I respect Walmart ever since CEO Lee Scott said he was coming for my smartphone wallet back in…2002. Doesn’t make me want to go inside one. This neighbourhood one is just great, though. It gets crowded after work and weekends, but not at night. This one just nails what I want to buy.

Not sure the carts were sanitized. The store was relatively empty. The shelves were scarce for some things. We made it through the self serve cashier fairly quickly.There rarely is any customer service but I guess that is what you get for the discounted prices.

I really enjoy this store. They are busy during the obvious busy hours b I think they have quite a few self check out lanes where you can scan the items yourself and pay in the line and if y I u need help bagging or bringing it out to your car there is always an associate right there to help. I really like there system.

I had no idea what happened. I just got here. But it seemd like they were abusing their female employee. I was terrfied and decided to leave.

This is one of the friendliest stores Ive ever dealt with. The employees such as Lynn, go out of their way to help you. Its such a pleasure shopping at this store! The pharmacy is great too!

I always enjoy shopping this location. The store is well maintained, shelved stocked (within reason) and employees are eager to help as u pass them. I especially like the abundance of self checkout lanes. This location has received Walmart’s screen update, which has a more convenient user face in my opinion.This is my “go to” if I’m close by. 👍👍🇺🇸😁

This location had everything in stock. Other Wal Marts in the vicinity are usually out of the products we usually buy. This store is set up very nicely with a good bit of choices.

More employees on the floor picking items for people who arent even here than at the registers for those standing in line. If you want to check out quick, go to Publix.

My home base for pharmacy needs. The staff is wonderful and will help you find things. Grocery Store is good and I prefer their meat over Publixs. But I still go to Publix and buy BO GO.

Polite online order people. Never have to wait no more than 5-6 minutes after parking in online pick up spot to receive online order.

Horrible at stocking shelves, I’ve purchased cold food that has spoiled bc they put it back on the shelf after someone either put it somewhere it wasn’t supposed to be or just sitting in the wrong area too long, meats and other foods out of date! I shopped here bc it was closer but I won’t be shopping here anymore!

Ive never been able to get everything on my list here. They are horrible at stocking the shelves. They will have things in stock but not actually put them out on the shelves for weeks. They leave food items that are over a month past the expiration date on the shelves.Edit: changed from one star to three. Stocking has improved slightly. The main reason for the bump, however, is the friendliness of the cashiers.Second edit: back down to two stars. The stockers are terrible. See my pics of the milk cooler for an examole of how bad they are.

Incredibly slow pick up service. Way too few people running it. People wait over an hour for their pick up. Too few pick up parking spaces. People get their groceries before who’ve waited longer. It’s a horrible place to shop. I’d drive to another Walmart before coming here again.

Alway clean, well organized and friendly staff.One of the only Walmart stores that the associates actually say hello and ask if your finding everything you need.And yes, they will take you to the item requested not just half hearted blurt out isle 3 like i should be expected to know where everything is located.Great management team also.

People are always so nice to me when I go to this Walmart which just happens to be down the road from where I live they deliver great service even though they dont have to.

This is the 3rd Walmart store I went to in this area and all were out of the item I wanted. No one seemed willing or able to help me.

Had to get birthday cake and balloons for one of my granddaughters. Everyone said it was very delicious!

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST STORE IN SHELBY COUNTY I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Watch out for mask karen lady! She stands at the front all day and if you give her the proper greeting of the day she says MASK! No such thing as southern hospitality in that store. Publix right across the street is awesome and everyone is very polite there if you need groceries!

Great, much better than the super center! If need to make a quick trip at Walmart prices without the Walmart lines. Stop here.

Im so aggravated that they keep moving items to different locations. Having to hunt for an item at Wal-Mart made me go to publix! I get my groceries at publix now & oh buy the way take your self check out and stick-IT!!

I like Walmart Neighborhood Market. Always good prices. Good variety and selections. Associates are friendly and helpful. My go to for everyday groceries.

I always prefer this place over Walmart any day, hand down the best!

This Neighborhood Wal-Mart is always clean and well-stocked. Ive noticed that on busy days there are normally three or four cashiers working and several self-checkout lanes open as well. Everyone I have interacted with here is friendly and helpful. This is definitely my favorite grocery store.

Theyve got what you need and its closer to home. Hard to complain.

It doesnt have everything i want or need but it is conveniently close and friendly service.Fair prices and usually fast and speedy checkouts. Id choose this over a crowded regular walmart any day.

WORST to shop the produce section is awful mostly everything expired are about to expire. I was searching for some fresh lettuce, spring salads, ice burg lettuce and all was expired and some even rotting.

The Walmart Neighborhood Market is a fantastic concept compared to the Super Walmart. The size is manageable and selection vast. The team members are eager to assist if needed. Great prices on items for the home. Outstanding customer service while shopping or at checkout. I personally like to utilize self checkout. Parking lot has more than ample spaces. It can be challenging to exit parking lot if youre turning left depending on the time of day (peak traffic times).

I go there because close to home the items I looking for are usually out of stock.Some of of employees are very helpful while some don’t want to stop doing there job.l go to check out lucky to see a cashier they want you to do self check out which I don’t like. There is always long wait to check out by cashier. I was at another Walmart and did self checkout l didn’t realize I missed a 17 dollar pack of batteries I got to car realized it putting groceries in went back and paid for them lucky I wasn’t stopped when I went out I was having trouble with self check out I kept asking for help the employee would shout across the area instead of helping me l guess I just got distracted I would Not purposely steal,if I could inline with cashier would not happen but what cashiers there were was three to a lane.This was before the epidemic some price low but rather have the customer service.

Oh my MarketPlace next door. It is only 5 miles from my home which makes it amazing. But the best part to me is the Pharmacy. They call me when it is time to refill. They let me know when I get out of refills. Always friendly and courteous. The grocery store is great too but to me a grocery store is a grocrey store. I dont get excited about them.

This store is better stocked and organized than most. Its evident the workers here take pride in their store too. The employees ste even helpful! Im impressed with this one. Hope it remains this way. Would be 5 stars if it has a little more variety in the non food items. Either way, great job Helena Neighborhood Walmart! Thank you!

Messy and aisles were crowded with stock and shockers. I refuse to shop when you must fight workers.

What happened to this store? The stocking of the shelves is a disaster. Things they used to stock are no longer available, because they dont pay attention to whats gone. There are pallets of stuff in the isles not even put out.....

....normal Wal-Mart strategy and behavior. Nothing different here.

I love this Walmart. All the employees are so friendly. Granted there are a lot of things they dont have, but they are just a small Walmart. You can always get in and out quickly. The pharmacy employees ROCK!

Almost every time I go in there I swear I wont go back. The store is clean, I can usually find what Im looking for. Now the downside which aggravates me so bad Im now convinced it is worth the drive to shop where they actually have cashiers. Yesterday, which was a Friday, I ran in with 3 kids to pick up a few things. Mission accomplished. Then I started looking for a lane that was opened with a cashier. Found one with the light on but a lane closed sign on the conveyor. 3 cashiers, I know them by sight, were walking around up front and standing talking. What they were not doing was ringing up customers. I HAVE A JOB. I DO NOT WONT TO GO TO THE STORE AND DO SOMEONE ELSES JOB. It was quite a feat trying to scan and bag my groceries and keep a 2 year old from climbing out of the buggy. If you are trying to go to 100% self check out, congratulations, you just lost my business. People love to tell me how Amazon is putting box stores out of business but let me tell you when I can order what I want and have it delivered to my front door with no delivery fee, well I dont need you.

Items easy to find in the store and fast self checkout

I’m giving 4 stars because I have mixed feelings about this store. I’ll start with the bad first, since I’m an optimist, lol. One thing I really dislike about this store is how understocked it is. Every time I come to the Helena Walmart, they’re either extremely low or completely out of a few things that I want. I understand supply and demand can be a bit challenging at times, but this happens so often. I also really miss this store being open later. That was very convenient when I needed something late during the night. However, this store’s employees are very friendly. They are usually very eager to help when there’s a technical difficulty with the self check-out. They also make sure they speak, smile, and wish you a good day when you leave; and it even sounds genuine. It makes me feel welcome and I appreciate it. I also like how convenient the location is, especially since I live less than a mile from this store. :)

It was almost closing time.only a few people.I helped an elderly lady get something from top shelf.ended up in line behind her so while my friend was putting his things up i stepped up to help cashier.I bagged her groceries and then i carried them out to her car.I realize it was late and if my mom was shopping that late i would like to know someone was kind enough to help her.she offered to pay me and I told her no thank you.she was in her 70s said she was married 50 something years so I enjoyed our conversation.

Always needs more registers

In my opinion, one of the cleaner neighborhood markets.

Had exactly what I was in search of! Not a single walmart nor neighborhood walmart had swai fillets. Ive come here every time since for swai in particular and theyve been in stock!

Quick for groceries. Its close everything is where you expect to be able to find it fast!

Love the quick and easy shopping here..You dont see the 5 million things that you dont need. Has all that I need minus the clothes, shoes, technology and toys.

Always a good place to run in and get a snack or just random shopping. Good prices, nice staff, and easily accessible location.

I was visiting from Atlanta and stopped in to pick up a few things and noticed the prices were actually higher in this Walmart than they were by me. As in, significantly enough that I didn’t get all that I needed because I wasn’t going to pay such a high price for certain items. Still get 2 stars because it was clean and organized and location is convenient.

Employees are great but they never have a register open it is always and only self check outs. Prices are also much higher on items than the walmart supercenter but other than that, overall great location and the employees are very very nice.

This place its always clean, open, and the staff is good. (Unlike many of the same stores in the surrounding areas, this one will NOT leave you feeling like you want to erase the last hour of your life. This is the best Neighborhood Market, by far, that Ive visited)

There are exactly 2 places to get groceries in Helena, and this is one of them. Definitely cheaper prices than you would find at Publix but expect that youre going to get a lower quality when it comes to produce. Also, the parking lot for some reason is nearly impossible to get out of.

Its very dirty! They just dont stock the items I need. The other day I got a substitute item after requesting no substitutions. This location started out so nice, clean and new with clerks who ///u to stock items upon request. Dont even bother requesting anything theyll just waste your time and insult your l(l by retracing all your steps while coming back with the same conclusion only to . that apparently they dont carry what+

I guess it was restocking day. The fresh vegetables section had been picked over pretty good. Limited selection. Should have gone to Publix.

They are very nice if you are a customer. If you work for them, it is all together different. It is almost impossible to get your break and meals on time without begging!!! They could care less if you stand at the register for 2, 3, 4, 5+ hours without a break. It depends on business. It has nothing to do about you, at all. You are a number and are expected to be there, sick or not. Yes, it doesn’t matter whether you spread infection, as long as you work your shift. Aches...let me spread my germs!!! It is about points and if you exceed them, you are gone! End of discussion

Its just groceries mainly. The building is getting pretty run down and the checker seemed out of it. Probably one of the worst Ive been to.
