The Store (Hingham Shipyards, Hingham, MA) was clean, well lit and had two staff members who both smiled and greeted me.The Associate, Trever, was well spoken, knowledgeable and extremely helpful to someone who is not the most IT competent individual. Explained everything clearly without any problems. Made sure I was comfortable and knew my options.Best experience ever had with AT&T (Haven’t always been great in the past).If all your stores are as clean and well laid out as Hingham that is good.If all your associates are anywhere near as good as Trever, you deserve Kudos……And give Trever a pay raise!!Best retail and IT experience in many years.Well done.

We recently switched from another carrier and were assisted by Trever in the Hingham store. He was extremely helpful and thorough. Explained everything well. Found us the best discounts. We just ordered Apple watches through AT&T customer service, ran into issue with one watch, went back to the store and were assisted by Trever again. He helped us for four (4!!!) hours while we were transferred between tech and customer care over the phone. He made sure we found the best and easiest resolution to the problem. He was beyond wonderful and I can not speak highly enough of his customer service abilities and knowledge of our devices! Thank you Trever for all of your help!!!

Trever at the Hingham location is amazing! He spent well over an hour, probably closer to two, with me helping me upgrade my phone and transfer my service from Verizon to AT&T. He was super kind, patient, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I was a little apprehensive about switching providers, he made the transfer a seamless transaction. He went above and beyond with his customer service skills. He helped me set up my apple watch to the new phone and made sure everything transferred over to the new phone! Even with two other customers waiting to be helped, I had his undivided attention and willingness and patience to make sure I was all set before leaving. This was my first experience at an AT&T store and the customer service I received was stellar! I am so happy with my experience! Trever is the simply the best:-)

My husband and I recently upgraded our iPhones at this store and had a top notch experience there. We worked with Trevor and he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and worked hard to find us the best deal possible. My husband’s old phone was almost completely dead yet Trevor was able to get us some trade in value for it and helped us get it erased when it was being stubborn. We highly recommend this store and Trevor. He was the most helpful and kindest retail associate we’ve ever experienced.

My sister and I went in to upgrade her phone. The manager of the store greeted us and Raff was the associate who helped us. He was extremely helpful. Instead of just making the changes, he coached us through everything and explain what our bill would look like and why. He also worked the promotions and got us $40 off of our monthly bill as well as $150 worth of accessories and we only had to pay tax on them. He was super helpful and really represented AT&T’s appreciation for us as long time customers (about 11 years). I HIGHLY recommend this location as well as a raise for Raff! The manager also seemed like a nice guy that would be helpful, we just so happen to be helped by Raff. Don’t make the mistake of going to Best Buy, apple, or any other AT&T location than this one!

It is truly a pleasure to come to this location when you have to get your phone upgrade. The staff are always friendly helpful, and give you all the options available to you. I never have felt pressured into a sale, and I still feel as though I know what devices have been most recently released. Went in to exchange a phone that was sent to me in error. I ordered an iPhone 12 max and got the tiny one. Called customer service and they told me to go to the closest store to return it. The manager at this location told me he couldnt exchange it that it needed to be mailed d back and that will take around 14 days. I went on the website and it says any phone ordered online or by phone back be exchanged at any store. I called the Norwell att store and the confirmed that it can be exchanged with them. This man at the Hingham shipyard location was too lazy to do his job and process an exchange and also claimed to be the manager. He flat out lied out of sheer laziness.

Went in to the AT&T store in Hingham to get a new phone expecting a two hour debacle. Instead I got incredible service from Trever. He answered all my questions, walked me through all my choices and helped me pick out the phone that was right for me. He didn’t pressure me into buying the most expensive phone and was more interested that I got the phone more suited to my needs. He even offered to fill out the warranty information for the screen protector I bought and email me all the info (which I gladly accepted the offer). While he was transferring my old phone info to my new phone, three more customers walked in. He politely asked if I minded that he check to see what they wanted and at the same time he didn’t forget about me. He came back to check on me three times while my info was downloading. I was impressed that one guy could take care of four customers while not alienating any of them. He even offered me water as I waited. Before I left he gave me his card and said that if I had any questions on how to operate the new phone not to hesitate to give him a call. I normally never write reviews, but got such good customer service, I thought it was necessary. AT&T, you did a great job hiring Trever!

Im sorry but didnt really like my experience.1. When we first walked in to the store the man working there didnt say hi. I asked if at&t sold apple airpods and he emidietly said no, at&t doesnt sell apple air pods and have never before, only apple store sells apple airpods. Which is a lie because I looked at their website and it says that at&t actually sells apple airpods. When we walked out of the store he didnt even say thank you or good bye. The employee should always be nice to the customer.

This was our 3rd time using this store to upgrade or get parts for our AT&T networked iPhones. The previous 2 times had been great experiences, which is why we were willing to travel >20 minutes to shop here. Unfortunately, this time we were greatly dissapointed.When we purchased our new phones, the salesperson accidentally entered the wrong model. Since we were rushed through the confirmation paperwork, we did not initially catch his mistake.Upon returning home and reviewing everything we noticed it and immediately called the store. They told us that unfortunately there was nothing that they could do about it because they are not directly part of AT&T - and that we would need to call AT&T for help.We called AT&T. They ordered us the correct model, but they were unable to cancel the incorrect order. They said that when the incorrect model arrived, we should take it back to the store that we purchased it from. We told them that the store had said that we couldnt do that, and that wed have to ship it back to AT&T - but the AT&T people insisted that wed be able to take it back to this store.Once the incorrect phone arrived, on the next day that we were able, we drove the >20 minutes again to take the incorrect phone back to this store. Upon arriving, the floor manager informed us that - despite what AT&T had said - he could not take the phone back from us, and wed have to ship it directly back to AT&T ourselves.(Note: if AT&T doesnt log the return as received within 14 days from the original shipping/sale date, they can potentially refuse to accept it back. So thanks to this run around, we are now cutting that window close and are facing the risk of AT&T not accepting the returned phone.)From our point of view, this is literally a he said / she said situation - with the store telling us one thing and AT&T another. However, even if the AT&T person was wrong and the floor manager was correct that they cannot take it back - then we are still deeply dissapointed in the way that the store handled this situation.Throughout all of this, we have remained polite and calm - and to be fair, so has everyone at the store. However, it was apparent to us that the floor manager at the store did not care about us or keeping our business.Even if what AT&T had told us was wrong and we could not return the phone to this store - this entire episode and all of the additional work, time, and stress on our behalf (phone calls to the store and AT&T, an extra trip to the store, and possibly missing the return deadline) are all the direct result of the initial mistake that was made by this stores salesperson when he ordered the wrong model. Had that not occurred, then none of the subsequent events would have taken place either. Yet the floor manager did not seem sympathetic to that point, or willing to even try to do anything to make up for it.Everyone and every company makes mistakes. People are human and we all make errors. Its how you handle your mistakes and make up for them that matters.So its not the initial mistake of ordering the wrong model that we are upset about. Its the way that this was handled afterwards, with a consistent attitude from the store of theres nothing that we can do for you and no offer to try to make this up to us. (In fact, there was barely even a half-hearted two-word apology.)Had the floor manager sincerely apologized for the salespersons error that caused us all of this, then that would have made a difference. Further, even if the store is truly unable to take the phone back, had the floor manager shown that the store was at least sorry for the error and valued our business - by offering us a discount or a gift card to put toward accessories in the store, or anything along those lines that would have indicated that they wanted to make this up to us - then that would have gone a long way toward our letting this incident go and possibly even continuing to shop here.Instead, we will never shop at this store again - and we will be sure to tell others about this negative experience.

I shouldn’t even rate 1 star for the service they provided. WORST EXPERIENCE.People at this store don’t have enough experience and make you buy phones by offering GIFT CARDS and other CHEAP TRICKS. They even make you open business accounts and at the end of the day, you will receive NOTHING.While shopping, they’ll tell you to visit the store if you have any questions but once you buy n leave, that’s it you are done. They don’t even answer anything, simply suggest you to call the customer service center.Trust me, I personally like AT&T and I am still using AT&T but I would never go to this store again.
