and us.

Great service I’m from out of town Glen Diagnosed the problem change the thermostat and the car works great and I’m in 120° Outwest when I’m back in Hawthorne I will have all my work done by Glenn plus he’s a nice guy.

I discovered Pilkington Auto and the owner/mechanic, Glenn, 3 years ago when I moved to Hawthorne. Hes the best. My car is a hybrid so I was on the lookout for a mechanic with good recommendations that could work on tricky engines and I found that in Glenn. I took my car in today and 4 hours later it was done at an extremely reasonable price. On my way to get the car, I was estimating what Lexus would have charged for the same service and was again delighted with the professionalism and quality of Pilkington Autos work. I will never take my car anywhere else. I also asked Glenns opinion on how much longer the car will last since it is 12 years old and he assured me I have a long way to go before it needs replacing. Whew.

Glen has been fixing my cars for 15 years now and there is no other mechanic I trust more. He has always been super kind, honest and has done impeccable work. Highly recommend!

I don’t know what this guy Larry is talking about. He couldn’t be more wrong about the quality, knowledge and reliability that Glenn offers. I have taken my 1969 Camaro to him numerous time for an honest assessment of my car. He offers a vast knowledge of classic cars and has ALWAYS treated me with respect and fairness. As a matter of fact we have developed a friendship. Of particular note is the mechanic that has done all of the work on my car. His name is George and he is worth his weight in gold. Anyone who reads this should notice that all reviews except one are positive. Don’t let one incorrect review sway you from giving Glenn a chance. You’ll see for yourself.

The worst experience ever I took my car there it is a 1971 Chevy Camaro. It was overheating he fixed the overheating by completely disabling the car it doesnt start .He had it for 3 monthsI paid him over $6000 .I still cant enjoy my car.every time I took it back to him he wants to charge me more money for something else. And then he is also ridiculously overpriced.Thats not problem I was willing to pay him everything he asked for but at least he could fix my car. He is a scam he will try to get you for all you got for nothing. NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Drove a friend there

Brought my Vette ZR1 in for Oil Change, ABS and Airbag Lights on and removal of a rear speaker enclosure. Kept car 3 weeks!, spilled battery acid on a fender, chipped hood, did the oil change and kept the speaker enclosure and charged me $1200 + the value of the Speaker Enclosure -- all other problems NOT fixed. Brought Vette to another shop and got the car back the next day ALL fixed for 1/3 the price! Avoid Pilkington!
