Best Diner around, Food is great. The owners are amazing, they run this diner the way a restaurant should be run, pre and post pandemic. Do yourself a favor and try them out.
From the moment me and my girlfriend walked in it was a welcoming place. A waitress cleaned a table for us and brought us our menus and drinks within minutes of sitting. Our food was delicious and affordable especially for the amount. Lastly, the owner was very nice and welcoming. He went to each table and greeted them introducing himself and making sure that our meal was a delight. Would definitely recommend to any of my friends who come back to Ohio with me!
We had a wonderful first experience at Olympic Diner! The owners, Orion and Marcella, were so genuinely kind and accommodating, making an effort to talk to every customer - they know most of them! This place has a family atmosphere that is full of regulars - we will definitely be going back!
I went in there for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend. This place is great. It is a classic mom and pop restaurant. There is a real sense of family. The place is bright and clean. The food portions are generous and tastes delicious. I chose to get gyro meat on a breakfast bowl, and I cant say enough good about it. There is a definite Greek presence in the menu selections, but it isnt all Greek food. The prices are excellent for what you get. I would recommend this place, and suggest you bring your appetite with you.
A hole in the wall diner that is sure to please! We stumbled across this gem while traveling through Columbus looking for a breakfast spot. The staff was super friendly and happy. The owners introduced themselves and thanked us for stopping. The food was great, with huge servings and priced right!
This is a wonderful restaurant in Hilliard. The food is always good, the staff is pleasant and very efficient. We have been visiting in the area for the past few months and have been here several times for breakfast and lunch. My husband always gets a gyro and he lives them! The owner comes by the table personally to check on the guests. I will miss this place until we return next summer!
I really like this place. I’ve been many times and service and food are always wonderful. Today is the first time the service was not so great. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t want one bad service to spoil the other great things about them. I had a male server today and he seemed to be more concerned about what was on his phone than what was going on in the dining room. He actually came to my table to take my order still engaged in conversation….then said goodbye and asked me if I was ready. I am…are you? Not a good look my friend. He took my order then I didn’t see him for a while…..anywhere. I wondered if the food that I saw ready in the pass was mine getting cold while he was off doing whatever.He brought me my food and bill at the same time and never returned. I get it, bring the bill…save time. I don’t particularly care for that time saver as a guest, but not the end of the world.Occasionally I would look up and see him off to the side where the credit cards are rung up “ doing something on his phone” and just thought to myself that someone needs to teach him how to be a waiter. I know it’s not some fancy Michelin-star restaurant, but common basic service shouldn’t be ignored.I finally got up and headed to go pay and he saw and met me. He was pleasant enough, not a big personality, but not a deal breaker by any stretch so long as you’re not rude (which he was not), as I stated earlier he was pleasant. I tipped normally because I didn’t know if his service was due to inexperience and lack of knowledge (which would not totally be his fault), even if in my mind some things should be common sense. But what’s common sense to me may not be to others.I will continue to frequent them because they are typically just wonderful. I hope this post helps out educationally if nothing else to the restaurant.
Breakfast is always good, they give you big cups for your drinks. Servers are great and the sausage links are the best I’ve ever had before!!! If you haven’t been here I would definitely recommend it!
I absolutely love this place, the staff, the owners and the food is great. I eat here at least once every weekend if not twice. Breakfast is the best but all other food is amazing too. ♥️

Arrived around 10:30 Sunday morning for a late breakfast. Was looking forward to it. Had heard good things about it. They were very busy. We were told 15-20 minute wait. Went outside to stand with others who were waiting. After about 30 minutes I went in to check on our table. A couple that came in a few minutes before I went in were being seated. I asked if people were reserving a table online and was told dont have time for that. I looked and saw two other tables that had arrived after us. Told me we would have the next table.New customers are not as important as regulars. Will not return.
The place definitely deserves more than 5 stars!! Amazing food and very friendly owners and staff. We loved having breakfast here and meeting the owners. Breakfast was so good that we came back for dinner. So good!! Food is all homemade and so delicious!! A definite new favorite for us :-)
My familys favorite place to eat especially on Sundays, even though its busy. The owner checks in on you personally which really makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. We like the music they play. Perfect diner food, great portions and the prices are super reasonable.

We arrived around 10:30 on Sunday. They were busy. We were given a beeper to alert us our table was ready. Wait time 15-20 minutes. We waited 30 minutes. We were told twice we were next. 3 groups were seated before us that arrived much later than we did. 🤔
We loved this place. The pizza place next door would not let us eat inside. The owner of the diner invited us in since we were with little kids and it was cold. She let the kids eat their pizza from next door and brought them treats. The adults decided to eat there. GREAT food. We have been back several times and have found our local diner.A little kindness from the owner has spread to a very large family going there on a regular basis.

Still really nice people in Columbus(Hilliard). So best thing 2 do was pay it forward so I did,good feeling.Will b back nice lunch and dinner menu,have 2 try.

Food was great and super cheap, wait time wasnt long on a Sunday, and the staff was insanely friendly. I had my 1 year old with me and every staff member that passed us said hi to her which was super cute. We also had several people come over to say hi and ask how everything was. 10/10 would recommend
We went last Saturday for the first time, for breakfast. It was absolutely delicious! The service was great. We ended up going again on Sunday morning and it didnt disappoint. We found our new breakfast spot! Now, we just need to try dinner options.

I cant say enough good things about this place. We are from out of town and wanted to have breakfast from somewhere other than a chain restaurant. They were packed and they apologized to us for having to wait. The owner came out and thanked tables for coming in and also apologized. The food was delicious and the servings huge. We will be back every time we visit Columbus!!

This was only my second time going to the Olympic Diner and it was pretty good. I got Reuben sandwich and a bowl of chili. The Reuben was pretty good, but the 1000 Island dressing was on the side. I havent seen this before, unless you ask for it on the side. The chili was ok. It had a different flavor than other chilis I have tried. It was thicker, which I like. Watered down chili just isnt good. I never got a refill and our waitress only came back to collect our clean plates. Its a very mom and pop restaurant.CCW friendly
I definitely have to say this is one of the best places I ever eaten really really good food the cooks got down I order steak and eggs the steak was perfect so was my co worker dish the chicken breast plate dinner we are over the road drivers and we are definitely coming back great servers also.... definitely recommend it ..its 👌

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. We had a great experience. Wonderful customer service from the moment we walked in the door. Everyone Is so friendly and made us feel they appreciated our business. We visit our kids who are in columbus, periodically and have already decided this will become a regular stop for us. First time there but Id heard good things. Had a great meal for breakfast that was huge for very cheap. Good eggs and staff was friendly. Wiped down tables and had plastic dividers between them. Busy place on a Saturday morning but well worth it.
This is a great place! Awesome food-breakfast lunches and dinner. Large menu and everything Ive had is fantastic. Worth driving a mile north of 70 or west of 270. You wont regret it!

Food and service was good. Management not so great. They did not honor my Groupon that I had purchased during covid and was unable to use it due to them being closed so it expired. it said on the Groupon that it was still worth the value I paid until Jan 1 2026! They claimed because their contract was only for a year they werent going to honor it. Wont be going back to Olympic diner.

We got food here while passing through. It was breakfast time, and we ordered online for pickup at a future time. I got a call soon after placing the order, telling me that they did not have the buns for my burger. Yes, you can order a burger for breakfast here! She suggested cutting a sub roll in half and using that, and I agreed. “We’ll take care of you,” she said.Take care of us, they did! The food was *on time*, hot, delicious, and my burger patty was made to fit my sub roll! Very polite and efficient staff when I picked everything up. Great place, great food. Go here now!
