Was told that my income wasn’t enough to get approved for the car I wanted, so I add a co-signer on for more income. Then I was told it was denied for approval. Not sure how that happened because one place they use for financing I have been approved for on two different car sites. The whole experience was professional at all with being told the credit app didn’t transmit everything through. I know not to try Hertz anymore.

This is one of the best places to buy a used car. Michelle went out of her way to get me into the car I wanted. Mike and Rita we amazing as well. I didnt have great credit and I still got in a car. They treat you like family. Like you really matter. They listen to what you want and need. Go here, you will have an amazing experience, cause you wont find it anywhere else!

We bought a car here over two months ago and traded my car in. They still never sent the check to the bank to pay my old car off. So we are stuck now paying both car payments since the new one has come due. We also still have not received the license plate for the car we purchased. They are quick to take your money but dont follow through on their end. I do not recommend going here for a car. This is absolutely rediculous.

They really arent that knowledgeable about the vehicles and want you to pick buy and leave. My car is amazing but Ive been trying to remove the warranty for 6 months now when it should have taken 2. Always say theyll call back but do not. Just hope you leave with no problems and its a okay car place. Honestly though I would go to wholesale inc. Instead if they have what u want there.

Good deal, fair service, but they botched our car tags and never sent them. We were told theyd be coming FX ground but we never got them. They never applied for them. Then when we tried to get another temporary tag that claimed they were out and would have to be mailed to us. How does a place that sales cars run out of temporary car tags? Im really disappointed in their after sales service. CarMax is a far superior service experience.

I purchased two SUVs here recently and the experience was great. They still are available to help with things like technology etc. after the sale. I test drove one car I loved, but it had a lot of road noise. They put two new tires on it and that was the fix. The GPS card was also missing, but they are getting a new one for me.

Absolutely the best experience. We called after test driving 4 others of the same vehicles since 10am. We were exhausted and ready to throw in the towel for the day. However, My finance made me call Hertz Rivergate but this time I had such a direct but polite attitude after feeling like my whole day was a waste of time everywhere else. I spoke to Todd. Told him what I wanted from his website. And that I wanted no time wasted and to be out the door today with my car. Both Bo, and Todd did everything possible to ensure I could get the care my fiancé and I really wanted. The car was pulled up ready for us to test drive when we got there. Todd and Bo worked promptly to move the deal along pending our approval. We apologized for being forward in advance but simply had no more time to waste. Fast and simple. No wheel and deal. No fluff. We sealed the deal and was out in no time. Should have started there first this morning. Thank you Bo, Todd, and Carol for our new family SUV.

I would NEVER recommend Hertz Car Sales to anybody! Me and my fiancé got a car here in March, since we’ve gotten the car we have had problems with it and have sent it to the shop MULTIPLE times to have it fixed, the first 3 times were told they could not find the problem. This was through whatever mechanic hertz was using. Finally last night the rear end of the car was popping and felt lose so paid $300 to have it fixed & it is still popping this has been going on since 2 weeks after we left the lot with the car. I have asked for corporates number and been ignored. We were returning the car within the first week we had it because we were not satisfied but they talked us into keeping it saying it’s a reliable vehicle it’ll fix our credit on and on they went. None of which was true. DO NOT GO TO HERTZ, take your business else where to a much better dealership

I wouldnt consider this place for a purchasing a car. They sold my boyfriend a car with a broken compressor and freeon. No ac is now the verdict for 99 degree weather. They literally arent trying to help and let me tell you, he has only had the car for 3 months. Also the part needed can only be fixed by a chevy dealer...so this location knew fully what they were doing. If you want a broken car....sure buy from this place.

Bait & switch on me. called to check availability & it was a yes & i told the sells man it takes me almost an hour to get there. arrived & he said it was sold yesterday. he had an whole hour to call me & stop my waited drive instead he immediately starting pushing other cars. there was only about 50 cars so not knowing it was sold was a lame statement. will never go there again.

I just recently had a rental from this Hertz and when I picked the car up my experience was amazing. My daughter had a major car accident and they were very concerned, helpful, and professional. The gentleman there that I dealt with was the same one I had dealt with on two other experiences within the previous 90 days. He informed me that his last day was that day and that the manager I was used to dealing with had left. I NEVER had any issues. I was very sad because they were amazing. I still left with the rental and was optimistic about the new staff still believing that I would be treated the same as I always had been treated. So I return the car today and I entered the building and I always bring back the vehicles I rent in very clean condition but today I apologized because I did not get to vacuum the front floor mats due to my father passing just two days previous and expected just nice professional people like I had always dealt with and that is certainly not what I got. The gentleman went outside and looked at the car like they always do and then got out and ran to the back of the building where this other guy came up and he looked at the vehicle....I was puzzled. I then walked towards the door and he (without introducing hisself) slung the door open and said....you smoked in the car....I was shocked!! I replied...i do not smoke and that is not accurate...i followed him to the car and he opens the door and runs his hand over the dust at the bottom of the door and then points to some debris in the floor and says...those are ashes. I again said I DO NOT SMOKE...AND THEN HE ACCUSES ME OF SPRAYING SOMETHING IN THE CAR AND I REPLIED...ITS MY PERFUME...I was on my way to my fathers funeral. He said VERY RUDELY Im charging you $300 and I was appalled. I immediately stopped the charge through my bank. I had never had problems at this location till this day. He then said I will bill you and put it on your credit...still never introducing himself and there was absolutely no professionalism. Between being a very rude angry man, tossing the mouse at his computer, and the accusations I was DONE!! I asked for something in writing which he refused to provide. Bottom line...I do not recommend this car rental location to ANYONE!! Take pictures of the car if you do go there because that manager and staff will cheat you and charge you for absolutely nothing. I have also reported them to my insurance company and sent them a summary of what occurred and they were very upset. I hope they withdraw there business from this company if they are going to treat people this way. BEWARE!!

Unlike other dealers, the Hertz experience was fantastic all around. No frills and no haggle, they were honest and clear throughout the whole process. James Hartle made the process a breeze, and was especially helpful with questions and showing all the options. Id highly suggest asking for him by name! I love the new car and the coverage they offer, would highly recommend not only for the best prices in town, but the best buying experience as well.

Purchased a SUV from them, it began to malfunction within a couple months of owning it. Tried to contact their manager to see if we could do anything to fix the issue but they dodged all of my calls. I was lied to and fed bs several times by employees. 6 months after purchasing the vehicle I had to trade it in because it was going to the GM dealership every month. Filed paperwork to get me extended warranty and GAP refund back and it’s been 9 weeks, they can’t tell me how much, where it’s at, or anything about it so idk if they even filed it. Stay away from this place. They will rob you blind and lie straight to your face. I’m debating on contacting a attorney because I am getting no where with this place. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere.

Great place to buy a used car. I worked with Mike Harnice and the whole process was easy with no pressure. Its really unlike other dealerships where people cling to you the second you walk in the door. I was able to test drive a few different vehicles, settle on one, change my mind and test drive them again. Mike was patient, super chill and a pleasure to work with. Cars are very reasonably priced, look sharp and the no haggle deal was great! I would definitely give Hertz a look if you are looking for a gently used car.

What great way to buy a car! No haggling, no pressure, no BS. Logan Moody, our sales person, was very up front and straight forward about everything. We knew exactly what we were getting and how much we were paying for it. No tricks and no deception. Everyone was polite and friendly.Remember that they were rental cars so they may have some minor dings and scratches, but we found that the cars we researched were truly priced below what they were listed for at traditional dealerships and were mechanically sound and well maintained. Highly recommended.

I purchased a car here a year and a half ago. I keep thinking about how shady it was about what went down, so Im reviewing it. I expressed a want in a 2016 chevy sonic. They ran my credit and said all was good. This car was less than $10,000. Well I came in with my deposit, and they told me the regional manager for all of the stores around the south east, messed up my application. So I HAD to purchase a warranty for an extra 1000$ or they wouldnt be able to sell me the car they already promised. So now looking, my loan was $12,000 when it was taken out. I think I got shamed of a few grand.

This is the second time we bought a car here. The people are very nice & accommodating. You can look online to find the car you want, then call them to make sure its available & to make arrangements to check it out & test drive it. Never had a problem out of the first vehicle we bought from Hertz but it got totalled.

Purchased a used vehicle at the Hendersonville TN location over a month ago and have yet to receive my license plate and my trade in has not been paid off, I do however have to start making payments on the car I received from them so I am now stuck paying two cars, dont buy a used car from Hertz especially if youre trading one in as they will take your money but not pay off your trade in in a timely manner as required by state law, these types of practices are why the company is going out of business

James was our sales guy and he was great. Any car I wanted to look in he was always willing to go get the keys. He kept in contact with us with out being overbearing till we came back to purchase. Bo made the paper work super easy and was great at explaing stuff. I will most definitely be back. Most importantly I LOVE my new car!!!

Called them told them to only run my credit thru 2 companies but they ran it thru 7 and now I have alot of hard inquiries on my credit then I called them to ask if they could tell me which financial company they got me approved thru and they wouldnt tell me. I wouldnt buy a car from here

I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Sonata here for $3000 below Kelly Blue Book. The staff is friendly and professional and the cars all pass a 150 point inspection. I had been looking at cars for a while and Hertz had the car I wanted at the price that was unbeaten by any local competitors. If your looking for a good car go here and ask for Mike, he was great to work with.

I am a long time Hertz Gold member and this was my first time renting from this branch. I could have been happier with the the rental and the staff. I had extenuating circumstances that required a rental unexpectedly and James did whatever it took to find me the right car and quickly. Since it was a last-minute thing, he had to drive to Springfield to find a car for me. Thats customer service!!!Any time that I need to rent locally it will be from this branch.

First, I want to say our family has already bought TWO Hertz rental/sale cars from Hertz in the last three years. We have a daughter in need of a car and we have strongly recommended that she purchase a Hertz vehicle. So, we quickly helped her obtain finance approval to do her car shopping at Hertz exclusively and suggested she take an hour drive to the Hendersonville location. She made contact with one of your representatives and exchanged a bit of communication regarding what she was looking for, a 2014 Nissan Sentra. She was told quickly there were none on the lot in such a way that it signaled to her: hey, discussion over. She was told she needed to go to the website. Well, she and I already know that cars are offered through the website utilizing the Hertz2Buy offerings and we bought our first car using that method. Our second car however, was purchased on the spot at a Hertz Car Sales lot after visiting two different locations. Our daughter then tried to re-establish a conversation again with him and ask if she could be contacted if the described model came in on the lot. It was like pulling teeth, so to speak. She has her financing, she knows how much she can spend, and she knows what model car she wants. What is it that you all want from a customer, a difficult interaction that allows a salesman to go back to a desk unproductive while a disappointed customer wonders, what just happened here? or a potential sale with a satisfied customer? When a customer says that she drove an hour to pursue buying a car, and she has the start of what she needs to buy a car, someone should appear interested and want a sale.

I have been renting with Hertz for each of my trips. Sarah always has my car ready and knows just what I like and need for the trip! Great prices and great customer service!!!

I really hope you buy a car elsewhere. Learn from my mistake. I purchased a car here 6 weeks ago and still have received any of the paperwork to get the registered and plated. So, I called and asked them where my stuff was and was told it would be another 2 weeks. 8 weeks to send out title paperwork when someone only has a 30 day temp tag, seriously?!? There attitude will change once youve paid for the car. Good luck getting anything after that.

All the reviews here are fake. This dealership is filled with dishonest people - the manager and the guy, Steve. They basically tried to sell me a car that was in bad condition - broken windshield, failed emissions test. Everything they said from when I first stepped inside was a lie. Don’t buy from here - you have been warned.

Im looking to buy our 2nd family car and my experience with these guys 2 1/2 years ago is still so fresh that Im gonna now review them, for 1. They try to trick you into buying a warranty they came in after running our credit 20+ times which we found out a few months after buying the car but they wrote a high interest rate on the paper and an estimate on our monthly payment that wasnt what I wanted to pay that included a warranty I said we couldnt afford warranty so he left for a few minutes then came back with a more reasonable interest rate and a few bucks better monthly payment my husband and I just took it but they kept the warranty in there without our knowledge so they made higher commission, then it took 3 months for them to do tax and title every time we called they had a new excuse why it wasnt done yet and went as far as blaming my husbands ID card which was a flat out lie the guy even offered to pay out of his own pocket for my husband a new ID I was like we just registered his truck a few weeks ago no issue so why are yall having a problem regardless you pay like 400 extra bucks so you dont have to be inconvenienced by doing it yourself yet they made it a horrible 3 month drawn out experience for us. Would I buy from hertz again? Yes thats why I gave it 2 starts for them but at this car lot hell no haha these men were very unprofessional and the man even cussed at me on the phone at one point which was so crazy! Im not mad anymore (clearly) lol Im hoping on a better experience with our next vehicle were looking to purchase. My advice though if you find a cheap car here go for it but dont go in there vulnerable theyll take advantage of you even if youre friendly.
