I highly recommend this salon. I moved to HP 2 years ago from another state and started using this salon. I have used 3 different stylist (Kasey, Sara and Nick) and they are all amazing. They are very professional and do such a good job on my highlights and haircut. Nick recently did something very kind for me at a time I needed it most. All of the staff is so nice and helpful. They have done a great job during Covid making everyone feel safe.

I just moved to the area and went to Gordon because of good online reviews. Sarah gave me highlights. She did exactly what I asked her the first time but realized later I needed an adjustment to make it slightly darker. I came back and she adjusted it no questions. She was skilled, professional, positive and pleasant both times. Highly recommend Sarah at this Salon! I will return.

I took advantage of the free service offered as a result of my last experience and it was MUCH better.I was cheerfully greeted at the front desk by sara and Brittany. I then received a great haircut from my talented stylist Sara. Afterwards, I was thanked and again cheerfully acknowledged by a tall young woman (unfortunately, I don’t know her name) at the desk. This was probably the best experience I have had at this location in the two years I have been going! I understand that stylists may not always be available to greet /check me in, however the personality that they showed today was exactly what this place needs more of! Please find more employees like the ones I interacted with today! EXCELLENT!

I had Nic, he was very nice and he helped me picked out between two pictures! He made sure I liked everything and let me know what was happening throughout the haircut. They use Aveda products that made my hair sooo soft and smell so good.

First of all, the salon is extremely clean and very compliant with Covid-19 protocols. I felt very safe. The receptionist was lovely and Kelsey is a terrific stylist. Great haircut! I will be a loyal client from now on.

Had a Haircut With Pablo and he did a fantastic job! multiple warm towels on the face, massage, 2 shampoos and a great clean up to my longer hairstyle. cleaned up my neckline perfectly as well, left very happy. had a great conversation about his huge vinyl collection and stereo stuff, we were both very into music. Highly Recommend Pablo to anyone!

Really sweet people. Very patient and have always been very accommodating when I come in not really knowing what I want. Peyton is a wonderful young woman with a lot of talent. First person to cut and color my hair and find a style the I can actually replicate at home! Now thats talent. Additionally, Ive seen both owners in the HP salon and as someone who runs a small business in HP I really appreciate seeing them and watching the interactions with the employees. Of course I cant leave out the fact that the place smells FANTASTIC - its an Aveda salon so you cant go wrong.

UPDATE: PRICES WENT WAY UP? And - for this sort of money I dont expect SCREW-UPS like cutting my hair the wrong length or coloring my entire head, not leaving ANY grey! What do you do then? And they didnt, at THESE PRICES, offer to fix it! Gordon Salon is highly recommended if you want hair magic. Hair artists are amazing and costly. 2 stars for cost and elitist attitude of some stylists.

Ive been going to Gordon Aveda for the past 10 years. I always feel Im pampering myself when I get my haircut here. From the hand and scalp massage to the delicious tea that is served to the terrific haircuts I receive, I am never disappointed! I have sent friends to Gordon and they have all been return customers!

I’m not much for doing my hair and I’m not much for reviews. So this review alone is enough evidence in just how awesome my experience with Kelsey was. She was so patient with my indecisiveness and very collaborative with my overall vision that it made getting a balayage (never thought I would use that word) and taking off nearly 7” worth of hair a magical experience! Kelsey is a rainbow unicorn disguised as a fierce, yet kind hair stylist armed with some amazing scissors and I could not have imagined a better experience. Aveda salons are my absolute favorite and in my very strong (and never wrong) opinion, if Kelsey isn’t handling your locks, are you even living?

Both my husband and I have had great hair cuts from Eren at the Gordon Salon in Highland Park. We have recently moved here from out of state, and had been going to the same stylist for 25+ years. Changing to a new stylist could have been traumatic, but Eren listened to what we wanted in a hair cut. She gave us excellent cuts and we feel like we have found a new home.

Sarah is talented and thorough! The salon is warm and inviting. I traveled from Wisconsin 3 hours to go to this salon. I needed to go from long to short and I was so amazed by the job she did. I would give her 6 stars if I could!
