The facility is nice, with pull through spaces for RV’s, but the best part of the place is Robin, the manager. She went above and beyond for me in helping me secure a spot and getting all the paperwork organized. I am very happy to be storing my RV here.

Robin was great. The resorts down there do NOT allow trailers or unauthorized vehicles (a Mule 3010) on the premises, so we had to store it all last-minute.

CLEAN, NO CRAWLERS, PLUS GREAT MANAGER!The 69 Mathews Drive Hilton Head Island Facility is clean, has climate controlled space, no crawlers, and Great Management. Great Asset for residents/part-timers on an island who have to make the most of their space. Manager Mrs. R. Lynch has worked with me as needs expand, contract - repairs, renovations, my visitors/relatives who temporarily need space in my home - thus our stuff has to go for awhile. Mrs. Lynch and those who work with her are thorough in explaining the insurance, locks, prices - they do change similar to a lot of things in a Resort Community. Also, the facility has Cameras - that work! And controlled access.

Excellent customer service. Robin was able to answer all of the questions i had about the move-in process. She was quick and helpful even after my 3rd phone call.

This is a great facility- especially Robin!! Shes super friendly and has a super personality. We were able to get a great site and she always seems to know when we take our vehicle out and are gone for a few days. She really keeps an eye on whats happening so we feel our vehicle is secure.

We have been storing our furniture at 69 Mathews Drive now for over 5 years. The general manager Robin is terrific, friendly and efficient. Units are clean. Would highly recommend.

Robin went all out securing the two units I required on my move from Arizona to Hilton Head Island. Not only were they on the ground floor, but were close to each other which was important to me with having over 300 boxes. Both units were clean and cool inside. No bugs or dirt anywhere. Robin was a pleasure to communicate with and made some of the many problems associated with a long distant move dissappear. I cant tell you how important it was for me while selling my house, the move and getting transportation for my three vehicles. A tremendous asset.

This facility is excellent, but the pricing strategies are deceptive. Let me explain: if you shop around for a storage facility, you are likely looking for long term solutions. The rates you are quoted are initially competitive, but once you move in you can expect dramatic monthly increases every six months or so. A pricing strategy that frankly pisses people off. Other than that, a good experience. I’m a customer since 2010.

Clean and dry units. Clean and well lit halls. Updated key pad and gate. Elevator works great. Clean bathrooms. Clean parking lot. The space feels safe and secure and the manager, Robin is terrific! So much better than my last two storage units. I’m very happy.

I went looking for a unit And found what I needed. Kathy Kinard helped me tremendously and showed me the unit and how to use the key/locks and how to enter into the gate. She recommended different things for me to buy for the units and different things to protect my items. She was very pleasant and professional and made me feel very welcome.

Robin is top notch and helped me with a late check in and also sorting out a miscellaneous charge due to a system glitch. Easy access and ample room for trailering a boat. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

I have been a customer at this site for more than 2 years. During that time Robin has been a fantastic manager who has always been helpful and responsive. She really looks out for her customers in every way. Most recently she called to offer me a new spot for my trailered boat that is easier to get in and out—and at a significant savings. The facility is clean, well protected, and convenient. They had storage for my personal items as well as my tag along trailer. The management was extremely cordial and helpful answering all questions that we had as well as accommodating us with a replacement lock for our unit when our lock became unusable. I recommend the facility to anyone needing long or short term storage.

Robin was absolutely amazing! She found me a convenient unit to rent at the right price. Robin explained the rental terms and the insurance requirements in a clear and professional manner, then she walked me to the unit, made sure it was clean and showed me how the lock worked! If there are any issues she takes notes and acts on them if follow up is needed. The property is always clean and in great shape. We were vacationing in Hilton Head with our RV. Because we are from Philly and were concerned about snow and ice, we decided to leave the RV in Hilton Head and drive home in a rented car. We called around for storage and got nowhere until we spoke to Robin. Robin was very courteous and helpful and was able to accommodate us. We would recommend this location to anybody. Robin and her new trainee, Essence, were very friendly and efficient. The place was spotless! Showed me different sizes to make sure the one I chose was the correct size. A big plus is having carts near the loading area to wheel your items to your unit. I would definitely recommend this place.

Robin saved the day! We were coming to Hilton Head from Wilmington, first part of our trip, pulling a boat. I had already made reservations at another self storage (in St. George) to park the boat through the internet. The St. George location was a joke!! No parking anywhere in the grass lot! We were in a scamble to find a suitable location for the week when we finally called 69 Matthews Drive. Robin had a spot for us. But the amazing part was, she gave us her phone number to call so we could make the transaction, an hour and a half AFTER they closed. She was very courteous and offered any extra help if needed. This was a unique situation on our part that worked out for the best. I would definitely come back to this storage facility in the future.

The facilities are superb! I had used a storage unit just off-island a bit and it was so old and horrible, most of our stuff developed a layer of mold. This facility is great, clean and tidy, right off the main road. Love it so far. And a rest room in the storage building, great for me since I sometimes am stuck there sorting stuff for extended periods.Robin was so helpful and pleasant to work with, Im very happy that she is on site all the time. I would recommend this storage site and Im very happy I switched to this place.

I am planning a move, and I needed to find a public storage facility for some of the things that would not be making the move to my new place. I Googled public storage, and I found that Public Storage must have been geniuses when they named their company. I chose the location nearest me due to convenience as well as an online special they were offering. Public Storage makes it very convenient to reserve a unit online, and the paperwork is virtually done when you physically arrive at the facility. I worked in Robin, and she was absolutely great... friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I would recommend Public Storage to my friends and family; and if you are on Hilton Head Island, ask for Robin.

I needed to rent a space for my boat while it was being sold and it is now SOLD. I cant even begin to express how much help Robin was throughout this entire time. She took a great deal of care in making sure only myself and my broker had access to my boat. In fact, when my boat was moved and on its way to the new owner, Robin noticed it being moved, and called me directly to ensure I was aware of this. Now thats security! Needing a gate code to access the lot is one thing, a secure lot is a second, but the most valuable part is a manager like Robin who pays such close attention an reaches out to you. Hands down, when/if I ever need use of a storage facility in the future, I will definitely go back to this location.

People are very friendly, indoor storage area is very clean with a covered loading dock which is great in the rain. All said place is awesomr

This property is always clean and neat and the staff are extremely helpful. I just switched out my unit to a smaller one and it was fast and so easy! Shaquita was polite and professional and made the process so smooth on a late Sunday afternoon.

The manager Robin is very helpful and informative. Our rental storage unit was clean, well lit, extremely secure, and convenient. The rental rates are comparable with other storage rentals in the area but the service surpasses that of the ordinary monthly rental type of business.
