Dropped in for quick pickup of packing tape and moving boxes.... Besides their good variety of boxes, couldnt find extra heavy duty medium size box but did find the packing tape I was looking for.

BUYER BEWARE.I had a truck reserved for over a month. Had to spend over 3 hrs fighting for my truck here yesterday. I had already paid the $3,000 for it and they still put me through this nightmare.If you are moving one way out of New York be prepared for a fight. They do not want to rent you a truck because so many people are leaving the city they want all local moves so they get the truck back at their location.After fighting for 3 hrs and calling corporate a dozen times the front desk guy finally rented me the vehicle I had already paid for.Ended up leaving without the 12 sets of blankets I ordered because the employee promised me he already loaded them in the truck. Now I’m moving everything I own without any moving blankets. Total disgrace to what I thought was a reputable company.Go somewhere else, fast.BUYER BEWARE.

This location has our U-boxes & refuses to answer their phone to schedule delivery of our boxes. We have been promised that we would receive a call from them to schedule delivery for the past 3 days & have heard nothing. We are sleeping on the floor in our empty apartment because all of our furniture & belongings are trapped in U-boxes that we have no access to. Why have a phone number if you never answer it?

This place sucks. Horrible customer service and when you call literally nobody picks up the phone. Was on hold for 57 minutes before I hung up in disgust.

Always good service. Never had an issue with equipment in years of rentals.

If I could give zero stars, I would. You cant reach the store at all and only end up speaking with the main uhaul reservation line. I made a reservation on 6/11 and needed a trailer hitch. They werent able to honor the installation date and I was told to try for another date. That date was today. I called all weekend and no answer or ability to confirm if the items were in stock for an installation. Why cant you answer a phone? My reservations were also changed for equipment where I would end up going to three different places for a move. I will never use uhaul again.

U haul is terrible, sent me to 3 different locations to pick up my RESERVED car trailer in NY, added2.5 hours to my out of state trip.

Staff was friendly and helpful, the even apologize for the wait.

Very nice staff, easy returns. Pleasantly surprised! Hooked up the trailer to our truck and made certain everything was good. New online ordering was a breeze.

Store is unorganized and not clean! No one answers the phone and they forget to check in u boxes delay your move and do not take accountability. Call center people are unhelpful and do not answer questions. My items are lost and I can not get in touch with anyone!

I decided to rent a van to move my belongings. The prices are very affordable, there seems to be a uhaul every where so it was pretty convenient as well. They also open up early which made packing up and getting things done fast and efficient I will use them again.

Great service, honest and reliable. They are a bit understaffed which is fine if you call ahead or reserve ahead. Have been there a few times and there were a number of people ahead and these transaction are not very quick so each customer can take a few minutes.

The staff explained things well, easy to work with, & very agreeable. I would go here again for any of my moving needs.

Insanely long line (15+ people) with two people working and one of those people flirting out front for 35 minutes. Took 45 minutes for the one person to get through the line, this being first thing in the morning.Returning the truck was a much better experience, but still fairly slow for just dropping off the truck.

Local moving company if I need there services.

Head manager got me out of the office as fast as anyone on the island and truck was clean and well maintained but got charged twice for the truck and got the safemove added. Spent 5 min on hold and then got hung up when calling uhaul help.

Deal with anyone other than Diego and its at your own risk. Delayed my move even though I made pre pay and arrangements with Uhaul website. Ended up paying an extra 100.00 to the movers for over time 1hr that was equal to the time they spent in Uhaul trying to get them to release the truck rental.

Very slow.. got one person working and its like taking 20 minutes per person. Not to mention the guy working just step outside and has not come back yet.. its been 10 minutes. Someone can just steal stuff.Now I been here 30 minutes just waiting to return the truck. The owner really needs to address this

No good I bought the box to pack tv. To send to my country was really big the nex day I try to return they dont accept I loose my 20 dollars

Last minute i needed to change my return trip to one way and was unable too. I was forced to make a return trip since this dealer owned this equipment and was not allowing one way rentals.I also rented 12 moving blankets and never opened or used them. I asked for a credit for the blankets since they werent used I was denied a credit. reason I took them out of the store.Dont use uhaul EVER - especially hempstead.

24 hours rental maximum time make no sense, 3 reservation for 3 days nooo

They gave us a truck that had poor head lights, no lights on the dash board. The truck also was drifting to one side of the rd after 30mph. This we didnt realize of course until the truck was all packed and on the Highway.
