3 deliveries of damaged stone. Delayed our remodel. Stone Etc. told me there was no more un-damaged stone available, so I called Ceasar Stone directly who told me there was plenty available. I had to call Stone Etc almost everyday several times a day to make sure there were going to deliver on time and still got stood up on a friday afternoon. After all of that the installation was imperfect and left a huge mess. I spent countless hours doing all of this.... $150 discount on a $3k job .... not cool. I would avoid.
I have never been treated so unprofessionally and poorly as I have when I have interacted with the associates at Stone Etc. Not only did they go against their own guarantee install date, they made no apologies for their own error. The customer service is completely unacceptable. They do not communicate to their paid clients and make the process of getting kitchen countertops simply miserable.
I knew what color tone and material I wanted for my kitchen countertop, but was having trouble finding it. A friend had used Gilmans Kitchen and Bath in San Mateo, so I thought I would check them out. They have a great selection and I finally chose Cambria Quartz in Rosalyn. I worked with Cynthia. She was hands on from start to finish. I brought in my cabinet sample and backsplash tiles so we could get a feel for what would compliment these. After my cabinets were installed, Stone Etc. came out and took very thorough measurements and created an exact template. It was very interesting watching that process. It took a couple of weeks for the counter to be delivered. The installers did a great job. They sealed the two pieces together and you cannot see the seam. Cynthia was there to oversee both the measurements and the install. I love my kitchen and the countertop is the highlight. I would highly recommend Gilmans and Stone Etc. for the job and I will definitely use them in the future. The quality and workmanship of the counter is exceptional and well worth the price. I could not be more pleased.
