Great people to work with . They are always on time of getting there work . I will be going back to them soon . Up front and honest with you and will let you know if its going to cost you more than they said to begin and leave it up to you if you get the extra work done . Thank you for always being there
I drive a 2011 Sierra and I noticed the steering getting stiff on Wednesday night and by Thursday afternoon something in my drivers front wheel well was shot. I called Ryan Thursday afternoon and dropped my truck off that night. Ryan and the team called me first thing in the morning to let me know my wheel bearing was gone and asked if I wanted them to move ahead with repairs. I said yes and drove off Friday afternoon with a fixed truck. Ive never had such fast and quality service, the service was top notch. Not having my daily driver was stressful but The Shop got it back to me in record time. Ill definitely be coming back when I need to! Thanks Guys!
Moved to Maine and was looking for a new mechanic. Am I glad I found these guys! Frank (the owner) and Ryan are always very helpful. Their hourly rate is a little more than am I used to paying, however you get what you pay for and they do excellent work! I also called when I was doing some research for a new vehicle and they provided me with some good insight on the pros and cons on which vehicle I suggested! I highly recommend The Shop Inc!
If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. Absolutely awful experience. Brought the car there because it was making an awful noise and suspected something was wrong with the belt, and told The Shop so. They said they would run a full diagnostic on the car and get back to us in 2-3 days. Over a week passed, with us calling once a day after the time frame they gave us only to get the same “we haven’t gotten a chance to look at it yet” response. When we finally got the car back, they simply told us nothing was wrong with the car, charged us, and sent us on our way, with the car still sounding and running terribly. Proceeded to take the car to another shop. As soon as they turned the car on, they recognized that it was the belt and quickly fixed it for us. Either The Shop is too incompetent to recognize a simple belt problem in a car, they did not check the belt, or they purposely told us there was nothing wrong with the car when there obviously was in hopes to extort more money out of us in the future.
They had my car for a month made me pay 500 bucks for nothing. They told me they would call me in a week never did I had to call them just to tell me they did one hour of work on it.
Im giving this place a 3 for their auto service and a 1 for their windshield service. Overall they get a generous 2 from me. I was visiting from out of town and needed a couple oil changes, one on an RV and one on my car. I also needed a new windshield because mine got cracked while traveling. I called an RV place and they recommended this place so I called.. They told me they didnt do windshields but had a guy who came to their shop (like a contractor) who could do it. I was happy because they got me in quickly, allowed us to wait, and really accommodated our schedule. However their windshield person removed my windshield and the new windshield didnt fit. (Unfortunately for me) this is the 4th time Ive replaced my windshield and this is the 1st time the windshield didnt fit. There was nothing they would do to address the fact that I no longer had a drivable car. I had errands to run including driving 100 miles to replace my broken cell phone. So I was forced to shell out an extra $75 to rent a car. They did give me a ride to the rental car place which was nice. That is where their generosity ended. That didnt at all make up for the extra money I had to spend to rent a car. Further they nickel and dimed me for things like a windshield washer fluid refill. You would think the least they could do after breaking my car would be to complimentary top off my washer fluid ($1.74) or replace my headlight (15.99 BTW my regular mechanic charges me $9 for a headlight bulb) but did they? No. My car is old. I have driven it more than 100,000 miles, it has 240,000. I know my car and how it runs. It NEEDED an oil change. Despite me telling them it take 6 quarts, they didnt properly fill it. It ran horribly after I got it back. I had to add oil. Im not actually convinced they changed the oil but it appears cleaner. They also had to charge my battery for some unknown reason (like they didnt take care of my car, left the lights on, left a door open, etc). They obviously saw that I was from out of state and gave me poor service. I would not go here unless you are local (maybe). Lesson learned.Btw office manager person who responds to complaints/bad reviews, there is nothing you can do to address this unless you are willing to reimburse my rental car expense which the owner wasnt willing to do because as I mentioned im from out of town. I guess you saw me coming......In response to the below comment. I am not an idiot. I know what car I drive. Ive driven it for 7 years and would never tell anyone its an s60. Of course the windshields are different. So perhaps instead of suggesting im stupid and dont know what kind of car I drive, you should think again.Further I did express concern about being forced to rent a car and the associated cost. The service advisor simply suggested my insurance may cover it. Like I have that sort of coverage on a 15 year old car worth less than $3,000. Even if i did, such a claim would drive up my rates actually making them more expensive than the rental. Thats what happens when you use your insurance, your rates go up.Anyone can say they did anything they want to but my car has been meticulously serviced. I happen to have a great mechanic who actually rebuilt my engine recently including putting in a new head gasket. The car runs impeccably with regular oil changes. It doesnt burn or leak oil though I dont trust it wasnt sabotaged in some way during its servicing here. When i got my car back it struggled to downshift from second to first and had a knock (what it does when the oil is bad or it doesnt have enough). I had to add oil. Period.I was under my best behavior at the shop because my husband worked very hard to calm me down. How could anyone think I would be satisfied with a mechanic shop that left me without a car during basic service, left me to deal with the aftermath, and finally suggested that i am an idiot and dont know about my own vehicle or that i lied about it?Why didnt I bring it up? I shouldnt have had to.
Excellent Service! Very quick, professional and competitive labor rate. I was able to see photos of the issues with my vehicle. Issues were prioritized and taken care of accordingly. I would highly recommend The Shop.
Fantastic customer service, very thorough and very fair pricing. We love this place!
I had been looking for a mechanic I could trust and not break the bank when they moved into their new shop right in my neighborhood. They started with my 2010 Sebring and now my 2018 Rogue. So glad I discovered them. Awesome people, very friendly and helpful.
Quick friendly service at a fair price. Highly recommend.
Ryan and Frank were great. They are very professional and thorough assessing my M3. I’m very confident in their capabilities and have recommended Shop Inc to several of my family members, friends and business colleagues.
Friendly and prompt service 👍
Beware! They will quote you one price and then turn around charging you more. I got charged 25% more than quoted price...I couldnt say anything because work was done. They try to show that they are professional by sending alerts to your phone but sketchy pricing behavior is rampant.
Great service that is knowledgeable, fast, affordable and friendly. I love how clean it is and how advanced they are with technology. The location is very convenient also.
Definitely a first time repairs friendly kind of people. First an estimate was drawn high, repairs were made from $2k worth of repairs in EIGHT HOURS!!! Speedy work and friendly customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this auto mechanic shop for all your vehicular needs.
After debating getting new tires in my own head, I reached out to Frank and his team for advice. They did research for me, got me multiple quotes (6), and then helped me make sense of different scenarios for what I might need for my car. The main reason Frank and his team can put in this much effort is because they take the time to learn about their customers driving patterns. They know the kinds of roads I drive on, the distance I travel, and my safety priorities. Frank can answer my questions before I get them out and his growing team is following closely behind. While I hate to spend money on the car - I wouldnt want to spend that money at any other shop.
Outstanding service. I had a timing chain replaced in my ford f 150 which ran into some additional fault codes. They figured everything out and cleared all codes. Very professional, clean outfit. Will use them over my dealer anytime.
Great, honest customer service. Its hard to find but I found it here at The Shop! I was given a quote and when it was time to pick it up they reduced it by $200.00. I will be going back for all future work. This is a great addition to the Hermon area.
Very friendly, professional, prompt service and reasonably price.
Quick service at a last minute need 😎Thank you !
Took the car in for our first state inspection. Mechanic was kind enough to point out that the transmission we had just replaced (thankfully still under warranty) was leaking. He even took some of his time to talk to the people that replaced the transmission. Having just moved to the area finding a mechanic to trust is always a chore. This time around it was easy.
So, I just returned to Arizona from a long cross country trip and really wanted to give them a five star review. They really helped me out as my aftermarket fuel pump died and left my wife and I stranded a long way from home. They were able to help us as an emergency repair right before the Fourth of July. They did a great job installing the new fuel pump so what’s the problem? I have a highly modified diesel pickup and just downloaded my data logger. What I don’t appreciate and is totally unacceptable is how they abused my truck during the “test drive”! My data logger clearly show that while my truck was in their possession they ran my truck to the redline, pushed my turbo boost past 80psi and overheated my exhaust gas temperature past 1400 degrees. Also, inferring from the data logger they did “boosted” launched and burnouts based on the truck speed vs wheel speed and turbo boost . I am glad I installed my “mild” Engine control module for cross country driving and hopefully there are no long term effects from their abuse. Also, I asked for the old fuel pump and extra installation parts and was told they weren’t a box in the back of my truck. The old fuel pump was but not the unused installation parts like the fuel fittings, hoses and such. Don’t trust them with a performance vehicle.
Honesty will keep me coming back!
They just moved to their new location at 2312 Rt 2. Just a bit past Morgan Hill if your heading out of town
