The people here are very friendly and welcoming, I am a woman who knew next to nothing about guns walking into this shop and I was honestly pretty nervous walking in. I walked out with a good beginner gun that I am confident to take to classes with. They talked me through what I wanted the gun for and what would fit best for my needs. Thanks to Chris and the nice tall man with tattoos(sorry I never caught your name). They made this a very easy and comfortable first gun buying experience.

Me and my partner both got our first gun here. I was told about this place by a friend and i wasnt disapointed. All my questions were answerd and everyone was very nice. And a week later got a call back that the back ground check went thru andboom jist like that i was abel to pick my gun up at the store and it take it home. It was very nice and fast. Owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. However his sun is extremely nice and about half of the employees are also nice but still not worth it to me. Prices are higher then average and dont really back there customers (no returns). I would say if you have to shop with them just know you will be treated like your stupid and disrespected by 1/2 the staff.

Didnt even go in as they have a sign saying I cannot enter without muzzling myself or sharing my personal medical information.Yes I have been living through these mandates that are not laws along with everyone else, they are unjust and your store went above and beyond the mandate in its application. I would expect this from a woke corporation but was surprised as this is the only gun shop Ive seen at this level of compliance.Your sign was above and beyond in that it was overt in demanding the PHYSICAL vaccination card. I believed you had 4 arrows pointing to physical card. Most stores are honor system. Either way.... we are well on our way to creating second class citizens out of those who believe they are free to make their own decisions and your shop is as complicit as any Ive encoutered.

Used to see them as a good gun shop until my brother and I were selling g some of our guns mind you nothing was wrong with them well taken care of and very lightly used selling to make room for diffeent ones, one of which was my ruger priscion rifle chambered in 6.5 creedmoor and I was selling with a nice bipod with a under rail extention and they just so happen to have had the same gun and clambering on the wall without the bipod for 1400 bucks well the guy offered me 600 bucks which was the biggest slap in the face I get needing profit margin but to offer me less than half of what your going to sell it for.... I will not be going back here business lost

This is the best firearm shop in the area. They specialize in ARs, have a wide variety of firearms to choose from and plenty of stock. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient, especially during these times. David was polite, concise, very knowledgeable. They have a great selection but their prices are high in my opinion, I only buy stuff there if Im in a hurry and dont want to wait for something to ship to me. They really do have a great selection of quality AR parts and tools though. I try to order from Joe Bob Outfitters mostly, Im actually writing this while Im sitting in front of their shop on my way to buy a $10 AR308 muzzle brake crush washer, that same part is $3.50 on Joe Bobs Outfitters lol! I also just bought a Wheeler armorers block 2 days ago from them for $49.99 on Joe Bobs its $39.95, on midway its $29.95, thats the reason for the low score.

Took my dad to go buy a gun there. Was offer ammo didn’t think my dad needed at the moment, called them back an hour later and ask if I can still buy it and was told no. Won’t buy there again. Couldn’t even shell out a box of ammo for the gun I bought there because I didn’t buy it when I bought the gun for my dad. So dissatisfied, if it was possible to return I would. Money is no object when it comes to my dad.

The folks at Oregon Arms and Ammunition are very knowledgeable and service oriented. They are not pushy sales people and they offer great advice. I have had FFL transfers done here and brought a friend to buy his first firearm and they were great with him. I will keep coming back for my regular gun related needs in the future. These guys are really great. I was unable to go into the store due to recent surgery and they took care of everything curbside even though they dont normally offer this service. Their prices are very fair and they do everything they say theyre going to do. I couldnt be happier with them!

This place is tucked away right off a main street. You have to take a side street and venture into a side segment to get to this business.Plenty of parking spots. This place is hard to see off the street.They had a good selection of weapons and the pricing is reasonable.Staff was helpful and the location is practicing social distancing.

This is the place to buy, especially if you arent sure exactly what suits you best. The staff are pros- knowledgeable, earnest and patient. Theres no people seem to like this or I guess this will work for you; they listen, they have an encyclopedic knowledge of their inventory and they ensure that youll leave comfortable with your decision!

Once they have your money they wont give it back. The store policy is if you have a return you get store credit. I heard rumors from local friends I should have took their advice. You want to support your local gun dealers but this place will drive you crazy with the store policy. I am putting this review up over $30

Perfect experience: hospitality, genuine interest to help and patience of a monk! I came in just moving from another State with the intent to purchase a SilCo can. The staff were knowledgeable and helped to guide me on my purchase. I am a very specific customer and while I had a lot of questions and requests they were patient all the way. I ended up getting 2 CANS! I will definitely go back to support their business.

Be Careful when shopping here. I bought a weapon and they stole the Magazines from the Box. I trusted these guys and they pulled a fast one. I will never shop there. This people are thieves. I gave them 1 star because the system will not let me post without a rating.

I went in here to buy my first gun. The guys behind the counter were very kind and helped me figure out what to get and how to get started with it. Their stock was really low when I went in, so not much to choose from, but that’s because people have been buying guns like crazy lately. Normally they’d have a wide selection of handguns available.

Relaxed atmosphere, staff is friendly but maybe not the most talkative. They probably assume most customers don’t want to be hard-sold. Bought a nice AR and some accessories. Will continue coming in for ammo, they have the best brick-and-mortar ammo prices in town, and lots in stock.

Great on-hand selection on firearms and parts. Prices and customer service are the reason for 3 stars. I understand that they are not an online store and have overhead but paying more than double for some stuff and not much eagerness to interact with customers makes it hard to support this local business. I still recommend checking them out. Maybe wait for the big sales. Talk to Tony as he seems to be the most approachable and personable.

I went there about an hour before closing to buy one gun they had advertised and ended up getting 2 guns. Had to come back the next day as I expected due to long waits on background checks, not OAAs falt. Experience was very good. I would buy from them again.

Read a review about how Oregon Arms prices are too high. I dont agree at all. I recently watched a YouTube video where a guy purchased the same Springfield .45 I did and was super happy that he only paid $989. I paid $869. Im very happy with my purchase and have always done business with Oregon Arms and always will. BTW purchased the Springfield 1911 A1 LOADED. Beautiful pistol.

I am a total novice as far as the world of firearms, so when I recently decided to buy a hand gun I spent the last couple months doing quite a bit of research online as well as visiting several of the local shops in the Beaverton, Tigard and HIllsboro areas to compare prices and find the best place to purchase my first gun. This was the last place that me and a good buddy of mine visited during our search and was, by far the best one in my opinion. Upon entering the establishment we received a friendly greeting and I noticed right away that they had a vast selection to chose from. Unfortunately I cant remember the name of the fella who helped me out while I was there but he did a great job at making us feel welcome. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He wasnt pushy and didnt try to sell me on one particular make or model, yet he offered some friendly suggestions as well as insight. Both of the 2 guns that I was interested in were in stock and to say they were priced competitively would be an understatement, my buddy, who has been a long-time connoisseur of all firearms, was actually rather surprised at how well things were priced at this shop. The pistol I ended up buying was about $170 cheaper than anywhere else I had seen it online or in person. I walked out of there, not only with my first gun, but with a great feeling about the purchase as well as the experience. If you are in the market to buy a firearm or if you are a new shooter like myself, it is always good to shop around, but do yourself a favor and check these guys out, its a good local business to support, I would highly recommend them to anybody, and I could not be happier with my purchase. I will be returning in the near future to pick up the other pistol that I was looking at. 5/5 Stars

Was shopping for a new clip for my firearm it was miss priced and they would not honor the price on the package even though the guys walked me over to where they were and seen the price himself. Customer service was lacking needless to say. Will not return!!

I went to 4 gun stores on the west side of town and this was the best. I was helped by Matt who was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with. The store is clean and very well stocked with a MUCH better selection of ARs and components than the other stores. I was tired of unsubstantiated conflicting opinions being pushed on me at the other stores but Matt listened to what I was looking for and made a lot of very good recommendations and solutions. I have a couple more stores to visit before I have visited all stores in the Portland area but so far this was the best experience. The prices also seemed to be better.Update 1 year later. Went in for a tactical shotgun and had the same experience. Great place

These guys are really good at what they do. Its a father and son shop from what I know. I recently purchased an AR-15 from them. Great service, great selection. Plus these guys know any questions you might have. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to buy an assault rifle or any hand gun!

From my first visit when they first opened to now, always a pleasure. Matt even stayed after hours for me when I was stuck in traffic a few years back to buy a G34 they were holding for me. Even that, gun shops dont hold guns for anyone! Of course, it helped he remembered me. I go in, and rarely leave without a purchase. Recently went in for a buffer assembly, and was sold a pistol version. My fault just as much as theirs. Return was hassle free with several apologies from Tony. When I call, both Matt and Tony seem to know who I am from my voice and treat me like a valued customer. Ive spent a bit in their store, and will continue to do so.

As soon as I walked in a guy walked into the back room. then some other guy came out. he wasnt friendly. I ask him what gun would be a good gun for just shooting practice. he was like um the 1911s are fun I told him thanks have a good day 2 times as I walked out . he didnt say anything. I know he heard me, he looked right at me. anyways not didnt like it. felt really judged not going back.

As a Veteran I can honesty say I couldnt have chosen a better place to purchase my first civilian handgun here. I went back 3 days later to look for my second. Amazing place. Really is. Able to strike up a conversation with both sales members I spoke to. Ended up purchasing an XD-s 9mm 3.3. Told them what I was looking for. They went through a few firearms, answered all the questions I had with no issue. Will most likely be purchasing another pistol or 2 from them. Only downside is they didnt have any M1s. Still giving them 5 stars just because those are hard to come by anyway. As for the actual transaction, maybe 15 minutes at most. I took a few of their cards with me just in case anyone asks.

Buddy and I went in there like we always do ( Ive always bought parts and ammo from them without any problems) I bought some parts for my AR build and asked if I could return them if it didnt work out. He said yeah no problem! I heard him and my buddy did as well. Well I got some wrong parts and decided I wanted to go a different direction with the build anyways and I brought them back clean/ unopened / and with the receipt the very next day. Well the guy failed to mention they dont do returns for cash, only gift cards. Or I can swap the items but they didnt Carry the right parts. He also said that he explained theyre return policy ( didnt happen) So instead of saying hey man you shop here allot and you misunderstood me we can do it this one time. He decided to lie say he told me I could exchange (he didnt) them. Pretty misleading and really put a sour taste in my mouth that they would rather lose multiple loyal costumers (me and everyone I know that shops there and buys thousands of rounds of ammo every year) than just make the common sense exception, give me my money back and hang theyre still brand new parts up on the wall. I kept as cool as I could, gave them multiple chances to fix it, and walked out with my $270 gift card that I promptly sold for $200 cause I would rather lose $70Then shop there again. Its pretty bad when me and the person I was with both heard the employee clear as Day say I could return the items no problem and they still wouldnt budge. Needless to say they lost allot of buissness over that one. Hope it was worth it.

I don’t know if he was the manager but i went to cop a rifle and had the best experience learning and ultimately purchasing my S&W M&P15T with the help of a older gentlemen and younger gentlemen for my new pistol i will end up getting here, both of gave me an experience worth reviewing.

As far as selection goes for a LGS I would give them a 5, pricing I would give them about a 3 since everything is retail. Experience would be a 0.First impressions upon walk in was good i was greeted by an older gent with glasses, well organized stock, decent pricing, and what seems like good selection... so far off to a good start. But as soon as I was done doing my walk around i came up to the used counter and started to look at some of the firearms, I was really interested in the used CZ75BD (hopefully they remember me now) and when I was done with the superficial inspection I asked to look at the internals. While the gun was still in my hand, the gent started to reach for the gun as if to quickly take it away, then said no. At that point his hands were 90% of the distance close to me and I just handed the pistol over. I thanked then for their time and left.I ANY LGS refuses to show you the internals of used firearm that is an immediate red flag and should be avoided. I can understand the tire kickers must piss them off especially in the age of online firearms shopping but come on... Ill digress, and offer them 2 stars as a collective score for selection and the initial first impression. Unfortunately, the last impression is where you lost me. Hope for a response and well see what happens.

Went in today to look around. Two things happened; I received excellent advice with great conversation without any pressure. Then, I bought a Springfield Xd. These guys are great, knowledgeable and focused on their customers. Pricing is in line or better than I have seen around town and I highly recommend these guys. My next purchase WILL be from them.

Prices are a little high but the customer service is superb and very knowledgeable. I came in during my first ar build awhile ago and asked some of the sales people questions and what parts would be best for my build they answered all my questions above and beyond. So even though the prices are high I just look at it as I’m paying alittle more for the customer service. Would definitely recommend Atleast a stop by if you like guns or are interested in purchasing your first gun.

The owner will literally reply calling people liars that give them a bad review!My Experience: When I walked in, I was greeted by a younger man with glasses. He then proceeded to follow me to every point of the store that I walked to. Usually just standing silently. The shop was empty (no surprise there) yet he would stand right next to me staring at me while I browsed. Made me very uncomfortable, and when I tried to start a conversation, he would just shoot it down. When I asked about the prices of ar15s in the shop compared to one that I got on sale at another great shop, he proceeded to tell me that what I bought was total junk in his words and that the owner just really wanted to get rid of it. Cant believe these guys are still open. Their customer service is very simmilar to the service you may have received or heard about from Keiths sporting goods. Avoid this shop if you need info or advice on a purchase. But if you need some ammo or you know what you want to buy I guess its alright for a quick stop.Great selection of firearms, however very arrogant. Every question I asked was answered with a know it all type of response, and not only that but if you asked any opinionated questions, hell give it to you like you asked the wrong question.

I purchased 3 rifles from these guys and never thought I was getting a bad deal.Short story: When I purchased my M1A from these guys I fact checked the MSRP on the rifle they listed and it was lower than what was going MSRP by Springfield for that specific model. The guys that run this place are sweet as heck, they helped me purchase my first pistol and it it only took about 30 minutes. They were very kind and stayed open a little later so we could fill out all the paper work.

I have been doing business with them for 4 years and wont go to a different shop anymore. They know me by 1st name and treat me as a valued guest every time I walk through the door. They have made me a permanent customer and a friend out of me. I have never once walked out of their store disappointed. They specialize in a very selective firearms selection so please know that when you enter. Matt, Tony, and Mark are all good knowledgeable people. I have not been given poor advice yet after 4 years.Matt will order just about anything you want under the darn sun too. Trust me, he ordered me a Barrett MRAD and had it for me in about 2 weeks brand new. Not to mention countless ARs, shotguns, and a couple pistols.I strongly encourage you to at least stop in OAA when youre shopping and make up your own mind. It was my experience that some of the sales people here might be racist. I would not recommend shopping here if you are against oppression. Not only did the sales person ignore us, he proceeded to taunt us, and stare at us in very vile way...it was very sad because I was planning on purchasing a really neat M1 Carbine they had stocked on the wall...Bottom line: Skip this place, go a couple of extra miles further into Hillsboro and visit the guys down at MK Tactical. Those guys are solid.

I wish there were 2.5 stars but....Went in claiming I was a total novice (Which I very much am) but ended up leaving feeling I knew about the same as when I walked in. Didnt get the feeling like I was worth the time if I didnt know what I was talking about. Ended up buying my AR someplace else who spent a ton of time with me....Potential customer service is what its all about.

I went to check out AR n a Glock the guy was very helpful n nice, planning to go back and buy the two gun.

Sadly another gun shop that flat out told me that they would not follow the law (ORS 166.412) and would allow my purchase to be delayed as long as the State Police wanted to delay it, regardless that it is legal to release it after 3 days if they do not get an OSP denial by the end of the next business day. Needless to say, they didnt get my business, nor that of my co-workers. Its like business owners dont want to make money and obey the law.
