If I could give zero stars I would. Pharmacy is horrible. Bad customer service- long wait times if you call or stop in or use drive through. Discourteous pharmacy staff and supervisor. Their system doesn’t work properly but it the customer’s fault. The convenient location does not overcome all of the negatives. Would not recommend.
Literally i have been on hold with them for an hour because i need a med filled that is out of stock there BUT NO ONE IS ANSWERING
Have you ever tried to call them? No one picks up the phone.. Terrible.
This store is average. Some of the staff are very rude, while other employees are kind and professional. So I don’t know what type of service I will receive when I go. I understand that working with the general public can be unforgiving and hard. So I want to shout out to Sean & Jay for helping me and being good at their jobs. Molly is snippy and nasty at the cash register though.
On hold for more than 10 min. They are a mess. I have been to three stores now for a product and they are sold out. Thats fine but they will not call you when they arrive. Then people wonder why AMAZON is destroying brick and mortar locations. Well get your S#it together. I sure the executives and CEOs all get their bonus while their staff is getting minimum wage and no health benefits
Really nice staff. One of the pharmacy folks helped me get a discount on my prescription!
Got my first flu shot in years and was super nervous, but the pharmacist, Sean, was totally awesome and assured me it wasn’t going to hurt as badly as I had remembered. Very easy going guy! This particular pharmacy services a huge community and for not being open 24 hours a day, and seemingly short staffed, they do a great job. It’s hard to read all the negative comments on here but hopefully this one will spark more positive comments!
It’s a fairly normal CVS, stopped in while traveling from out of the area. No issues and the workers were helpful and nice. Got everything I needed in the same place, that’s all I ask for when stopping at a CVS :)
This is the local CVS near my house. Ive used it several times since moving here, and it seems like a normal CVS. I like that it has a drive through window (although its usually faster to go in the store) so if Im feeling lazy or in my PJs because Im sick and couldnt put on real clothes, I can use that service. I did unfortunately have to go get plan B one time (boyfriend and I had a condom issue) and I was nervous that the checkout person would be judgy or make me feel uncomfortable, but they processed the item like any other item, which was a relief. They always have a large selection of items, and the store clerks have always been pleasant when Ive asked for assistance finding items.
No one was around at all. Never saw a staff member. Only self service with no bags. Very weird and creepy.
I’ve been going here as my primary pharmacy for a year. I’ve never had any issues with store staff or the pharmacists. I pick up my my prescription monthly and have never had any wait time or privacy concerns. I say this because some people have, and it’s not my experience. However I should note that I am white and a lot of the customers with complaints are people of color, and that’s concerning.
I dont have any issues with the store itself. Its a little pricey, as these types of stores usually are, but they do have some great deals from time to time. However, as many people have said, this pharmacy side of it is extremely frustrating! Some of them are very nice, but its nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and they never seem to get prescriptions unless you carry them in yourself. It takes hours, sometimes days, of calling back and forth between CVS and your doctor before they finally say they just got the voicemail or fax and this is long after your doctors office called/faxed it in. Im not sure what the issue is, but I hope they get it together and things run more smoothly. Its not an experience I look forward to.
Refuse to get prescriptions filled there as there is no privacy at the prescription counter. All customers waiting hear every word you say back and forth to the pharmacist. Customer service at this counter is very slow. Too many store clerks stocking shelves and not enough attention at the front-end check-out counters. Rite Aid has much more privacy; more helpful and better customer service.
This pharmacy calls my cell number on a regular basis about a patients prescriptions. I am not that patient. Ive made 4 attempts now where I called them and told them the number in thier system is not for the proper person. I live substantially outside the range of that pharmacy. The people that answer the phone at the Hershey pharmacy suggest I need to contact thier corporate center (without providing any info) and let them know the issue. I did my due diligence in letting them know they have the wrong number. It should be the pharmacys priority to resolve the issue. Today I just got a call about the prescription running out. If I got that call that means the patient did not.Incompetence!Im posting this review because people should know they are not active in resolving issues for or with thier patients. I can provide a Photo of my call logs as proof
This Pharmacy is unprofessional, incompetent and ill mannered. After numerous attempts at getting some sense of resolution for multiple medications, I was helped by a Pharmacist named John who was kind, courteous and completely knowledgeable. Unfortunately for me, John is not working every single day and I ended up have to deal with the unprofessional monkeys behind the pharmaceutical counter, AGAIN! 😕 CVS needs all there staff to take a lesson from John, the pharmacist in customer service skills. I understand that sometimes a new business needs time to adjust, but I think they have had ample time. I have transferred my prescription out of there. This place needs shut down, until CVS Corporation can place the proper trained professional pharmaceutical staff at this location.
They have been filling my ambien prescription for 2 days. The woman on the phone has been very nice but she keeps insisting they need more information from my Doctor. My doctor lives 3 houses down from me and insists they have everything. I dont understand why they cant just fill my prescription. I know its not life threatening but not being able to sleep for 2 nights is troublesome. Please...DO YOUR JOBS.
The pharmacist tech had the audacity to shame me for buying plan b. She stated a whole bunch of people had come in to buy it and we really all should be more careful. She stated it loud enough that an elderly man could hear and had to put his two cents in as well. I was buying it for a friend but i stilll thought that was disgustingly unprofessional and i will not be coming back to this establishment. Like how absolutely disgusting and degrading behavior. Pharmacists are NOT to shame people or judge people. They are to help people get the medication they need. Her opinion was not needed nor appreciated and i am shocked they still have this kind of staff here.
I felt I needed to add my review because of the negative reviews I saw on here. I will admit, its very slow at times at the pharmacy counter. But I dont think this is the pharmacists and techs faults, as it gets very busy at certain times during the day, such as right after work when everyone stops to pick up their prescriptions. This is mostly unavoidable. Perhaps they are understaffed at times. I have never had any issues with this CVS in terms of rudeness; in fact, I think mostly everyone who works here is pleasant and helpful.
Waited in line fifteen minutes at the retail side because associate wouldnt call for back up. I usually dont usually write bad reviews but its really the easiest thing to keep a line moving... buying toiletries shouldnt take fifteen minutes.
Consistently rude and lazy staff, particularly a heavy set blonde haired girl with a horrendeous attitude. Always an issue with them not seeing a prescription in their own computer systems. As a customer you have to practically do their job for them, by calling up your own doctor, verifying everything, just to be told the error is on CVSs end. Im assuming 80% of the employees dont know how to properly use the electronic prescription system because employee turnover is ridiculous; new faces every couple of months it seems. My doctor has literally screamed at staff on the phone because they failed to properly update medication dosage, and as a result was taking too low of a dosasge for several months. I guess CVS doesnt care about medical negligence liability.
Some of the pharmacists are not nice on the phone and are clearly racist if you have an accent.
The pharmacy is very slow. There are four people behind the counter and you wait 5 minutes for them to come and ask you what you need. Another 15 minutes to get the prescription filled. I was the only one there! This is the second visit and this happened both times.
Staff is so very Rude in the pharmacy. Three times Ive had to yell my name and birthdate (so loud the whole store could hear me) to the girl waiting on me because she couldnt hear me. So much for the HIPPA law in this place.
Slow weight times at pharmacy. Like really slow. I once stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting for them to stop talking (about the news) to serve me. And Brian the tall one waved me off saying he had no prescription for me (while I was in line and had not said a word) luckily the prescription (I amazingly DID have waiting) got to me eventually. The rest of the store is fine from my experience. Also ive heard the pharmacists complain in front of customers about the supposedly broken drive thru window beeping even when there are no cars. Just generally doesnt feel very professional
Absolutely worst pharmacy! They give no privacy when discussing private matters, sometimes speaking extremely loud about your personal information. Questioning matters in which are non of their buisness, issues that should be only discussed between yourself & your doctors. The worst customer service, slow & usually with a attitude including the pharmacists. I have never been treated so badly with such disrespect then I have at this pharmacy in more instances then Id like to remember. This evening being the worst of them all by the supervising pharmacist. Being judged & asked questions they have no right or buisness asking. We have been going to this location for 10 years & still always having the same issues.. Currently stuck because of insurance & it is the only pharmacy to carry one of my meds brand that I am not allergic to. We have finally decided to just go out of our way to another CVS so we never have to step foot in there again! I have honestly never dealt with such unprofessional, ignorant employees, pharmacists & managers then at the Hershey Pharmacy. All you need to do is walk in and immediately notice the unorganized mess in which they handle their customers prescriptions & personal information. Just stay away, drive the extra 5-10 miles to Palmyra, Middletown or Harrisburg. Believe me its worth the pain.
Prior reviews are spot on. They are incredibly busy for whatever reason and if you want to wait for a prescription plan on it taking 45 mins. Unbelievably rude at times, the other day I heard a pharmacy tech talk to another tech about a customers high heels, Look at those high heels (smirking), I hope she falls and breaks her neck. If it werent for new rules where my doctor makes you use the same pharmacy I would have gone else where. Im sure I could switch, just havent felt like dealing with that hassle. No, privacy at drop off (about 5 feet of line space from the counter). Also, if you are on any kind of written prescription I have been unnecessarily interrogated (called my doctor). Other then that they are OK (lol). I will say they have a really nice male retail side manager or supervisor who always greets everyone.
Slow pharmacy. Waited at the register for 15 minutes while a pharmacy worker totally ignored me.
Poor customer service, slow, and unprofessional. They auto refill your prescriptions even when you tell them not to. They back-order medicine and never call to tell you that it was back-ordered and needs to be ordered so you have to call or go to the counter (and wait 5-10 minutes, if you are lucky) to find out that it will be another 24-48 hours before your medicine is ready. The only reason I continue going is because Im forced to with my health insurance plan.
Pharmacy tech was quite nice and service was pretty fast
The pharmacist was very rude and ignorant!!
Went to pick up two scripts stood there for six mins and nobody said a word...this is the same problem when you go through the drive through there pharmacy dept.lacks customer service...Im thinking about changing pharmacys....this is not the first time this has happened
Consistently unprofessional and poor customer service at the pharmacy. I have filled my last prescription there, I am switching to another pharmacy.
Always out of stock for crucial medicine.
Always a long wait at the pharmacy. Scripts are rarely done in time. I hate this location with a passion.
So expensive
Excellent
