The staff at the Helena location are friendly and helpful. Thats not why Im writing this.I bought a recliner from big lots. I purchased a warranty for recliner. Two months after I bought the recliner, the plastic level broke that reclines unit. I called the number on the warranty card. Big lots wanted pictures. So I sent them several. Big lots told me they wouldnt replace recliner, because of excessive damage. In the warranty information they say this is 9ne of the things covered. Cheap junk furniture, I would never buy again from big lots. They lost a customer for life

This was my first shopping at Big Lots since moving back to Helena. I had forgotten what a fun experience it could be for a discount chain. The staff we very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Big variety from furniture to food to electronics in this smallish (compared to its huge rival just across the parking lot)

The people that work here are nice and helpful. The store could use some color, banners, decorations or something. It seems kinda sparse and a little gloomy. It wouldnt take much effort to visually cheer this place up. The prices are good and they have some pretty crazy sales events.

Not really much of a store and what I saw was either cheaply made or very expensive.

Claustrophobic, messy with very few of any size of anything EVER that a human would think to place on their body as clothes or footwear......aaaaarrrrghh! I feel like I am having a seizure, just imagining the chaos in that place..... That said, I receve adequate asssistance and respectful courtesy every time I go there.

I literally havent seen friendlier people in most stores, let alone big lots. The guy working furniture was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable- Im sorry I didnt catch his name. April was so friendly she actually got me to sign up for the rewards card, ( I never do that)..... Go in and visit them for nothing less than a friendly experience. My only semi negative thing is that not all merchandise is price marked.... Other than that, Ill be back!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The woman helping us looked in several places for the item but came up empty handed. We later found what we were looking for in another area of the store.The store is rearranged fairly often and causes some confusion when looking for specific items

There is nothing wrong with this place, but for some reason it always gives me the heebie-jeebies. They never seem to have exactly what you need. The employees are always very nice and polite.

A fun store to browse around. They have a nice variety of household items, food, holiday, personal products etc. All at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and helpful

The aisles seemed small and hard to turn your shopping cart around; or if there was another person with shopping cart in the same aisle one of you would have to back out in order to pass. Are all Big Lots like this? IDK.

The Store Manager is a world class nothing the worst customer service ever and not a care in the world about making a sale!!! I would suggest finding a new store manager before you lose even more customers we wont be back!!

They have some unique things for Christmas gifts. Really neat different gift sets and things like that. Good deal on a lot of stuff. Fun place to shop. I went in last time thinking I didnt need a cart and ended up having to get one anyway because I kept finding fun things to buy.

They have these really tasty fruit jerky sticks. They are cheap and really good. They have good sales also! I enjoy going here when I am on this side of town!

Bought our couch from them it was back ordered until Feb, they called it came in early!!! We had it a week before Christmas!!!!!

Everyone is so friendly and GW is an awesome manager as well as the other managers. The rewards for members is appreciated. I have shopped Big Lots when they were known as Pic n Save many years ago. Love that store so glad they are in Helena

Good prices in most things. Fun place to go for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers because they have all kinds of fun gift packs. Live that they sell some grocery items and always have good clearance stuff.

Some good bargains. Kind of a glorified Dollar store. Have had to return several items this last couple of weeks due to quality. Watch f9r the good buys on paper products and cleaning supplies

Great customer service! Katie in furniture was great; however, someone else decided to take the headboard that was marked for me and sell it to someone else. So now I have to wait for another headboard to come in. I have a very low tolerance for people that pull that crap, and they should receive disciplinary action.
