I have a fleet of commercial trucks and always try to have needed work done at Mid Tenn Tire & Auto. They have always been accommodating with reasonable turnaround times and can handle most repairs that crop up along with general maintenance. We have been taking our trucks there for years now and can tell you we haven’t had any problems. In fact there was only one situation that arose and I’m not certain that it was workmanship error, however when I mentioned it to them they stepped forward and made it right. To me that confirmed they are in business to stay in business and it’s nice to know there are service repair shops that have the consumers best interest at heart. If there were 10 stars to give I wouldn’t hesitate hanging 10 on this business. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences here, however, they used to have an extremely helpful person there who is not anymore. His name was John, or Josh or something. Anyway, he made the place even better than it is. Sure do miss that guy!

I had one very positive experience with this establishment previously and thought that this is where I would be taking business from that point on. Their very own website offers coupons on oil changes. We called in advance and they (understandably) said they dont take appointments for oil changes, however bring the car in early, as in when they open, and theyd be able to get it in and out. When we showed up with two cars however, we were told we should drop them off (7:30 am) and expect to pick them up around three. That wasnt possible, so we said we cant but could we maybe schedule a time to do it next week since we had been told to come early. Both men at the counter had already begun hemming and hawing about having taken in everything they could handle this day on the day before. then with much of an attitude said We DONT make appointments for that. At this point both individuals were being rude. I understand being busy and dont expect to be waited on hand and foot and given priority, but I will not be made to feel I am an inconvenience when I am attempting to be a customer, and will be taking my business elsewhere. Yes, we were going in just for oil changes this day, but *had* planned on bringing both cars back within the next two weeks for more expensive work. Do not offer services and coupons for those services that you do not intend to provide. I am giving two stars instead of one only because of my one previous decent experience.

Took my truck in for a transmission fluid leak. Derrick quoted me a price, guaranteed to have it done by the end of the day, and promised to call if he found anything different. Out of 5 shops, he was the most honest on price and work needing to be complete. The work was completed on time (actually 2 hours sooner) using the proper parts for the quoted price. Will be doing more business here!P.S. his oil change price is cheaper than Wal-Mart.

Top notch, best mechanics ever! I work in the car sales industry and began using Mid Tenn because the company I work for used them for our vehicles. I have had nothing but great service from them both personally and professionally. I also recommend them to my customers who have always told me theyve had great experiences as well.

Mid Tenn Automotive was recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned that my subaru needed the AC fixed. They repaired it in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.A few weeks later I had to bring the car back for a different issue and again they were thorough and despite an unexpected problem they worked it out until the car was good to go. I will recommend them to friends for sure.

This is by far the number one place in Hendersonville to get work done on your car! The employees are very kind and helpful! Their work is impeccable and they have great customer service. They also have super cute dogs in the front office! I will defiantly be back!

We needed new front tires on an suv. They were able to work us into the schedule first thing Monday morning and had everything completed in a little over 1 hr. They were extremely courteous and got me back on the road quickly. The only negative is that they charged $30 more than what was quoted on the phone. Im still happy with the service, just wish I had known the real price up front.

I wish I lived next to this shop. I stopped by driving through with what I thought was a huge issue. Derrick and joe hooked it up. These guys had me and my family on the road within 2 hours. Kudos to yall I feel like Ive made friends for life. I felt at home here and feel comfortable with these guys. TERRIBLE! I scheduled a morning apt to have my brakes done. I told them my truck was a dually on the phone. After sitting for two hours they disassembled my truck and told me it was going to be twice as expensive because I had a dually. I asked why they didnt tell me that when I made the apt, they had no answer. Then they said they had to replace my rotors because they were grooved and it would damage their machine. ALL ROTORS GET GROOVED WITH NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. They told me the rotors would be $105 each. I looked up the part from the part store next door and it was $49.99. I asked if I could provide the parts due to the 110% mark up and the owner said, no thats how I make my money. As my truck sat there through the late afternoon the manager told me they could not finish my truck that day because they only had one technician. So I had to stay in a hotel for a night. The next morning. I picked it up and went on a delivery to southern Georgia. I smelt and saw brake fliud coming out of my drivers side rear break. I took the truck back the next week when i returned early in the afternoon and the manager checked it out and said yup, thats break fluid. He told me that they could not look at it as they were too busy and I would have to come back the following morning. After a second night in a hotel I returned at 730. This time the manager told me that it was not brake fluid, it was oil from my differential. He then told me that I would have to wait until 2 pm to get the part and that they would have charge me for the repair. I asked if the leaking axle seal was from them damaging it while taking out my axle the first time, because it wss not leaking before. He said probably and then told me I should gave paid more the first time for new seals. With that I went to my truck and typed this review before leaving. Please dont waist your time and money with this shop.

I dropped my daughters car off for an oil change. I went to pick it up and kept smelling smoke. The check engine came on and wasnt on before. My husband opened the hood and oil was all over the motor. They supposedly changed the oil but failed to put the oil cap back on. Ok,yeah my husband took the car back and all they did was apologize and spray the motor off. I will never take any of my other vehicles there again!! When you walk in the older guy is always so dry, like its a hassle for him to get up and come the front desk.

I take all of my cars here and they do a great job, dont try to upsell me. If I have a problem afterwards, which is very rare, they take care of me and make it right ASAP and do not charge me!

Got my car radio replaced through an Aeverex warranty. After they replaced it, I was told my amp had blown and I began getting an error message on my radio, as well as my bluetooth not working anymore.When I called them back to try to get them to check their work, I was told matter-of-factly that they had done their job correctly, and they would not be honoring any sort of warranty on their labor. After I was told not to get an attitude, I was done dealing with them.I took my car to Street Sounds on Gallatin Pike in Inglewood. They did a free diagnostic on my car, and when they went to fix it, realized that there were two plugs that Mid Tenn Tire had neglected to plug up when they replaced the radio. After plugging those two cords back in, the error message disappeared, and my car is working good as new!I would not recommend Mid Tenn Tire. Not only do they lack customer service skills, but they are cocky (unrightfully so) and do shoddy work.
