I had to coordinate a drop off, repair and pick up with these guys and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately my engine is completely ruined but these guys only charged me for the cost of parts while attempting to resolve my issues. They were patient and understanding as well. Great crew.

I had Tuffy replace most of my exhaust system a couple of years ago. Recently, I noticed my car getting more noisy as I accelerated. I went back to Tuffy and they found my exhaust was the cause again and needed to be partially replaced. I had passed the warranty on parts by two months. Feeling sick to my stomach, I had Tuffy perform the replacements. When I came to pick up my car, I asked Tom if he could work out a deal on price with me. He said, no deals. When I looked at the bill, it said $0.00. I was flabbergasted and asked what happened. Tom made some calls and somehow worked out the warranty to be honored in addition to not charging me for the labor. Thank you Tom and Tuffy! My car is running smoothly and youve made me a very happy customer.

Ive gotten terrible service almost all my life, but that is not the case with Tuffy in Hilliard. My experience has been great. Tom, the owner, is nice as can be and will even take the time to talk cars with you if youre into that. Ask him about his Corvette.Pricing is fair. Service is fast and up to standards. I like that theyll even let you supply your own parts if youre picky about what goes on your car like me.

I had the absolute BEST experience with Tuffy in Hilliard, Ohio. I paid a GREAT price and had lots of work done on my car! The problem was fixed and I feel relieved! They were so honest and answered all of my questions!!! I would and will recommend this to everyone I know! I will never go anywhere else in this area for auto work!

So sorry to see this establishment has closed. It is going to be tough to find a shop to replace what this place has been to me over the years. Have a good retirement Tom, you earned it!I have taken a total of 5 different vehicles to this Tuffy over the years. I have always been pleased with the service and the price. If you want to be coddled, or need soft cuddly words to smooth over your vehicle issue, go pay double somewhere else. If you want the truth, and good work at a fair price, then this is your place.

Our Ford Escape suddenly light up for ABS and check brake system & check 4x4. I took it to FxxxSxxxx first. The guy there said they have a 80 dollar fee for diagnosis for the ABS. I insisted on asking what will be for diagnosing the brake and the 4x4. He went to his computer and told me itll be another $80 some dollar. So, if I didnt persistently ask, hell make me feel like only $80, but charge me $160...Anyway, it sounds a bit much. So I called Tuffy Auto for its good rating on Google. Tom told me the diagnosis is free. I couldnt believe him first, thinking that compared to the $160, its too good to be true. But he kept his words. We paid a very reasonable price for replacing a sensor and didnt have to pay for the diagnosis!

I called today about brakes for a Mazda. It was Saturday around 8 am. The person answering the phone was abrupt, if now downright rude. I was told if I wanted them to look at it to get there quick since they were closing at noon. The website says 2pm. I really got the feeling they really didnt want my business. Took the car to Firestone on Hilluard Rome Rd. It will be finished today. They took the time to go over all options.

I couldnt be happier with my service! Was able to get my oil changed and tire fixed within a half hour. Tom took the time to explain issues with my vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone take their vehicle here!

Thank goodness this place went out of business had truck in there last week told me it was going to be $1,500 to fix the driver side shock took it to the actual dealership and it was a $12 steering link glad this rip-off is finally closed

Pricing was competitive for the oil change I had done. Much better pricing than most auto care stores.

I have a 15-year old car and the muffler pipe is disconnected. The quotations from other 2 stores are both more than 550 bucks for a life time warranty new muffler set. It only took Tom (the owner) less than an hour to cut the rusted parts and weld two section together, for only 135 bucks.I strongly recommend this store because Tom knows how to do the job right and efficiently, also hes a fair person.

Tom has predatory practices and this service center does shoddy work. He does not stand by his work and is absolutely rude. Tuffys corporate office tried to mediate our situation and Tom refused to do anything. This isnt the first bad review and Im sure it wont be the last. Please get everything in writing and if you dont know much about cars, you are vulnerable to poor workmanship which might cost you more money in the long run. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP!!!!

I pulled up they meet me outside fixed my tire in less 5 minutees !! It was awesome ! Nice respectful people who do right by the customer !! Highly recommend !!

Real pros at this Tuffy. Ive had not one but two great experiences there at the Cemetery road location. They went above and beyond what they had to do. Highley recommend these guys and will continue to go there in the future.

During a thunderstorm the arm on my windshield wiper stopped working so frantically I stopped by TuffyAnd within minutes they had it fixed. Great customer service!!

Nice owner, got my oil changed. Quick and easy

We had a clutch fixed here about a year ago. This week transmission is grinding. Took it to another shop (in Hilliard) who said there were missing bolts and the last mechanic who touched it should fix it free of charge, and offered to allow Tuffys owner to come over and take a look. Tuffy refused to do so, and brought up the no warranty on clutches policy which is in place due to the potential for clutch misuse. So I told him what I had been told, which was that clutch misuse could not have caused the problem. His reply was that we were welcome to have it towed to his shop. Which would obviously cost $150 both ways should he decide not to do the right thing. The repair will cost around $1000. Im sure Tuffy is competent, but everyone makes mistakes and clearly they are not willing to stand behind their work.

Seems like a place of grumpy old men but theyre very nice and very helpful. Its rare but if they cant help you theyll offer a few suggestions of places. You can trust the work and the price, I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for when it comes to working on your car. They also have alot of warranties that I dont think alot of places do, for little to no cost. For the most part they are pretty quick to get you out of there too, they know you have a life so thats REALLY nice!

Had a bad experience with this service center. My power window was out and the person in charge was not helpful and did not seem to want my business. Would not recommend this place.

I cant recommend this place enough. Ive been here twice, once to have my brakes fixed and once to have them fix a a strange noise my car was making. To replace both rear drums and both front calipers they gave me a fair price and had my car fixed by the end of the day, they even stayed open a 10-15 minutes late for me to come pick it up. The strange noise turned out to be a loose part, which they diagnosed and fixed in 1.5 hours for free.
