That is worst company to buy impact window, stay away from this factory, horrible quality.

I never write reviews, but this business is so awful I had to. The negative reviews are true. The owner Jose Fernandez is rude and unresponsive. He was late in fulfilling the order and then acted as if he was doing me a favor by delivering it. Never mind that I had already wasted a trip to his warehouse to pick up my product only to find out that the product was not ready once I got there. He also got the color scheme wrong and did not give me a refund. His loss. I have another 15 windows in my house that I will be purchasing impact glass for, but there’s no way in hell I will be doing it with him.

Jose the owner is unprofessionaland rude. The window is late 2 weeks and has the nerve of screaming that he does not care. I requested my money back and changing to vista windows even if it takes delaying the work. Someone with this work ethic is not safe to trust the safety of my home in a hurricane

Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this company. They have no customer service, no one to answer the phone. There is only one person working in the office and he only works in the mornings. If you call after lunch, good luck getting someone to answer the phone. Owner is basically the only one working in the office but he prefers to be back in the warehouse cutting aluminum. After 6 months my order is still not complete. I have been promised final delivery 4 different times which are just lies. I even called the glass manufacturer in Orlando (trulite) to find out if my order had been delivered and they said Universal had not paid them for the order so no delivery. I had to hire installers eventhough contract included installation. They also told me to do the finish before getting an inspection which is totally wrong. City inspector failed the inspection (of course). Had to undo the finish on some windows, call inspection, then redo the finish. These company is the worst I have ever seen.

This is THE WORST company to ever get involved with. DO NOT go to them for anything. They are the most unprofessional people... who are the greatest professional liars. Over 3 months waiting for windows & doors. Lie after lie. Do yourself a huge favor: look elsewhere for windows and doors. Trust every bad review; they could not be worse. There are a lot of companies that manufacture windows and doors. Stay away from this terrible company. I will also be contacting the BBB to file a formal complaint. These reviews exist for a reason. I took the time to write this review because what has happened to our family need not happen to yours. (Note: Please beware of any good reviews you find for this company, as these can likely be from: employees, friend or owner, Jose Fernandez. THIS IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS.)
