I was shopping at the Bargain Hunt in Hendersonville this past weekend and a young lady, who I think is somewhat new named Shannon. She was so sweet and helpful that I felt compelled to leave this review. Also, the store looked so amazing and organized. Everyone at this particular Bargain Hunt are truly the best customer service team Ive ever seen in a retail store. They deserve something special because ths kind of service is a rare thing nowadays. 👍👍👍👍👍

I have worked in discount retail for most of my adult working career, this is a very overpriced rummage sale! They do want to much for what appears to be leftover freight from other retail stores! They where a bit cluttered and should be more organized!

Really like this place. They used to get a lot better inventory, but they are beginning to come around. I have bought a lot of stuff here at great prices and saved a lot of money.

I love this store

The staff here were super helpful to me and my wife. We had our toddler and newborn with us and they picked up some bigger items and held them for us while we shopped so they would be safe. They then brought us a shopping cart. The deals are really good and the store is generally well organized.

The staff is super, Randy is fantastic, makes it a really friendly place. The store just hasnt been the same since they got rid of the Check my date sales pricing. There is hardly any merchandise to shop for anymore, used to be tons of stuff at a good price. Pricing now is maybe 1 dollar less than what I could pay to get it brand new, not damaged, dirty or missing a part in open box on Amazon. Leave empty handed most trips now. Also, are you selling used clothing now?

Good stuff at a good deal! I went in there looking for Legos, found two sets worth over $150, got em for about $85. Boxes were in a little rough condition, but all the bags were in there and sealed. Good place for cheap clothes, too.

Great staff. Cool selection. They are like a wholesale Walmart. Theres a grocery section, automotive, outdoors, bed, bath, clothing and lots more.

Was great when it was Bargain Hunt, now that its changed names and I assume owners, they basically charge normal price for almost everything. Ive found a few things that were more than even the original price. Used to love this store and leave with a cart full every time, now I have only bought maybe three small items in 6 months. And Im am avid shopper..

I like shopping at Home Depot. I deducted one star because you cant find help when you need it like in The Good Old Days.

I have now witnessed the new manager, Karen, I know this because she said it three times, be extremely rude to two different co workers of mine. We work below BH and normally shop on our lunch hour. We no longer shop when she’s working.I will say up till now I’ve always been met by friendly faces and wonderful customer service. Still in shock over the out right argumentative nature of, manager Karen.Store is much more organized now tho. Just don’t shop when the dragon lady is there.

I liked Bargain Hunt when they had discounts based on the label dates. I still find a lot of good deals on drinks, home goods, hardware etc. Just walking around is interesting.

I just stopped into this location (Hendersonville, TN) for the first time in several months. They have really started to turn this once failing store around. I met the store manager (Jenna) and she was very nice. She was very upbeat and positive and asked if there was anything that I needed help with. Her staff was also very polite and helpful during my visit. The store has definitely changed its appearance from the last time I visited. They have a huge selection of items that you can spend hours looking through and find great deals. Based on my experience I plan on returning to this store to continue Bargain Hunting.

Bargain Hunt isnt what it used to be. They used to get Amazon returns and it was always packed.

I hate leaving one star reviews. I really do. I feel like most people that do so are just exaggerating small problems. But ever since they changed the pricing system, all of these stores have turned to trash. If you actually look up items on Amazon or other stores online, their bargains are far and few between. Including today, we have even found old price stickers from the store the item came from with prices cheaper than the Bargain Hunt stick that was placed over it. My wife has even seen expired baby food (as in a year expired) on the shelves in multiple locations.Bargain Hunt literally used to be one of our favorite stores to shop. Now we hate it and only went today because my parents didnt remember the pricing system change. They left disappointed just like we did the first time we saw the changes that were made.Were sure you can find some deals for a few items, but overall the change has been greatly negative.

First time going there ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The cashier Karen provided me with EXCELLENT customer service.

Decent deals..

I used to go here for electronics, and was willing to dig to find great deals. Two issues now, they have nearly zero electronics and what they have is barely cheaper than online. This business was good while it lasted.

This is a good place just be ready to search you can find some good stuff cheaper than Dirt Cheap. Just look and youll see and it not all broken and busted up.

Good bargains and they have really cleaned up this location. Great place to find a deal on something you didnt know you wanted 🙂

Great prices but you do have to search

All these places are the same. Whats in stock and what is actually a deal? If you see something nice then they want too much. They forgot they get items big stores cant sell.

Inventory varies time to time, sometimes this store has good stuff, sometimes they dont have anything good

Deals galore, store is usually in pretty good condition. And they actually have a return policy in case something doesnt work! I still try to check what I buy first but I come back every couple of months as inventory changes regularly and you never know what you might find.

Love this store even though much of the things are higher prices than most Dept stores

I liked it better when the dates were on the price tag & everything was a certain percentage off, depending on how old the date on the tag was, depended on the discount. I got tons of 90% off items.Then they changed it all up & its no longer a thing. I do still go there 1~3 times a month.

Love the prices & open isles

The Hendersonville store i guess recently changed managers and staff. I must add this that the look of the store earlier and the setting was more appealing versus now it looks more like a thrift store with more thrift store like items set in a goodwill style. Also they had way more items earlier vs now, they used to bring more quality stuff and now they have cheap stuff. The quality has gone down badly and variety has also been reduced. This is now at about 5% of what it was before the manager changed. I loved going here and finding great deals but recently the setup got very depressing and i dont like going here anymore.

Always fun to poke around here. Everything from clothes to electronics, home and kitchen, furniture, outdoors, toys, and other odds and ends. Pretty good deals most of the time. 30 day return policy on most things.

If I could leave a zero star review I would Jenna the “manger” is not helpful and very rude to customers. She isn’t very personable and really mean to her staff. I’ve been in multiple times and on a few occasion I can hear her blatantly yell at her staff for stopping their task and helping customers the store is very unprofessional and unorganized. When you try to ask for help from Jenna she’s ignores you. This is one of the worst bargain hunts in Tennessee. When the old manager was there I had no issues. He was great. I here stories now about how Jenna throws product in the trash before it can hit the floor bc it’s to much work for her. I’ve also seen the dumpster divers wait on her to throw the product out. This store is an embarrassment.

Bargain Hunt used to be a great spot to find a bargain, but now its just older, opened and sometimes broken items. Some. Of this could be looked past because the prices were so good. Now, the prices are not much better than the sale prices you can find at the stores that originally sold the items.

This store has a nasty manager Jenna B she is a bit off. The first time i spoke to her, she was busy talking to herself and weirdly when i am looking at something, she comes and starts arranging stuff right next. Now, yesterday we saw something in the electronic and my husband wanted to find the right price for the item and found it way cheaper plus shipping for free so he wanted to show her the correct price to be able to get a match (with no guarantees that the item will work and we wouldnt have to come back for a return). The manager came and started to check the price on her phone like we were lying to her and then she started to say we will only price match with Amazon or Target, those are our competitors (Those competitors sell refurbished, used products for much cheaper at their stores) Bargain store like this one should sell stuff cheaper because they buy stuff by pennies per a crate and this headphone being sold at $49 else where new for at $99 at Bargain Hunt! When my husband said Do you want to look at the price i found, the search criteria is lowest price since its a bargain store and no guarantee She said NO! and walked off throwing a huge attitude while my husband was still speaking !!! Gosh! Never seen a manager like that before in any store that they are comparing themselves with.First, this store is like a junk storeSecond, their prices are way more than a first hand reputable storeThird, they have defective items and outdated items on food aisle (i have pointed it out multiple times to the employees and they say people do it?? What an excuse to be SUPER DIRTY, I have been to other BH and never seen one so pricey, dirty and full of 4th hand items.)Fourth, who even hired the psycho manager, who knows nothing about CS!!! This store is like a trash bin and a BIG NO for me.

One of the cleanest and best bargain hunts in the area

I really enjoyed it. This was my first time at Bargain Hunt and I was impressed.

This wholesaler has recently changed it format and it is nowhere near as good as it use to be. Once apon a time, you could go here and hunt for an item, and it might be drastically marked down due to the date on the price tag. (The longer the item was on the shelf, the cheaper it was after a certain percentage was deducted from,the final price) Now, its full price all of the time, which takes the Bargain and the Hunt out of Bargain Hunt. Use to be a fun store to shop in, as you never knew what you could walk out with. Now, its just a messy cluttered up store thats nowhere near as fun to shop at.

Good finds, just be willing to search. Great way to pass time.

Used to love bargain hunt, but now its poorly priced garage that can be purchased brand new and cheaper on Amazon.

This was the first and last time going to this location, store was dirty, shelves looked like a tornado went through, no type of order and when I asked a salesperson to help me find something she was to busy to take time to help. I will go back to the location in Dickson they have a much nicer atmosphere.

Prices were okay, staff was very very friendly, but theyre display of items was very much like a second-hand store, even though the clothes were new. Lots of items strewn about. Poor organization and frankly it made us not want to have to sort through the racks for the deals which were mediocre.

It takes too much time to find a good deal. They give the most discount when you find something from last year. The problem is that most stuff is dated this month. I check one item online and its cheaper. Staff was friendly and I forgot to mention that they sell washers and dryers.

TERRIBLE. Poor customer service. The store looks like it ate a shipping warehouse and threw up its contents everywhere. You can barely walk down the isles there is so much thrown everywhere and almost nothing is in a box but the box is still there empty with the price on it which means you have to find the contents first asumming its not broken in pieces or dented beyond repair. Most of the employees walk around snails picking up items and moving it two inches just to place It back down. I suggest not wasting your time.

Usually enjoy browsing thru store. But it is in such disarray its hard to find things. Looks as if some effort may be going on in some areas to straighten things up. Does not appear to discount items like before therefore less savings on items.
