We came in from out of town and needed help putting on a new seat and fixing a tire. The staff were sooooo helpful and even put on a seat I bought elsewhere. They even helped us ensure our rack was on right. I highly recommend!

Chain kept falling off on my knock-around island cruiser bike. The shop was busy, but they got it adjusted quickly and for only a small shop fee. Some places probably would have sold me a new chain and charged more. Seems like a great place. I will be back.

They sell high end bikes. I have 2 bikes given to me that are not high end. Mongoose and Trek. Fixed one of mine in less than 8 hours. Will take my 25 year old bike on Monday. Great people. Great service. Doesn’t matter if u have a high end or not. Will use their services for as long as I live on island.

I have been there many times for bike parts and repairs. They always answer my questions and help on repairs turnaround is quick! I will always and only go to the bike doctor for anything bike related! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Called ahead for a repair on my rear wheel and Andrew, the mechanic, said come on up. I was hoping to get it fixed on the spot and luckily they werent that busy. He fixed it in a snap and as I was checking out I saw a smartphone holder that would be great when using your phone as a map. The one I had didnt work very well and Andrew even mounted it for me. I know small businesses can get busy at times but if your understanding and work with the staff shops like this one can be a great asset! Highly recommend for fixes and bike accessories. Open on Memorial Day!

We showed up for a week long vacation with bike that had a very badly bent rim unbeknownst to us. We randomly picked the Bike Doctor because it was close and it was the best decision we could have made. The rim was way beyond repair so he rented us a hybrid bike. My girlfriend instantly fell in love with the bike and we rode further than we ever and had more fun on a bike than we have ever had. Thanks for the amazing service and opening our eyes to style of bike. The only drawback is now I have to go buy her hybrid.

Brought my Elipitigo in after having issues with the shifter. Chris went above and beyond to try and repair it and then to find a new shifter. Ultimately we had to order the shifter. Once received the new shifter was installed in record time and at a more than a reasonable price. Thank you so much for allowing me to get GOing again.

Store is well put together with a good service. They dont try to oversell and give you other options for your bike problems. They seem to be very honest specially Andrew who took care of our bike pedal.

Great store with helpful folks. Pulled in with flat tires on my wife’s bike and the friendly guy at the counter said to bring it in. He filled up the tires (no charge) and we were in our way. Store had some great stuff and if I were looking for anything bike related, this is where I’d go. Many thanks to the Bike Doctor.

I needed to replace the tube on the rear wheel of my road bike. I received immediate service, as did the other two customers there at the same time. Customers remain outside the store and the employees all wore masks.

Matthew helped us with our purchase of new bikes. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we were looking for and needed. Would definitely recommend The Bike Doctor and plan on using them for rentals when family comes to visit.

My wife and I arrived in Hilton Head for a 10 day vacation with our bikes. We love riding on the beach and on the numerous bike paths on the island. Due to my stupidity when leaving our home in Virginia my wifes bike was damaged, but not discovered until we arrived. A quick call to the Bike Doctor and 30 minutes later we were at the store at 31 New Orleans. Shawn, Andrew and James were so extremely helpful! Shawn fixed the bike using his ingenuity and some used parts, Andrew inspected it and James offered encouragement. What a team! They have put our vacation back on track. At 11:00 I was rear ended by a fellow biker resulting in a bent wheel. On the recommendation of a neighbor, I called Bike Doctor. Maria said to bring the wheel over but they might be able to fix it right away. We were met by Andrew who quickly assessed the damage. He had another slightly used wheel that fit my bike and made the necessary adjustments on the spot. We were out the door by 1:15 (and that included a lunch break at home after the mishap.) Great job, Andrew. Thank you.

Stopped in with a broken pedal. The staff jumped right on it and replaced my pedals and checked my tire pressure. Bought a new seat, and bell (they installed it) and a pair of glovesin addition to the pedals. Everything installed and out the door for a reasonable price (under $100) given it is in a highly tourist area. Great service and friendly staff - well done!!

I am originally from Dublin, Ireland and have traveled all over the world. Certainly know a great bike store from all my experiences both in the United States and travels around the world. Every time I went to the Bike Doctor was outstanding. Brought in my Cannondale for numerous repairs and the staff were so detailed in checking my bike in for repair. The Owner is great and certainly is a Great Leader. You can certainly see this in the way his staff treat their customers. If you are looking to buy, rent and get bikes repaired this is the place to go to. Never disappointed. I certainly will rate the bike doctor as excellent and give it five stars. A must visit if you are on Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, Savannah and Charleston. You wont be disappointed. I certainly will be returning in the near future.

Very capable and super helpful. All of the other shops near Seapines seem to be principally rental shops - even those that claim to offer other services. This shop is a true bike shop with staff that has expertise. If you want to purchase something or get a repair, this is the best option around (having tried the others).

We came here as my mom had a great experience with them at an event when she needed a quick repair. We showed up wanting to buy a basic beach cruiser on the spot. He was very busy and unhappy we were using up his time. If he just told us what the basic beach cruiser they used for rentals was and how much, when he could deliver and what we had for choice of color, we could have been in and out but instead he condescendingly explained it was not that simple and we could go take a look online and he was busy. We got in the car, called Road Fish Bike Shop, bought a bike over the phone and they delivered it to us the next day. Id like to think he was just having a bad day and was understaffed, but he lost our business and we wont be going back.

I had a flat tire at 5:10 pm and called and asked if they could repair. I expected they would tell me to bring bike in the morning and was delighted when I was told that if you bring it in now, I will do it for you tonight. By 6 pm my tire was changed and I was on my way home. AWESOME service!!!!

Every bike for the whole family has been purchased at the Bike Doctor. Great sales, competent service... just what the doctor ordered!

So they took my order on Saturday... Delivered them on Sunday. I paid for a week to wake up see they picked them up early. And now they wont answer the phone! I guess my plans are cancelled for my last day.

Seems folks are pleased with beach bike rentals from Bike Doctor. ALSO, if your road bike needs careful professional attention, I can recommend Andrew Jenkins as a first-class wrench. It took him only a few minutes to have the Ultegra gearing on my bike reset to the tolerances that Shimano had originally intended after a botched chain replacement by the shop where I bought the bike..

The guys in this shop were great. When I was visiting HHI they replaced my damaged tire immediately and were very helpful with the selection process. Now that I live on HHI, they will be by go to bike shop.
