*You pay 3 times more here than anywhere else!*The staff quickly grabs the bottles for you so you do not see the prices. Prices are not on the shelves. I was already handing my card when the price was said and dumbfounded by what was said. I got a few things that I normally do not get so as I am trying to sort everything out the transaction was done and it was 7pm (closing time).Visit 2. Went back to return the untouched bottles. The same guy pointed out they have a small sign behind where he is blocking saying no returns. I ask for a manager or someone to speak with and wow.... one of the worst people you can hope to speak with. He wanted to know what I do for a living to insult it, he lied about the no returns being a SC state law, he was yelling around on speaker phone which was funny insulting me while others came in the store. I remained calm when speaking to the owner and he continually yelled at me and insulted me.

Way overpriced!If I could rate them a zero, I would!The staff will shop for you so you never see how much everything is. They dont tell you the price till you are handing them your credit card and then you are shocked and its too late. They have a small no returns sign that is very easily missed.We asked to speak to a manager or owner. He is an extremely rude person. The staff called him and he yelled at us over speaker phone, insulted us and lied about returns being a state law (we looked it up and it is the owners choice, while he has the right not to take returns he should not lie about it!).Overall a terrible experience and we will never go back!

At least the guy working there was a straight shooter and acknowledged how ridiculous the prices were. $29 for a bottle of Barefoot, $60 for Elijah Craig, etc. Only go here if it’s your only option and your wife and crying baby are waiting in the car 😆

Totally overpriced for low quality. The had some rockgut whiskey bottled and sold as Mt. Mitchell. Ever hear of it? Neither has anyone else. It tastes like the worst 10 dollar bottle of low brand whiskey I have ever had, and they are selling it for $89 a bottle. If you buy anything here you are getting ripped off. I doubt they do any repeat business.

Wish I could give it ZERO stars.This place is a complete rip off. $65 for a 750ml bottle of Grey Goose and Biltmore wine (every bottle) at $40 each. There are many good liquor stores outside of Sea Pines with much better selection and far better prices.

Complete rip off. Fraudulent Sales!!As a few others have pointed out...if you want to be ripped off then order something from Moonshine International which is their online store. I ordered 6 jars of moonshine to get the free shipping. I was charged for shipping and immediately sent an email inquiring about this. I was glad to hear that I would get that refunded as soon as the shipment goes out. Their email and website states that shipments may take 7-14 days. No big deal...I can wait. One month later, I send an email inquiring about how much longer it would take to get my shipment. No response. I call, full voicemail...every day...full voicemail. Another email and still nothing. I will have to report these charges as fraudulent via my credit card. Very disappointed.

I share some of the concerns raised here regarding prices - very high but the shop is local to where we are staying and convenient. The chap who served us was very pleasant and polite, so much so that we did part with a ridiculous amount of money for a jar of cherry/pineapple moonshine. What we should have done was remember our high school physics and Archimedes principle - a jar full of cherries with moonshine poured over is going to hold a whole lot less than a straight jar of liquid!! Our own fault, but, if you are going to buy anything from here, I would recommend that you buy jars containing just the liquid moonshine and bypass the jars with the fruit in. Not all was lost though - bought some ice cream to have with the drained cherries for a boozy dessert 😁

They were extremely helpful from the moment I entered the store until I left helping me find everything I was looking for. They were nicely stocked with a good variety of everything. They had glasses and plastic ware cups, juice, small shots to try, and good prices for the liquor they sold despite their close proximity to the beach. Everyone was very kind and friendly as well.

2 years ago, Great Selection and Prices. Lady running the store was Fantastic. Polite, helpful and a pleasure to meet. On our way there from Ohio as I Type.

I paid $120 for a bottle that costs $60 just outside of the gate.

Went there at 6:40 pm today to get some liquor as we just got onto Hilton Head Island at 3:00 for vacation. Walked into the store and the guy informed me that they were closed while he was helping someone at the counter. I said your closed? And he said yes. I then proceeded to look up other liquor stores that all closed at 7 and there was no way we could get to them in time. We then find out you cannot buy liquor on Sundays. would have been real friendly and nice for him to have let me buy something. I just looked up their hours and see that they are suppose to be open until 7:00pm via information on this website. Will not be coming to give them any of our business while on vacation.

This place is a BIG RIP OFF a bottle of titos cost 65.00 and at any store in America cost 29.00 the wine is priced 4xs higher than any store in America and Ive been all over the world... I wonder how this place substains??? STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Lady was nice, little selection, went to pay said card declined, hard her swipe again went thru. Was at 6:45 pm on a saturday night, close at 7 and closed sunday, headed home sunday. Checked bank statement and was charged twice gonna have to call bank and try to get refund

Agree with other reviewers with the terrible pricing. Double the prices you would find anywhere else, even on the island. This is above and beyond “island pricing.” I don’t know how a place even stays in business with this business model.

Intimate store with a good selection of liquor.

Walked into the store and there was no one in sight, not even behind the counter. Thats probably because they didnt want to be laughed at for trying to sell a regular bottle of Makers Mark for $65.99 or Jack Daniels for $55.99! Avoid this rip-off!

Walked into the store, looked at the prices and confronted the lady at the counter. She tried to offer us a small discount of $5 off and then informed us that the owner set the prices not her. I told her we were just going to go to a different liqour store because we werent going to pay double the price for a bottle of liqour. They posted a handle of malibu which would normally go for $27.99 for $55. No thank you. Ill pass on getting ripped off thank you.

Not only oveoverpriced but also the least friendly place on the island. The lady working there tried to convince me that the going rate for a 1L bottle of Woodford Reserve was $129. Avoid these con artists at all costs.
