If youre ever in coligny plaza make sure to stop in at the frozen moo. They have a HUGE variety of flavors of ice-cream. It takes you longer to figure out what you want vs eating it hahahaha

Excellent ice cream shop on Hilton Head with 96 flavors of ice cream. Yes you read that correctly 96 flavors and if what I had - cherry vanilla - was eny example they are all wonderful. I highly recommend it.

So. Many. Flavors. It took me a while to decide what ice cream to get because they have so many flavors! In addition to regular ice cream, they also offer low-sugar and sorbet options. I got the pralines n cream and Butterfinger, both with a vanilla ice cream base. Good, but I wish there were more Butterfinger and praline pieces mixed in to up the flavor, because both flavors really just tasted like good vanilla ice cream. Banana cream pudding tasted just like banana cream pudding! Very thick, almost chewy ice cream consistency. Would love to see the ice cream dish served in a non-Styrofoam container. Staff were not wearing masks.

Cute ice cream place, smart system with so many flavors: no getting in line, just walk around checking the flavors, find a staff person and order anywhere by the loooong counter.

Somewhat chaotic however every single employee was smiling and having a good time while working. There are sooooooo many flavors to choose from and definitely something for everyone. The ice cream was great and feel like the prices are reasonable considering the location and surrounding restaurant pricing. 100% will be back!

Wide variety of choices, 92 flavors! The workers had some attitude but there was a sweet girl willing to help a large family. Another girl probably heard my order but the guy beside her did not, I clearly asked for black raspberry but got black cherry. Was too scared to rebuttal but it was still good. Didnt wanna go again this week but it was okay.

As someone who cant medically have sugar, I was super excited for their no sugar added ice cream. I do no sugar added ice cream at home, no issue. Theirs is delicious and I enjoyed it.However...After eating it, I was out of commission for basically the rest of the night. The toilet was my lone companion. My stomach sounded like a rave, and felt like a mosh pit. Every few minutes there was an encore performance.Not sure what sugar substitute they used, but it was a hell of a night. If you must get it, have your secretary clear your schedule 👌

Excellent ice cream. Not very crowded on a Saturday night and while the “no line” was a bit confusing, we were promptly served. Chocolate Raspberry is highly recommended. Kids loved their chocolate fudge. This shop will be on the “repeat list” this week during our vacation.

Lol yes I love this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think I got the pirates plunder. It was chocolate and caramel. Super yummy! The price was reasonable. Quick service.

92 yes ninety two! Varieties of cold delicious dairy goodness. Every time we are in the area we make time and room to get a serving of the best dairy (they do have nondairy options) delights on the island. So many flavors, so little time.

I had the privilege of indulging in the German Chocolate ice cream. It is without doubt one of the best things any human can ever put in their mouth. I was beyond impressed with the flavor and texture of the ice cream. I will definitely be back. Its a must do on the island.

Great service and delicious ice cream. I love bubble gum ice cream and this did not disappoint. Ice cream was smooth, creamy and full of flavor. We also bought rainbow sherbet and a hot fudge sundae and it was all very good. Huge scoops of ice cream. Good value for the money.Will definitely go back.

The best comparison to this ice cream shop I can come up with, is an extremely over crowded dive bar, with a bunch of college kids, where you have to push and shove your way to the bar, just to get ignored for 30 minutes while trying to get a drink. Excusing the fact you have visible cash in hand, and that you could buy that same $6 beer for .25 cents at a grocery store... welcome to the frozen moo. What an absolute joke. There are literally signs that say no line and the continuous cycle of someone eventually shoving their way to the bar, and getting angry enough to shout at a bartender, is the only way people get served. Pass on this place. Better outlets to spend money in HH. I watched soft spoken patrons get ignored and passed over for well over 20 mins, and eventually someone will say this person has been standing here 20 minutes longer than me pretty sad.

Who wants ice cream??!!!! We did and oh my do the have ice cream. Their variety of ice creams was like walking in a delivery room of sweetness. The prices were fair and the team was awesome. There was no wait even with the place being full of ice cream lovers. My ice cream angel was nice and had patience because my hubby and I were looking around in amazement. This place is awesome and tasty. My brownie Sunday came with 3 LARGE scoops and you can have it in whatever flavor you wanted. Boy was I proud!! Hubby wanted butter pecan and these pecans welp.. they were birthed from a pecan goddess. They were large and tasted so good. Out overall experience was PERFECT. WE ARE GOING AGAIN BEFORE WE LEAVE THE ISLAND. ALSO THE TAKE THE ISLAND CERTIFICATES IF YOU GET SOME FROM HHGS.THANK YOU!!

Was not terribly impressed. The flavor I chose must have been there for a while because it had ice crystals all through it. There are better ice cream options in the same area, in my opinion.

Large variety of ice cream,sherbet and frozen yogurt. My husband went for a banana split. The portion was big. I actually wanted a waffle bowl however they only had waffle cones. I decided to get a banana split also since the did not have the waffle bowl. The ice cream and service was excellent! The only thing missing was the pecans or walnuts in syrup. They only had crushed peanuts.

Overall had a good experience here. We both got a double scoop in a cup and there were a lot of choices to choose from. Staff was super friendly and made some recommendations however, it did seem a little messy especially with different flavors of ice cream spilling into other containers. I was not offended by that but I can see other people not liking it. Would go back in the future. Last thing from me for the two of us it was $18 which in my opinion was high for what we got but we are paying for the service and optional flavors.

It was so good we went twice in our 7 day stay in Hilton Head. They even had dairy free options and a list of potential allergies.

Portions were very generous and the selection of flavors is second to none. The ice cream was good quality. They dont have a formal line, so you just have to sort of work your way to the front after looking over the flavors (there are soooooo many). Wait was reasonable even on a busy weekend afternoon. Definitely worth a visit.

Great ice cream but, I used my debt card and was charged a certain amount that was on the receipt I have but when I checked my bank statement I was charged $5.00 more. Looks as though the guy added himself a $5.00 tip without permission. Contacted them, talked to a manager. He said there was nothing they can do. So beware of being charged extra. Dishonest people.

First trip, had Apple Pie ice cream...very tasty. Second was Carrot Cake ice cream...really good, but a little sweet. Overall, very good.

Frozen Moo is a great ice cream place with more than 90 types of ice cream (at least according to the sign).There is no line per se... You just step up to the counter and whoever is available to serve you will do so.The ice cream varieties are many, with some being classic (chocolate, vanilla, etc), some modern (cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, moose tracks), and some far out (garbage (7 different candy bars in the ice cream), blue cookie monster, etc.)The ice cream is good, and reasonably priced for Hilton Head...its very similarly priced to Cold Stone Creamery, and more than Dairy Queen. The place is usually crowded, but becomes very very crowded around supper time and later evening.All in all, Id definitely go back again for more frozen Moo ice cream!

It started out great, the icecream shop was clean and the staff was friendly! It was awesome that they had 92 flavors! Me my boyfriend and our 2 kids all got a different flavor! On our ride back to the hotel my son got so sick, he threw up a lease 5 times in the car, and about 4 times at the hotel, and hasnt been able to eat for 9 hours, We spent four hours in the ER. He got food poisoning... He had the rocky road hope no one else has eaten that today!

Julia was the most helpful and friendly I’ve cream scooper. She is a multi sport athlete and can also juggle a part time job. What a smart person! I will definitely return when she is working so I know that my ice cream is of the utmost quality. Five stars!

We come here yearly. We are locals but we usually only come here once or twice a year. We just made our stop before the big crowds come. The ice cream is always yummy. No where to sit inside because of covid. That kind of makes things messy with little ones. Staff are friendly. Family of four with two singles and two doubles spent $20. Pricey sure is but you going for the experience of going to get ice cream I suppose. The only reason why I took one star off is because the inside needs updating. I know it’s all a part of the old time beachy feel. We all love that. But the freezers could be updated. If it’s not broke don’t fit it I get it. But when the freezer door is lift up and sounds and looks like it will fall off... let’s just donate these older ones and give the staff newer ones.

So many great flavors and staff did great job keeping up with busy crowd! If expecting a small scoop, dont go here! Servings are huge!

Someone said its the best ice cream in South Carolina but the place is sea pines with the bear out front had way better ice cream. this place also smelled like farts.

Their mask policy is discriminatory. Some people are refused service without a mask, while others are given service without masks. I will never return. I will not spend money in a place whose policy is not the same for everyone.

My husband and I visited and he was so impressed by the loaded black-cherry ice cream he took the kids back so he could get seconds.

Plenty of ice cream to choose from... 92 flavors to be exact, however its pretty expensive. It was 25 bucks for 3 double scoop ice creams, but most food seems to be expensive on this island so it was kinda to be expected.

Good ice cream, many choices and good service.Quick safety note: if you choose to sit outside in landscaped area, there are two storm drains. Each of the drains have sections missing that are large enough for a small child to fall through.I recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

Great choice of flavors ( yes, all 92)! They even have sugar free and dairy free for those that want it. When first seeing the price list I thought it looked a little expensive, but the servings are enormous.

Best icecream on HHI

Going to Frozen Moo has become a tradition for us when we visit HHI. I ALWAYS get the Cookie Monster and I introduced it to our toddler and he loves it too!! At popular times, it can be kind of crazy and there isnt a set line but the workers are helpful and try to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend stopping in for some ice cream! Lots of options to make everyone happy!

This place is taking very serious advantage of the fact that theyre on a tourist island and they are over charging like crazy. I mean $18 for 2 milkshakes, can that really be right? Its not like these milkshakes are gourmet or like theyre using special milk or ice cream. In fact, my milk shake had too much milk in it and it was super soupy. It also isnt like this place is any kind of fancy or that milkshakes are difficult to make. The decor was very childish, there were cows painted all over the wall that dont make me feel much different from being in a day care or a kids amusement park. Not to mention that its located in this very small shopping plaza with absolutely no place to sit and enjoy you $18 milkshakes but you own vehicle. So I know Im not paying for the views. There wasnt any kind of order to the ordering process. Literally, they have a sign up saying theres no line, find someone who isnt working and start making your order with them. So its first step up to the person first serve. I only went here cause my girlfriend likes cows and calls them moos, so I thought it sounded cute. And that was about it. The milkshake didnt taste horrible, but like I said earlier, it was a bit soupy from over milking. Im more disappointed that it was like that considering the price. These people are just capitalizing on the fact that families have kids. I can easily see people with a family of 4 paying over $50, so be aware of that.

Best ice cream I’ve had in awhile. The person who took our order was super friendly and got our ice cream fast. The waffle cones are tasty and the perfect texture. The Cookie Monster and banana is what I got and turned out to be a great combo. There cinnamon flavor is great too (also pared with banana)

I got a milkshake that was terrible and melted when I got it. Not to mention it was $9. Rita’s is way better and half the price.I was also looking for frozen yogurt which says they have online (AND THE SIGHN) and they yet to have it.

Half of South Carolina’s quickly rising covid cases probably stem from this shop. The lack of sanitation, physical distancing, and common sense here is laughable. It’s sad to see all of the businesses in Hilton Head that are making a great effort to combat this virus get ruined because of places like this. You can tell the staff doesn’t care about being there....the place is disgusting. Something should be done about this shop, but it’s SC and no one cares about this pandemic.

Chocolate fudge ice cream did not disappoint. Everyone in the family was happy. By far the best ice cream at Coligny. Too bad they close at 9. Most people finish dinner around that time.
