New to LA and started the dreaded shopping to fill an entire apartment. With uncertain times, I didnt want to spend 1000s of dollars on just the bed since I am the type of person who likes to pack light meaning if i leave, I leave everything. I went to several mattress stores and some I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman where the salesmen didnt seem interested in helping me. OR another where by the time the math was done, the 600 mattress became a couple of thousand with all the add ons...Cut to going into this Mattress Firm location. Michael T is AWESOME and an ASSET to this company for sure. He was kind and patient, despite pulling down each little twin lie on/try on mattress for me to check out since some of the budget friendly mattresses are not really on display. and WHAT A DEAL! He made me feel special but I am pretty sure he does that for everyone who walks in! I got my new bed a few days later but then realized my mattress didnt feel just right. BTW you get 120 DAYS to decide. (I only waited a week!) I did read online u need to break a mattress in BUT I started thinking about those big plushy pillow tops and decided maybe I should have treated myself a little better. So I went back to see what my options were. Michael didnt try to do a pushy upsell at all or have any push back on a return. He even said I could probably get another slightly more pillow top at same price just different brand. In the end, he let me do my own upgrade and still gave me yet another fabulous deal with no issues on the return and a great smile and attitude all the while. Also his associate was friendly and those hard working delivery guys were awesome too. Both times. First the first time in FOREVER, I have pulled my very expensive featherbed off and now just sleeping on the mattress as is. I rarely write reviews but I am SO SO HAPPY with this DREAMY CUSHY MATTRESS, THE PRICE and the amazing CUSTOMER SERVICE this Oceangate Hawthorne CA location has to offer. Chris at Mattress firm is one of the best sales agents ever. You can tell he really cares about the customers and he walked us through the beds and had us try multiple before we settled on our Serta hybrid. With each bed he told us the benefits of the bed, the materials, information about the designers. He was so thorough and informative. We ultimately purchased a Serta hybrid plush the same day. The installers who came the next week to set up the bed and take away the old one were efficient and quick. I am so happy with my bed, my only problemis hardly want to get out of it! Will definitely use Mattress Firm again :)

I’d like to start with saying Sonia is amazing. Choosing a mattress is not easy. However, Sonia make sure that I got a mattress I wanted at a price that was in my budget. Over the course of a week she was checking in and making sure to keep me informed in the process. After visiting several stores in the area (Mattress row?), we ended up at Mattress Firm Oceangate Commerce Center. Much better prices, but crazy better service. If you can, get a guy named Mike Strand to help you. He knows everything, respects your time and your budget, and will get you the best possible deal in the world. Really had a great experience thanks to Mike!

Ordered online and had no issues. Ended up not loving the height of the box springs and replaced both that I bought with no hassle free of charge. Slept on the mattress for almost 120 days and didn’t like it. In-store manager swapped me with a new one without issue and was on my way. Great delivery and a company that stands behind their marketing! Will use again!

I wanted a new mattress for a while, however with COVID-19 I put it on hold. But my old mattress was given me back pain. So I decided to look for a new mattress. I found this place on google and went the same day. Sonya helped me out. I was really indecisive between mattress sizes since my room is smaller. Once I selected the size That fit better in my room. She then helped me decide which mattress I would like. And it took a little bit. When I say I’m really indecisive I mean it. I kept bouncing back and forth between the mattresses. We bought great mattresses, within our price range. We were so pleased with the service, we decided to purchase our pillows from them as well. All sales people should take a class from them.

Fabulous service and knowledgeable! After two weeks of run around with another company trying to get details about compatibility of an adjustable bed frame with our bed I found out delivery would take 4-6 weeks. I found MattressFirm on the Tempurpedic website so I called and Mike was able to answer my questions immediately and was super helpful and nice. And, delivery would only take one day! Highly recommend.
