I worked with Chris Fosnaugh on the purchase of my Vitaspa Envie hot tub. I took delivery on 8/26/21. First thing I noticed presale as I battered him with questions, is that his product knowledge shines through. He doesnt try any pushy sales tactics. After the sale he didnt just disappear. He had me call him upon delivery and walked me through application of the chemicals. I love the tub and would do business with Agean and Chris again.

I bought a hot tub from here about 5 or 6 years ago, and the experience then was great as well as now. Recently, I ran into an issue with a thumping noise coming from my spa, I was able to go into the showroom and speak to a couple guys, and they helped me troubleshoot my issue and get it resolved quickly. I don’t remember both gentlemen’s names, but I did have to call and talk to Fos over the phone a couple times. Great people with quick and helpful service, I would certainly recommend them.

I looked all over Central Ohio for a company that could fulfill every function of installing a steam shower in my house and landed on Agean. Fos is amazing! Very knowledgeable and was able to make our hot tub dreams come true! He was also able to recommend a great electrician for hot tub set up, and their store was able to get us our tub so quickly, whereas others predicted a 3-6month delivery time! Couldn’t be happier!

I’d been wanting a hot tub for over a year and finally went to visit Agean for an education on available spa products. The gentleman who talked to me and my sister was very knowledgeable and answered all questions thoroughly. They had quite a few of the most popular spas available for delivery right away, and some that were in the process of being built. My sister and I both ended up buying one that day! My spa was delivered in about 2 weeks - which was a month ahead of what I expected! Agean gave me a starter box with maintenance supplies, which was really nice because I’m new to this world of balancing the health of hot tub water.

I did quite a bit of research, and searched high and low for the right spa for my needs. I’m pretty sure we hit every show room in the Columbus area. When we went into Agean, we worked with Jeff Roy, and the service was exceptional. This was for a spa at my own house and it was a pretty straightforward delivery and install right to my backyard. Jeff actually stopped by to make sure everything went OK and did a great job following up after the install, which in my opinion was above and beyond.Fast forward a couple weeks. I am also a general contractor and happened to be working with a customer in need of a spa. I let them know how great Jeff was to work with and how happy we were with our Vita spa. Now this one was quite a complicated install because the hot tub was actually going in a bonus room above the garage. We had to set up a crane service, get it into a rear window, and I was the person who had to coordinate everything for the customer. Jeff had multiple trips out to the job and again went above and beyond to make sure the customer was happy and everything went smoothly. We could not have done this project without him.I am extremely grateful to have a company like Agean to work with, especially with the help of a sales person like Jeff Roy to see things through. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Great experience working with Agean on a new hot tub purchase. Helpful and knowledgeable staff explained the differences in how hot tubs are manufactured in order to help me better make an educated decision on what spa would best meet my needs. They have also done remarkably well keeping their supply chain working considering the increased demand for personal spas during COVID. They were even able to deliver my hot tub a month ahead of schedule.

I have never received better customer service than I have from Agean. The staff is so nice, knowledgeable and very professional. I am so glad I bought my new hot tub from them and cant recommend them enough

Agean was an excellent choice in our bathroom shower flooring in 2017. The quality, color, & value so impressed us we are using similar color for our extra long deep tub on the second bathroom remodel!

First of all, I want to make sure it is known that this review is not about the quality of work done for me as it never made it that far. Four weeks ago, I stopped into the showroom and Matthew helped me select a shower door. I was told I would be contacted to measure the for the door in 2-3 days. Two weeks later, I stopped back in. Mike was there and he arranged for someone to come out on that day to measure. I was told they would have a quote back to me in 2-3 days. After the measurements, we decided on two options for the door and wanted both priced out. Today, two weeks after the measurement, I stopped into the showroom again. I was told that the quote should be back within an hour. This means they never actually sent it or they wouldnt have known that . I stated my dissatisfaction with the process to Matthew and he simply asked if I wanted my $1000 deposit back. No sorry we messed up or anything. I took the refund and will be taking my business elsewhere. -Dan Reed

We stopped into the store in Columbus on a whim just to look (having owned a hot tub before). I expected to purchase a new tub via an online company .... however, I was impressed with the level of customer service as well as the quality of the tub. Matthew and Mike were great and answered all our questions. Tub was delivered yesterday and we’ve had a couple of questions since and have been met with a quick and knowledgeable responses. Would recommend Agean for anyone looking to buy a spa!

Tiles have come loose. The contractors they use are not very good. If you are looking for a full bath remodel don’t use them. Their hot tubs may be ok but their contractors are subpar.

Matt was open, honest, and completely above board. Everything he shared checked out about what he carries and about what his competitors carry. We ended up buying from Agean.

We bought a swim spa from Agean last fall through Matthew. The spa is awesome...we are in it four or five times a week. We find it to be a great alternative to a swimming pool or a normal hot tub. Any question that we have gets answered immediately and we are sure that any problems would be handled as well. (There have not been any problems, yet). We would highly recommend Agean, Matthew and the Max spas.

We are using our Agean spa 4 to 5 times a week. Love the power of our spa. Agean has been great to help understand the maintenance, which is easier than we thought it would be. We continue to get all of our supplies from them, great quality and company!

Agean was our supplier of choice for two bathroom remodels. [Also was 25-30% LESS than two of the other home improvement stores,] The first order was of such high quality we returned for a second. Their cabinetry was of all wood construction with custom details of a 3 filler with a spice rack pull out (for medicine bottled) and upper cabinets without a floor that sit on the counter top so we can slide out our appliances on the counter. Our choices of wood finishes were extensive with each available in 4 wood types. We also selected a tub which accommodated a front skirt of tile, which totally moved the project to an upper look of luxury! The tub had a bonus of being the most comfortable tub we have ever relaxed in - the back angle is perfect and the arm rests are in place to increase soaking comfort. The tub is slightly tapered in at the drain end which allows for reduce water usage and fill time. We were going for a high end look, but ended up with superior quality bathroom that is functional, comfortable, durable and (best of all) beautiful!!! Remember though, these are built for you and may take several weeks for delivery.........it is well worth the wait as the products will last a lifetime. Thank you Matthew!!!!

Called Friday several times, no answer went to voicemail. Called Saturday for a service appointment as our heater has not been working correctly and tried a couple things they suggested last week. They answered Saturday and were too busy and said they would call later. No return call. It’s Monday, they are closed for the day and still no call back.

We really like our hot tub but have only been able to use it for 4 months. We bought the floor model and after the electrician wired it it stopped working. Folks at the Hilliard store have been very un helpful and blamed the electrian. Got the electrian back out and it was wired properly. Mike said the pump is bad. He said he would order a new one and would call us. After two weeks and no phone call my husband called the store and got Mike again. He said they had the pump and would call the next day. They never called so my husband called them. Spoke to the same Mike who could not tell him when they would be able to install the pump. Said they were very busy. I left a voicemail message for the salesperson Tom who sold us the tub. Waiting for a call back. Meanwhile my husband is speaking to Christian at their Cincinnati store to try to get some help. Stay tuned for an update.UPDATE: Saturday I got a called back from Tom. He said it was unusual to be treated this way by the folks at this store. He said he would contact the owner and call me back. Monday my husband was called by their service tech who came out right away. He disconnected the hot tub from the electric and tested the breaker. Turned out to be a defective breaker. He replaced it and we had to pay for a service call because it wasnt a warranty issue. We dont mind paying for this, I just wish they had sent a tech out two weeks ago.
