I bought a rotisserie chicken in this supermarket, the chicken came with two big nails in it, as a result three of my teeth were broken.This Shoprite sent me to complain with Perdue, they asked me to send them the nails, big mistake that I sent them the nails.Now anybody is responsable for it, I did not receive not even the price I paid for the chicken I did not eat after been impacted.Until now, I still suffering from my teeth, Perdue nor Shoprite have done anything at all.Please be careful buying chicken there, if something happen to you, nobody will respond you.

I rarely get the opportunity to go to this Shop Rite, but I just happened to get a ride and I got to purchase items thats NOT at my local store. I was impressed. The Store was larger and less congested and the cashier was very helpful. I Like THIS One.

Great prices, good inventory, deli workers are always nice. Use to have rude cashiers but the new cashiers are way nicer and helpful. Been coming here for over 10 years.

I always liked this Shoprite. Even though I moved out of the area I like to stop by. Nice and spacious. They truly have everything I need and want.

I love shopping here. I know where to find everything I need and if I dont, the markers are extremely helpful.Also, the self check out lanes are the best. Whenever theres an issue, theres no wait time for a manager to assist as they are always near by.

I Bought some fish in Shop rite last Friday I ask the man to clean the fish when I got home the fish was not scaled so I took it back and he scale the fish for me. I went home again just to find out that the fish wasnt cleanrd at all. I was not satisfied at all especially paying $6.99 a pound

As far the store it is clean there is fresh produce and the selection of food and price are great. What upsets me is the lack of customer service the un welcoming feeling and the bad attitude these cashiers are displaying towards the customers is appalling. They never say thank you. Are always mad like the customer is inconveniencing them by checking out at there line. Truthfully need better workers people who would appreciate and know how to treat the public. ALL THOSE NASTY ATTITUDE SNOBBY CASHIERS KNOW WHO THEY ARE. The boss should send undercover bosses to see how bad it feels.

Has some really good deals. However watch the day you shop. I was going early Sat morning and shelves including sell items were lacking. Self checkout is spacious and the attendant always present. Hear that Walmart 😆 The staff is very friendly especially since this location is in the north☺️

Today this Shoprite was overpriced not the mention the cashier was steady flirting with my husband. to the point we got tissue bleach & laundry liquid free not to have the police called on me I just contacted the manager I guess it was to late because. Against. PLEASE GET YOUR OWN SPOUSE!!!

Store is well stocked and cleanCashiers are very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Only con is lines can be a bit long at times and the parking lot is too small making it hard to find parking. I would definitely shop here again.

It was so peaceful there, unlike the one in Newark. I went early but even when its crowded youre out quickly. And the cashier was superb.

My ShopRite. The absolute best everything that we need is there all the fruits and vegetables are Fresh Bakery is also the best.Pharmacy is great . deli is spectacular. Parking is 👍 good.after years of going here I have never once experienced a rude or unprofessional cashier. They are all a great group of people. Keep up the good work. Thats how you keep us faithful customers.

Horrible, the Pharmacist was very unprofessional, I left without and blood pressure medication, they never ran my insurance or offer to give me enough medication to get me through the weekend until we could get it straight with the insurance company, Walgreens or CVS would have gave me enough medication. I have paid for 3 pills to get me through the weekend before, the Pharmacist new the important of a patient to get their blood medication. I will be transferring my Rx to Walgreens or CVS. Never again at Shoprite of Hillside

A good selection of products, the food is always fresh. There are many varieties of hot and cold buffets to take food with you. But the only problem is the parking lot is always packed.

I love this store! Excellent variety of health food. Veggies always fresh. Beautiful plants and flowers on sale. Produce, and meat and fish always on point. This store is huge!

Ive been shopping at hillside ShopRite for years my mother shopped there in the 70s its a generational thing never had a issue with this store until now,the customer service is horrible all except a few, Paul is always nice friendly the girls from the old Pathmark on Lyons avenue always nice,the original staff supervisor for the cashier need a vacation asap or needs to be replaced very unprofessional it seems like they dont like there job and its showing all over there face, produced department unfriendly, unhelpful,so disgusted with the bad behavior lost a good customer just done.🤔

Quick and easy convenient shopping

Needed to do some food shopping I screamed on Google and they gave the time of 1:00am for closing time. When I hot there the store was like very quiet. Then message to all in the store that they would be closing in 1 hour. I arrived at 8:45 pm and they stated they were closing at 10:00 pm I was rush the deli was closed. So I just stayed there until they were closed. And took my time. They have to do better with informing early closuresDue to pandemic

It was okay I dont care to much for the new cash check out it put people out of work

The produce department should more appealing to the customer. The bakery is also lacking variety. Should be more like other Shoprites. Such as Union and Woodbridge.

Umm not a favorite, Union is definitely better and its right up the road. Its so dark and dingy. They really need to remodel this location. I went to the self checkout, had to get out there. BUT! I will admit that when I needed help the person in charge of self checkout was right on it. She was very professional. Also I witnessed a floor person helping an elderly person, with no additude. He also was nice and professional. So its not the people its just the building. UPGRADE, UPDATE. Please fix the store!

Big store a lot of products and short lines

This Shoprite has variety and items I cant find in other stores. The self Checkout lines run smoothly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I get a type of bar soap here that I cant find in other stores around Hillside. This place is like a hidden gem off of RT 22. Check this Shoprite out.

Most unorganized shoprite I been to.Always a wait on the deli and to pay.Empty shelves. No price on some items.

Deli puts out expired prepacked meats and cheeses. They dont longer take orders.I just bought on Jan 23 ham says good thru Jan 25 2021 absolutely expired it was smelly and GREEN slices of ham.Disgusting and unhealthy.

Nice and clean place to shop, some cashiers/ workers could be a little more friendly, rather than act like you are bothering them, but most are very nice, Sunny in the fish/ Seafood 🦞 Dept. is always nice and polite and really to help, Mr. Johnson is great, always with a smile and a quick hello, I enjoy shopping there, I usually do it before going to work, so store is always clean, stocked and not crowded, good prices and variety, love this store been going there for over 20 years, thank you Mr. Johnson

They have recently added 4 self checkout registers but they are not open when they are needed the most. The lines always move super slow and more than often there are not enough registers open!!!!!

It was my first time at the ShopRite in Hillside and I must say I enjoyed my shopping experience. Ive been to many ShopRite but I love the way this ShopRite is sectioned off and I love that it has a bigger variety of items that other locations do not have.

I havent shopped there in a year. I will definitely be back.

Every register needs to be open everyday in this location! Its the hood market cause it surrounds multiple towns, its actually a neighborhood institution! This store shouldve been what the rt22 union or newark stores are now!

Stopped in for a quick dinner purchase. Fully stocked, staff was polite. I went to self checkout; there was a short wait to checkout.

ShopRite of Hillside is my choice to go for a great shopping experience. I am never disappointed when I go there. Their sale items are always accessible. The cashiers are very friendly and the lines are not long. Their parking lot is high and the spaces are adequate. It is a place where you can enjoy your shopping experience.

ShopRite is doing there thing. Store is clean, they make sure you get in & out. Place is clean. Lines might be long, but they move the lines pretty fast. It isnt that long at all.

The customer service at this location is excellent, but some of the customers (shoppers) are inconsiderate, rude and lazy, e.g., leaving shopping carts all over the parking lot. They could care less UNTIL its their car thats been damaged by a shopping cart. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🙄😐😑
