Great service! Show up right on time for their appointment, and was able to have the job completed within the hour. No BS around prices or we quoted this, but the job was actually that, I paid exactly what I was quoted, and yet got a nicer opener and the job was done quicker. Our previous opener was installed by them back in 1998! So between a little bit of luck, and the amazing install job they do heres to hoping this one also last 23 years!

I dealt with the Hayward office of R&S garage doors. My experience was exemplary. Everyone there from Dave our sales person to Kristne in the office and of course the Edgar who installed our door all were polite, efficient and professional. R&S and Dave Kennedy are the best. Theyve been servicing our old garage door for years and truly extended its life. Finally, we decided to replace it. Dave explained our choices clearly and made it easy to make a decision. The new Carriage House Door was just installed this week and its beautiful. They did a great job on the installation, getting around the built in cabinets ins our garage. And the Liftmaster garage door opener choice with its bright light, battery backup for times of power outages, and mobile phone app are a delight. My garge door was on its last leg, got a great deal from Dave at R&S who came out himself to take a look. There was a delay from the manufacturer to get the door here but they kept me informed bout the status of when it would arrive. The technician Chris came out to install it and he did a great job! I had a broken spring that needed to be replaced. After finding R & S’ listing, I spoke with Christine who was very personable and helpful. She immediately understood the issue and was able to provide me with a quote over the phone. R & S also offers FREE repair estimates if needed.Although my appointment was scheduled two days out, was able to have repair done a day early when another appointment cancelled. Residential department service technician Chris was right on time and replaced both garage door springs within a half hour or so. I have been a customer of R&S Erection for close to 40 years. I have always had prompt, courteous service. It is a pleasire to know that my gate and garage openers they service are 100% supported. Once I called them because my gate would not close, it was a rainy day and I was leaving for a trip the next day. Within 1 hour the technician came and fixed the problem. They are good people and they do good work. I cannot expect more from any company.

I have used R&S Erection for my garage door opener repairs and replacement in the past, so when it came time to replace my old broken opener with a new one, I again called them and they came out in a timely manner and replaced it with a nice new one and took the time to show me about programming the wall unit, since this was my first programmable one.

I called R&S first thing in the morning with my car stuck in the garage. I talked to Kristine and she was able to get me a technician out to my house first thing in the morning to help me. Chris who was my technician was able to tell what was going on with my garage door. I had a broken spring. After talking with Chris and going over my options, I decided go with two new springs and 30 mins later I was back up and running. My experience is always one of being taken care of. This has been my experience each time Ive called and/or used R&S services.

The church in Hayward hired R&S Erection to install a new gate and fence and repair the old gate. The reason we select them is because of an expert they have called Gene who show a lot of knowledge on these type of gates. The church awarded their contract in Sept 2016, and Gene who suppose to supervise the project disappeared and was replaced by Nick Trinedad, new to the company with little experience in the business. The job that was supposed to finish in 5 weeks according to Nick lasted for a year, with excuses of not enough people to work on your job, the company is not hiring people to take care of the business, etc. That a side, the attitude Of Nick was not professional, the way he lies to show excuses for the delay of work day in and day out was disgusting. The worst part is after we almost finished the job they send us a bill for $2500 for the drawings they have made at the beginning of the job, that is a year later, they said they subcontracted their employee Gene to make the drawings, it was extortion and bad execution of the entire job. Never ever will hire them to do any work again.
