Great Chain grocery store with LOTS of selection. Go to a checkout with a real human being. Theyre trained to be faster than self check out, and its worth it.

Love the new store layout. Ive been coming here for years and the transition was confusing and frustrating in the beginning since almost everything moved around, but now that Ive learned where everything is, items are more efficiently and logically located. Produce has always been good, seafood selection is good for a grocery store (when theres no fishmonger nearby) and the wine selection is great. I still go to Fresh Market for specialty items, but this Stop & Shop carries a surprisingly extensive assortment of international and hard to find items. Meats frequently go on BIG sales and that is awesome (50% or more off!!!). Overall, prices since the pandemic have gone up which is why this store is 4 out of 5 for me.

Terrible, Ive been shopping at this location for years but wont be much longer, theyve remodeled and havent restocked their aisles in months, I understand a pandemic and gas shortages, but Cmon, this place takes it to the limit. And to boot, theres no registers open, only self checkout, they would prefer using machines than giving people a job! There are no managers or associates any where in sight to help customers, thankfully its a great community and the customers help each other!

I love this store. Thank you to George from the deli department for being so helpful and polite. I really appreciate it these days. This store is my go to from now on. It is also impressive to see the store replies back to reviews. Most organizations do not.Thank you

Skip! Run! Do not go! This Stop & Shop did a major remodel -- it doesnt matter a bit if items are regularly unstocked, prices went way up, and, most importantly, the checkout times are TERRIBLE! Yes, there is a labor shortage. Trader Joes and Fresh Market across the street dont have this problem bc they pay well. Stop & Shop workers deserve the same, Customers deserve more than two checkout aisles open. Even the self checkout is 8-10 deep. A remodel sans customer service.

Nice store and well stocked. This is the largest supermarket near Hull. Across the street there is a Trader Joes. Before heading the Hull, make sure to stop here. It is only a 15 minute drive from Hull and easy to get to return if you need more supplies.

Not sure why they allow vendors to set up cardboard kisoks of items in the aisles! If not there two carts can pass one another...if there...traffic jams ensue.

Love my shopping experience ..very good selection ..employees are friendly and the store has a good feeling. Going through a remodel so its a bit chaotic but the produce dept is coming along very nice and am excited to see what it looks like when done .

Multiple times one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. Don’t use pick up either. Have received rotten/moldy produce. Slow to receive or order has been delayed and not ready for pick up time.

We had a family party last week . To avoid lots of shopping & work I decided to order platters from Hingham Stop & Shop. Best idea ever.I ordered 4 platters from the Deli plus a veggie platter & fruit platter. Jessica from the Deli took my order. On the day of the party I picked up the platters & was greeted by Jessica who had everything ready to go.Absolutely the freshest & delicious platters I have seen. My guests loved them. No prep work by me & clean up a breeze. Could not have done it without Stop & Shop & Jessica. Thank you again.

Harry (who works the Peapod pickup) is the reason I keep coming back to this location. It s refreshing to see someone take pride in what they do. Each an every interaction is positive and customer driven. I wish they’d allow tipping. Employees like Harry deserve to be tipped for always going above and beyond. Anytime there is an issue with my food, Harry will personally bring it into the store and replace it in a timely fashion. Who does that anymore? Give this man a raise!

The only store I shop when Im visiting Hingham! Customer service is always top notch! The store is very clean and shelves are stocked nicely!!

Good location, open late, conducive to late night shopping during which the store isn’t crowded. As a late night shopper I appreciate this. Only con is the robot morry who occasionally works and follows me up and down the aisles.

Really only utilize the Citizens in there for my businesses deposits. Theyre great folks there however.

Still many empty shelves, common daily items out of stock, limited meats and cheeses.

The staff is never polite, they check their phones at any opportunity, and could care less if you shop there. It used to be my go to place but now I only go if absolutely necessary. Such a shame.

Worst customer service ever! On Christmas Eve! Got into self checkout by mistake and didn’t know how to handle produce items. Employee (Jamie) came over when I messed up first item and quickly showed me how to do it then left even when I asked for more help. I was upset about holding up the line and messed up another item. She quickly handled the rest of my items grudgingly. Even when I pointed out it was Christmas Eve. All I got was a shrug. I realize this is a single incident, but this employee should not be interacting with customers.

Bathroom stinks like a sewer line. you can smell it in the store. Price hikes too...

While the support staff are friendly (bakery, deli, etc.), many of the cashiers are extremely rude. They do not say hello or thank you and act as if checking a customer out is an inconvenience. When I called to complain to the manger, his response was, “I never get complaints about my cashier.” I found this response inappropriate consider the immense amount of money we spend at this grocery store a week.I will not be returning. Trader Joe’s is much better and the cashiers are helpful and pleasant.

Pharmacists are awesome in Hingham. Ted is always a thoughtful, helpful man 👨‍🔬who goes out of his way to make you feel like a true regular customer(The woman 👩🏼‍🔬 pharmacist too :)🌡️💉💊

I usually shop here and havent had issues, today was quite the opposite. The kid at the check out was rude and pretty much threw my items to the belt, the kid bagging was fine except he has no idea how to bag. Bread, jars, cans in one bag, rolls, jars, cans in another. Cleaning supplies with lettuce tomatoes and cans in another. My rolls are squished, one tomato squished, and the trigger for the cleaning product put a hole in the bag of lettuce. I took pictures but dont see how to post them here.

I love this store for cleanliness, niceness of employees but they r short on sale products close to the end of the sales!!! The variety of products is excellent. I love the deli, especially produce freshness but would like some cut up stew mix.

This is a great stop and shop for the organic and natural selection. They have alot more than other stop and shops ! The store is always very clean. Seems really well organized and I never have a problem finding what I need.

Buy lots of food here and they have a Zuckerberg look alike that works there, tripped me out.

Stop n shop is good if you have a stop n shop card. If you dont, you cant get items on sale.

The shop that had a deal on Halloween for candies and on pumpkins is a worth of a place to visit.You can find any kind of product for yourself to home and to your animals. The food stock is also fresh and have alot of variety of the fruits and vegetables.I was inspired by the how inexpensive their Shopping bag was. Really a great job. Not like Whole foods where the shopping bag costs you 6$.I hope they improve the customer relations and inform them for the deals and sales on the store. All in one, good place for yourself and family.

Registers can be shockingly slow, tho this varies from town to town within the franchise. Trying to take ones time at checkout and making small talk with the cashier has become a status symbol for more and more shoppers, while in olden days it was bing-bang-boom, pay in cash and get the heck out of there, clear it out for the next person. Hingham being an older town probably lends itself to older residents. What’s the median age in this town? Which county in Massachusetts has the oldest median age of its residents?

Two days before Thanksgiving. 7 pm. Every shelf was stocked. You can find anything you need. Very impressive!

Customer service is horrible, especially in the deli. Employees do not listen to requests, whether for light bagging or thin slices.

We have been to this location many times. Used to be a good place for produce and seafood - but definitely not anymore. Ive bought produce (broccoli, potatoes, fruit) that I didnt realize was already moldy or past its best. Fish also smells fishy - not a good sign. Very disappointed lately because it seems like every time we shop, we get home and realize there are a few things we have to throw away as its not worth driving back to get a refund. They need to be more efficient about throwing away bad produce. Not impressed by this Stop and Shop. Also lines on the weekends can be crazy and the place is overcrowded.

Expensive. OK large grocery store. Gave us a sample of some yummy orange juice, but I didnt get it because it was $10 for a small carafe. Not much selection of tequila. Fast check outs with short lines. All and all it was a middle of the road experience.

The store is clean and tidy here, however there is one cashier in particular; Robert, who looks like he should be working at Hot topic. This guy had a bad attitude towards work and the customers, while checking us out he turned to another employee and asked if he can close his line.. Even tho there was one other person behind my wife and I, when the other employee said no Robert turned his head and rolled his eyes then proceeded to throw the receipt to me. Dont hire children who obviously dont want to work.

Hard to compare as we have been life long Wegmans. To that everyone else is a 2. That said, I think S&S is good for basic stuff, but we shop @ another store for vegs.

The best stop and shop in the whole area! They also sell alcohol. So definitely one stop shopping for all of your holiday needs!

Went to seafood to get crab legs steam and counter person said only steam lobster.The behind him said lobster, shrimp and crabs so I got there the wrong day.

Fresh veggies +fruits. Good item selections.

Some one was shopping during senior hours without a mask. I complained, they said there is nothing they can do. Dont shop there.

I primarily use this supermarket. Good meat, produce, plenty of healthy choices with their natures promise brand.

Its a good supermarket. Some other places have better product for a higher cost; but no doubt quality here is good.
