Maddy (not sure of the spelling) was amazing and did all the work to make our drinks and bagels while we were there! There were several customers and calls and no one helped her even when it appeared she asked for help. Hope she is very appreciated because she was a star and continued to make all the food, take orders, talk to waiting customers and make drinks while her coworkers laughed and talked in the back room. Can’t commend her enough for pushing through and being so kind even when she seemed slightly frustrated that no one was helping. I felt frustrated for her! Overall she did an awesome job and I really wanted to leave a review to tell her she was appreciated because she was basically the only good thing about the experience.

Bagel Co makes great bagels, wonderful homemade soups, and great coffee. The staff is friendly and the owners are wonderful.

Bagel Co has exceptional bagels and today was different. No garlic chive cream cheese was added to our capitol cheddar bagel. Adding this deliciously moist cream cheese will ensure I can bang again without it going into my mouth dry.

Maddy and the crew down on Last Chance Gulch are wonderful! Every time I come in Maddy know exactly what I want (my usual jalapeño cheddar with regular or cheddar with jalapeño cream cheese depending on what they got) she’s always super friendly and enjoy coming in to see her bright smiling face! Keep up the good work girl!!

The food is great but the person behind the counter was extremely rude. Just stood leaning against the counter and had no desire to help. Seemed annoyed at answering questions about their product.

I have always liked the Bagel Co. This time we used it as rehearsal space for a nursing home tour with my kid string Ensemble- The Treble Makers. The families were able to have a nice breakfast. We then played a couple of pieces to warm up then headed off to share our gift of music at 3 nursing homes. It is a great place to enjoy breakfast and friends.

We received special service and the bagel was superb.

I can say that the product in this store is very good. My comment is based on what I witnessed when I was in the store and how a Manager belittled his employee in front of the public. I was very uncomfortable with what the individual did and said during my order being processed. All the other patrons were as well. I was told by the worker that was belittled that the manager figure wasnt even that. This individual apparently was friends with the owner and had authority to treat people poorly. I called the owner as I was given his name and number at the time. He never called me back and that was the last time I was ever there. It wouldnt surprise me that individual still works their and I simply didnt have the heart to support someone that would allow that to happen in their business. Like I said it was a good food product though. They do have great bagels and breakfast foods.

Really great place to eat. Cant have enough jalapeno cheddar breakfast bagel sandwiches! Bummer they were out of spinach this morning but still was delicious! Highly recommend anyone try here! Dont think of pancakes or donuts, give this place a try!

Great bagels. We absolutely love the bagels. Just make sure to check your order if you do an online order. They missed our cream cheese and I didnt notice until I was back at the office. Lesson learned.

The food is great. This is my favorite place in helena, I’m a broke college kid but I still find a way to get food here. I recommend the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on cheddar bagel! The only negative is that the prices are a little steep.

Good coffee, quality bagels, sandwiches are ok. Quaint coffee and bagel shop on Last Chance Gulch near Great Northern Center. Bagels made fresh. Service was nice if not a little slow. Sandwiches good, plenty of choices, but not fantastic flavor. Good meeting spot to have coffee and a bagel.

Bagel Co. is always a reliable place for a latte, bagel, sandwich and a conversation. If youre looking for something hearty I highly recommend a bacon, egg and cheese on cheddar. If youre looking for something a little lighter I always recommend their vanilla cream cheese on the cranberry orange bagel. They usually assume you want your order to go which can be annoying when you dont want to waste paper. But, even if sometimes the staff can seem like theyre in a bad mood they never translate that to the customer and always accommodate.My favorite spot for an $8 coffee and meal combo by a landslide.

The bagels here are top shelf! Plus, the breakfast sandwiches here will blow away any of the other quick eats or fast food places around. Sausage egg & cheese on a cheddar bagel is my go to!

This is the best bagel place Ive been to in a while. The bagels are on the smaller side but other than that everything checks out. Plus they have more variety than other bagel shops which was appreciated. The people that work here are very nice.

For almost 2 years straight I stop in daily at the one down town and I honestly LOVE the coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and the wonderful staff that work there. I dont care how busy they are, they always give great customer service and are always are very pleasant. I am a person who works in the corporate world and it is a rush rush go go kind of job where people really dont take the time to say have a great day, so I really appreciate the personable service and wonderfully positive way they make my day start off. High five to everyone at the Bagel Company down town YOU ALL ROCK and I want to say Thank You!

I had not had lunch here in almost ten years. I stopped and had a great Bagel and the service was just as good. However...I do not believe the dining room and been update in the ten years I was gone. Or cleaned for that matter. This can ruin the dining experience and it did. Part of what you pay for is the dining room experience and this was bad. I have never seen carpet that over time sort of turned into linoleum. I love this place but not sure I can do it again.

Was recommended by a friend to have breakfast here while I was in town for business. For someone whos from the east coast and used to New York water bagels, The Bagel Company was actually pretty good. I ended up getting a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel on a plain bagel with a hot chocolate. I highly recommended stopping in and eating here!

I visit the Bagel Company on Last Chance Gulch almost daily and it is not for convenience, that I go there. Me and my coworkers hands down feel that they have the best breakfast sandwiches in town as well as delicious coffee!!!!! Then to top it off, they have wonderful people working in there :-) I dont care what side of the bed a person wakes up on you can not go in there and leave without a smile on your face. The owner and everyone there are so personable and they truly make you feel welcomed!!! You can have it your way there :-) toasted, not toasted, hot coffee or hotter coffee, extra this or that, you name it and they truly try to provide what will make the customer happy!!! It is a must to try if you are from out of town or even better if you live in town because you can return !!!

This is the best place to get real bagels in Helena. They make them on-site of course, so theyre always fresh. Its a good place for lunch or even just a cup of coffee.

Ordered a bagel with egg and cheese. Egg was cooked in microwave and in my opinion a fake egg. Coffee took about an hour to cool down enough to drink. Still ate everything. Tables were dirty.

Excellent coffee, excellent bagels, excellent owners. The Early Bird special (before 7:30 am) gets you a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee for about the cost of just the bagel. There is a second location on the east side, on 11th, near the mall. But I lived behind the Last Chance location for many years. It was like my second living room.

This place has been a family favorite since I was a kid. But every time I go in there now the employees are HORRIBLE. One guy gave me the worst attitude and another girl rolled her eyes the entire time I was trying to order. Staff is horrible, food is great!

Ive only tried the jalapeño cheddar bagel and its so good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Decent coffee as well and I will be coming back when Im in town however I am extremely skeptical of this lox cream cheese. Im 98% sure the orange chunks in it are carrots. Seems pretty scketchy.

The bagels are the best Ive ever tasted, with an appetizing crisp on the outside, tender on the inside texture. The coffee is also excellent, because the beans are roasted on the premises.

The staff tries pretty hard to make sure you are served quickly. The bagel quality varies quite a bit from day to day. Its a bit disorganized and if you are picky about people handling your food without gloves then this is not the place to visit.

Good place to score a brown sack of bagels before pedaling up out of town. Line to order is kind of wonky. People order then kinda mill around clogging the place up. Kinda got to be assertive and push your way to the front.

Had an egg, bacon and cheese on a sun dried tomato bagel. Sounds amazing, and I think it would have been (the tastes were great together) but the disgusting powder-like eggs ruined it. I wont be getting a sandwich with eggs there again. Hey Bagel co - take Hubs lead and microwave real eggs in a little microwave-a-single-egg thingy.
