Disappointed. Asked for 2 FROZEN lemonade get 2 we didnt even ASK for and they where iced. Food and gravy where cold. Sad how people rate this place amazing I had the worst experience and wont be back. Pound of sugar at the bottom of the cup too. Seems like the lady didnt want to work today. Mouth off saying she sees the people behind us. Wow talk about great customer service NOT. Barely had any meat. Ill never be back and I would definitely not recommend to anyone to stop here.
I am very disappointed. I spent 52.00 here and ordered the meat and cabbage rollsbfor make family dinner. I received all of the rolls with just pure potatoes in it. Potatoes yes thats it I am Very disappointed. I definitely would not recommend. They need to work on honesty. Not just stuff rolls with potatoes and not tell you. There are no stars for this business.
Traditional pasty hard to beat, and its a lot of food
Barista didn’t know what an iced drink was. Asked for an iced mocha, had to repeat my request 5 times but she still didn’t understand what I was asking for and I got a warm glass of water (melted ice) and milk with a little coffee. Had to pour half of it out and ask for more ice. Also, a pasty should have potato, rutabaga, onion, garlic, and beef: mine was potato and beef and more dough on the inside. I know that to locals this is probably amazing stuff but if you are traveling, avoid at all costs. Copperline: here is how you make an iced mocha, latte, etc: pour the espresso into the cold milk. Put ice in a separate glass. Shake the espresso/milk mixture back and forth between the glasses like you would a martini shaker. Pour that mixture into a glass. That is an iced drink.
Didnt have any pasty left when we went, which was understandable because we were there later. They had kielbasa in pastry dough. It was unbaked or under-baked. Very gooey and pale when it should have been flaky and golden. Just gross and disappointing.
The perfect snack for the car before hitting the mountains or trails. And we got an extra one this morning since they had an older batch that was needing to go. Best place for a quick stop!
A favorite lunch spot in Helena! The breakfast pasty is really yum.
Copperline Pastys are always a special treat! We get the regular, with injected gravy, and gravy on the side!
This is only a coffee review. I order 4 frapps and only got flavored milk. I asked for two shots in two of the drinks and single shots in the other two. Very disappointed. Is there a confusion of shots v pumps?
I was passing through Helena and wanted a quick cheap bite that was still Yummy and something local. The Copperline Pasty Company was just what I wanted! I got the Pasty Dogs which are Polish hot dogs with cheddar cheese wrapped in a Pasty with a side of Ketchup and Mustard. It costs $5.50. The truck was really cute that they serve out of and they have a seating area outside but it had been raining so I had to eat in my car. All in all def worth stopping to support a local business rather than all the chains in the area!
Food is better looking than most of the photos. Breakfast bacon version is great and will keep you full til your next meal. Outdoor seating not fancy but also not busy, nice meal in sun or shade.
Cool trailer, Great Coffee, Friendly Service....Bend-over-backwards for you type of service. How many places do you see making homemade pasties?! Next to none. They will make a custom pasty if you have food preferences and/or allergies.Call 72 hours ahead. Love the seasonal decorative candies placed atop the coffee cup too😘
I and my family have loved this place, since it opened. I had never had such a good pasty, until I actually went to Cornwall! They were authentic and delicious! Whenever we have gone out of town, it has been the first place we have wanted to eat, upon our return. And so, in November, it was the first place my daughter wanted to take her new husband, on his first visit to town. It was a huge disappointment! We were handed 4 wet bags of gravy! They were largely meatless and tasteless...but anyone can have a bad day...so, of course I have been back. Two more times. I am sad to say the delicious pasty has not come back. No more bags of gravy, but precious little meat, and DICED potatoes, instead of the authentic sliced...and the taste is bland. One order was actually cold in the middle! I am very sad to leave a bad review. I miss the pasty! I have tried the others, and they just don’t measure up to what Copperline was in the past. They haven’t been good since June 2019. Don’t know what happened.
Do yourself a favour. Grab a traditional pasty for lunch. Two thumbs up from a couple of hungry Aussies.
Great place very polite
Copperline is a wonderful little shop and the staff is absolutely amazing and very friendly. The food is prepared daily and orders are delivered very fast! The white bean espresso they have is the only place in Helena that carries it. 3x the amount of caffeine and a nutty flavor! So tasty!
Always so good! Can eat a huge pasty and not feel awful afterwards like day food :)
Wow wow. Wow. I called for an order of pasty’s for my staff. They had them done in super fast order and are delicious!!!! Highly recommend Tara and her staff for all your delights. Food and beverages. 😃👍. Outstanding
They were out of almost everything. And my pasty was dry and old.
The only coffee shop with white espresso in town! Its always hard to find outside of Washington so we were excited that at least one coffee stand had it. They made a great drink. While white coffee was all we came for, they had a large coffee menu and pasty selection. You could drive thru, or park and sit in one of their outdoor areas.
Do not order via the website. The pasties were $2/each more and they charged a $3.95 fee to pay online. I got to Copperline to pickup my order and they had no idea I placed it. Did not have what I ordered either. Terrible customer service in these times!
The manager is so rude and seems to not know how to do her job. They are always out of everything! I am surprised those poor workers haven’t quit yet!! New manager defiantly needed! Only reason I have two stars is for those amazing girls working there(: keep it up sorry your manager is terrible
I drove WAY out of my way to eat at this place because of the great reviews I heard. It was suppose to close at 8 PM. I got there at 7:37 PM on a FRIDAY and it was closed! I will not try to go again :(
Wonderful coffee (white espresso is amazing) and great pasties. I love the cheeseburger pasty injected with gravy. Mmm.
These are the best pasties! The crust is superb! Great service, and cute atmosphere. Really, the best pasties!
Love their coffees and chai. Friendly service and great prices. The pasties are soooooo yummy too!!!!
Quick service and delicious pasties and coffee!
Best pasties in town hands down. Really nice and friendly staff. I go there all the time and havent had any bad experiences.
What a great little spot! The food was tasty and freshly made. It was so good! Well be back!
The staff were great; the pasty crust was the best Ive ever had but inside it was all sliced potatoes. There was maybe 2 tablespoons of meat in this medium pasty that was $7 (with gravy). Kind of expensive for a cup of sliced potatoes. Ive never had a pasty before with so little meat.
I have been told I must try the pasty here by someone who told me about the history of pasties and miners lifestyle. This is the second place I had a pasty (first being in a well respected gas station in the country side in Montana) and I must agree, it was delicious and must try for all visitors. Dont be fooled by the mobile-looking setup of the Copperline Pasty Company.
Only place in Helena with white coffee and you get friendly fast service to boot!
Excellent food at a very fair and reasonable price!!
Slow and disorganized.
Great place to get your fill of pasties
The barista came off with an attitude when I asked her to fix my drink that she didnt add enough syrup to. She said next time to ask for extra flavoring ahead of time, which is a joke because the Italian soda she tried giving me the first time was all soda water, you couldnt even taste flavoring, you could barley even taste the cream.
Needs friendlier staff and more options in pasties. Other than that its good.
The sausage breakfast pasty was good, but if they were to offer country gravy with the breakfast pasties they would be great.
Personally I find the staff friendly and helpful and the bacon breakfast pasty is wonderful!
The drinks are awesome. The employees are fantastically awesome, and super friendly
Great spot
Absolutely hate This place and feel horrible for the workers who get treated horribly there. Food is very distasteful and inedible. Heard rumors of stuff in the food and how no one wears gloves while cooking. Only time I’ve gone there is to see friends who work there. Not to diss on the owners because I have heard they are great people but this place is not so great
Very good pasties, very good coffee. Plus free cinnamon bear with each coffee, cant beat that!
Best pasty and best coffee....hands down!!!!
Super friendly service, best pasty choices, amazing coffee, and super reasonable prices!
Nice friendly staff, great food
Great Selection, Wonderful Coffee and Friendly Baristas!
Copper line is always absolutely delicious!
Great traditional pasty I’ll be back
Tara and crew are awesome! Best coffee in town!!
Fantastic food, quick and affordable. My favorite place to eat
Best caramel lattes in town!
Ive seen where they prepare their food. No thanks.
Ordered two drinks, neither were made correct. Coffee was burnt, I gave it back and asked for the worker to fix it. Was asked to pull around, then he waited on the costumer behind me before fixing mine. When he came out his words were sorry if you dont like it, thats just how we make it. I will not be back.
Best pasty in Helena !! They make your mouth water !!
Good pastys
Best pasty in town!
Great little place
