Rajbhog is one of the best Indian cafes in Hicksville. They’ve been providing the Apna Ghar senior program with delicious, tasty food for the past 6 years. Rajbhog is very considerate of dietary restrictions, and they work with us to make individualised meals for the seniors.

Good food of they pay attention to get it done right. It may be a hit or miss.Post covid the pricing is crazy high.

The owner of Rajbhog and her staff is awesome; our group has been catering Jain food from them for many years whether it be for one meal, a days event or a 3 day retreat. This place always attractive as this is oldest indian vegetarian restaurant was in Jackson Height was always packed . Which sadly I was not able to find last month . Very neat and helpfully ladies very humble and kind. Such attitude hardly able to find in most asian restaurants. Every sweet or snacks is delicious with each bite.

Good food and very good service. Staff is friendly and courteous. Perfect spot for Indian fast food and snacks. Also tried their weekend buffet which served sumptuous food at an affordable price. We love the fresh chaat made to order and Bengali sweets. Catering pure vegetarian food for parties is cost effective and minimizes cooking and cleanup at home. Too bad the convenient Jackson Heights closed.

Taste of food and bakery varies here.

Good, clean food. They have a good thali and also have decent snacks. The only problem is that they have a rude staff member. I went to use their restroom, and one of the staff members told me to keep the restroom clean and make sure to clean up after myself in a snarky and rude way. I didnt say anything because it seemed like she was having a bad day, and I also understand that during these times, such messages are important, but you cannot speak in such a way.

Dont waste your money. Not what it used to be. I ordered the Pani puri which was not spicy at all. Not enough pani with the order to go. The bhel was 90% sev, I dont think they used any of their own bhel mix. Not enough of the other ingredients, onion, chutney... The ragda pattice (made with chole - which they did tell me) was just okay. No real flavor but edible. Seems like Rajbhog has lost its quality and name.

Got a kulfi faluda and come to find out there’s no kulfi in it, it had vanilla ice cream. Would’ve been nice for them to let me know before hand but I guess they think the customer won’t notice!!!!

Has been going here for lunch thali here since last 1 year, prices are very reasonable and you have many options to eat. Sweets and snacks are fresh all the time here. Weekend buffet also has many choices with great lower price. This place is much cleaner and food quality is really great with all your favorite home made dishes.

This is a quaint little place amongst all the other Indian restaurants in the area. The place is run by Indian aunties, so youre sure to receive a warm welcome just like home!! The buffet is bang for the buck and consists of pure vegetarian appetizers, curries, chaat, sweets and masala tea and more. Worst food I have ever had. This place sucks. I had a samosa,masala tea, and the lunch buffet. They give only 1 chapati in buffet, really I was shocked. And the buffet food sucked, it felt like it was cooked day before. I have never had horrible food and tea than this in my whole life. Their kitchen wasnt clean at all. Overall I would give them a 0 star if I could.

This spot is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very welcoming and the cooking they offer is so fresh and tasty. I am always happy to have a nice meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Everything was great! Curries were excellent, breads were fantastic, and lassi was the best Ive ever had. It does take a bit longer than preferred to get your food after ordering, but staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Didnt get any of the sweets, but they all looked good and I look forward to returning.

Very well kept and accessible place. They offer big meals and for affordable rates. We loved the menu very much and the waiters were super affable and informative. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Review on Catering -Very poor quality and very bad taste. Some Indian Curry are so worst that it looks like it might cooked by Non-Indian or a person does not know how to cook. Also food lasting limit is so low that you cant even eat food little hours after you have picked-up. That shows food was prepared days ago. I will suggest to all people, please skip Rajbhog Hicksville NY restaurant for catering. Hope my review will help others.

This place is great! Convenient pricing, big portions and the staff are consistently super nice.

I was craving Chana Batura and decided to stop by. They dont seem to have like a dedicated front desk person and there was a lady ordering sweets. During that order, she asks me what I want and sort-of let one of the other staff know in random conversation. Id say they need more structure. When it was my turn to pay or pickup my order, they were extra-nice in the way they spoke to me. Food was good. This is one of those places Id come back to for the sake for the food.

An average sweet shop, I only picked up one mithayi which looked as if it just came out of the kitchen and was happy with its freshness and taste. Few recommendations for the staff - Please create some ambience here, the hand written posters do not look very professional. And I suggest having atleast two people at the front at all times. (Poor lady was dealing with a line up and we all could hear giggles from the inside of the kitchen. After someone commented on the wait time, the lady went in to get help from others at the back)

My wife got samosa chat and samosa from this place last week. It tasted good. Every sweet is fresh. We always come here for vegetarian food. They have wide selection. Catering prices are amazing if you love the vegetarian food.

Thali lunch selection is always good. Also a nice variety of snacks and sweets are available for special occasions and holidays.

Great place for delicious Indian sweets. They also have a large selection of vegetarian items. The staff is very sweet. The prices are more than reasonable. The food is always fresh, as it is always crowded. Cash only. There are tables and chairs, to eat in. There is parking on the street, as well as in the parking lot on the side of the building. Self service but the staff will bring the food to your table.

Cheap but not a good service. I was asked to wait for 15 minutes for a roti and another 20 minutes for next roti. This is the longest I ever waited for a roti in any restaurant in my life. It ruined my weekend.

One single normal size prantha and little vegetable on the side.We can get a pair of stuffed prantha roti with side of vegetable on other to go Indian resturantnts . Good for somebody on diet. Not if you are really hungry. You will pay more then what you eat.

Their signs say they open till 9:30. I got there at 8:45 and was told they cant serve.

I order for catering and the rice was spoiled. Call the store and they said I was lying and refused to replace it or offer a solution. It had a foul smell and the food looks as if it was leftovers. Poor customer service.

Well, the two ladies are absolute junk in this restaurant. This is the only restaurant in this world who serve HOT faluda, meaning - the faluda they served has ROCK SOLID ice cream, I mean realll rock solid and when I asked about the same, she wants to keep a plastic cup in the microwave, she wants me to wait until it melts and eat, she was RIDICULOUSLY RUDE towards customers and said, then dont eat I dont care. I wish I could give a negative star for their manners and customer treatment.
