Excellent meats, produce, seafood and cheeses. Overall Im very impressed with the quality and depth of product selection in these categories. There are plenty of staff and if you have a any questions, they are very knowledgeable & helpful. They arent cheap, but considering the quality, overall and excellent value.
Weve gone to several grocery stores since moving to MA and the Boston area last year (10+) and have finally found the one! Always clean, always well stocked, always good service. Fresh foods are fresh and perfect and I feel assured that all of the products are of good quality.
Needed a Coffee and Wallah....their coffee was as good as Starbucks Pike Place blend
This is a pretty big Whole Foods. Obviously it’s more expensive than other grocery stores but if you want organic produce, more sustainable meat options or plant based options, it’s actually not that much more expensive, if at all. It’s clean and the staff is very helpful. There are rarely long lines. Hot bar and salad are back post-pandemic. They no longer have self-serve bulk products. They’ve recently added self check out. Lots of gluten free and vegan options.
I love shopping here! Im on a gluten free diet and I am always able to find what I want.
If you live on Martha’s Vineyard, great stop on way home from Boston. May be a little off route, but worth the time of you have it!
This is the scene outside Whole Foods, this is where the beauty begins. The store is one of the best to shop at. You will find great service and kind employees who work at this location. They offer a wide variety of food items and more. Feel free to try it? You will enjoy it as I have and continue to do!
Ran in to get flowers. They were dead by the end of the week. They do have a lot of cool items though.
Very clean. Well stocked. Easy shopping
The place is clean and confortable to shopping. You can find almost things that you need for your c kitchen. There are prices higher and slower. Cucumber ok. Beef ok and in my personal opinion with quality excellent. But other things are expensive. Staff correct but sometimes need to be more friendly. Local brand products are ok. Parking sometimes is difficult to find a place. Take your time. No wine and spirits drinks anyway I recommended buy in this store.
I got my wedding bouquet and my husband’s boutonnière at the Hingham, MA Whole Foods. I worked with Rebecca in the floral department, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped with everything, (size, design, flower and greenery suggestions, etc.) and made the most beautiful bridal bouquet. It was perfect!
I came to this location 3 times, looking for the same bakery product ( Tres Leches or Flan). I went to the bakery counter and asked when it will be available, since it is regular product, not seasonal. The answer was always No. Funny, because yesterday, one of the bakers showed me a frozen one. She didnt want to cut it.
This is my first choice out of the Whole Foods within close proximity of each other. It is open an hour later (until 10pm) and in square footage is larger with a much larger selection on the majority of items in the store. What they noticeably have more of in comparison to the neighboring Weymouth store includes: produce; variety, type and where they come from; primarily locally grown as well as organic. I often find vegetables I’ve never seen or even heard of which is always a bonus! The flowers/floral dept is at least double the size with beautiful plants and arrangements premade. Their candy aisle has about a 1/3 to 1/2 more items, I think they could work on this with a larger variety and more local items, but they do have a by the pound section which is not in the same location (it’s next to produce on an end cap across from seafood dept), this could absolutely be expanded upon as what they offer I feel does not ever get touched besides a handful of the bins, I have 2 favorites the sour gummy worms and gummy gators. Note that it is $10/lb which is kind of insane. Their ice cream section is definitely great and they have more dairy free options than any store I’ve been to but still wish they would expand upon this as it’s the same few common commercial brands but I’m still grateful as I always have So Delicious Chocolate Chip (Gluten Free I Must Add) Cookie Dough in my freezer. More options are also in the meat department as well. And the staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. Due note that there is often a terrible smell at closing time near the bakery. I don’t know exactly what it is, if it comes from the meat department or what, it is way worse than dirty mop, more like dirty dying mop. From what I hear other locations such as in the Metro West area are “better” but I’m grateful for this store close by.
Busy Friday, bit of a zoo, friendly staff but felt more like a warehouse store.
Aways got good sushi :)
Good swordfish, but high price.
Always a great experience. All the people that work there are very helpful and friendly.
Had wonderful service today from the gentleman at prepared foods. He went above and beyond for me. Pleasant experience. Thank you.
Completely botched my Amazon return - DO NOT return Amazon items here
Check out the hotbar!
This place gives me a stress level so high I cant wait to get out of the store, at least 3 out of 4 customers act like a complete tool in here. Going the wrong way, then leaving their carts with a kid in them in the middle of an aisle while they go and look for something in the next aisle. at least the workers are nice, well 3 out of 4 of them are.
Be very careful shopping at this location. The staff seem to not know what they are doing when it comes to split payments and refunds. My account was charged excess of 800$ for a purchase of 500$ after the cashier messed up and then the manager tried to fix it and made it worst ! A month later I’m still dealing with their mess up. They originally told me to come in to fix it, I went out of my way to come back and they could still do nothing and never even relayed the info about the mess up. Horrible experience never shopping with this company again. Hopefully they can properly train their employees on split payments, charges and refunds in the future.
Wonderful service and selection. Its overpriced if course and given that Jeff Bezos is the richest man, shameful that starting salary isnt a living wage.
Very clean, wonderful staff, just very pricey
Love the freshness of the fish, seafood, and meats. The derby st location has fresh prepared sushi that is delicious!
This has been my go to place since I moved around here. Never a problem, always professional. Now they brought Prime deals back, it’s the best you can get.
They Have The Best Seafood In Super Market On South Shore, They Have Fresh Fish Delivered Mon,Wed,Friday From Foleys Seafood In N.Bedford,I Get Haddock Here EVERY FRIDAY MELT S😋
A well maintained Whole Foods. I get the need for pandemic protocol, but nobody follows the directional traffic instructions, so theres no point in trying to enforce them. Especially when everyone is walking around picking everything up, looking at it, and putting it back down constantly.
The lady at the register didnt great or say hello. Its a first time and I was surprised. But all in all the young lady who was cleaning near the Amazon package place gave us a warm good-bye. So it made up.
Excellent bakery..good prices...hummus and specialty items make trip worth while
Love the whole foods but hate the plaza its in and the super busy parking lot full of people speeding around. Be careful.
For the things I buy there, Whole Foods is great, if expensive. I couldnt afford to purchase more than the select items that they do so well. But for beautiful, organic, heirloom tomatoes or ethically raised meats for my son (who wont eat factory raised meats) Whole Foods is great.
Loved all the choices!
Excellent high quality selections for health conscious shoppers.
I absolutely love doing my grocery shopping here. Staff is very helpful and polite. Great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fast checkout. Definitely great place!
The store had a line for the safety of its customers which was super awesome to see. The line was quick and the staff was super friendly. There were people constantly cleaning the store and taking precautions in handling the products.
My favorite Whole Foods. Besides the usual WF produce and selection, you will find really wonderful folks here that care about you. During the Covid pandemic, they managed to balance really well the safety aspects of the location, but they also showed empathy for their customers and helped any way they could. Really such a pleasure to shop here!
I personally prefer to shop online Amazon Whole Foods Market fulfillment but if you want to get to a brick-and-mortar place this is a place to do it make sure you come at a not as busy time so you dont have to stand outside in line and put yourself at risk for covid-19 20 + covid-19 one in the year 2020 but if you like fresh air and standing outside this is the place for you stay healthy my friends
Its nice inside. So.e employees are pleasant.
I had a rough day after having heard some sad news and decided to visit Whole Foods to buy my favorite cheddar cheese (Sweet Red) only to find out that it had been pulled that night and wouldn’t be restocked until the following day. The lady at the deli section could see I was disappointed and ran to the back for the block of cheese, which she proceeded to cut for me on the spot. This was above and beyond her job duties for the evening. She did this with a smile and wished for my day to get better. My husband and I were so touched by this sweet gesture and felt we needed to share our experience.
Too crowded, empty shelves, and someone took my full carriage! I hope that they enjoy my food choices as it was not returned...I shopped twice for the same items!
If I can give them zero stars I would. I needed groceries and what I believed to be one of the managers wasn’t going to allow me to bring my three children into the store to go shopping. Basic needs shopping with my kids in tow!!! I had to be loud with him and tell him I was single parenting and even then he gave me a bad look. Is this what the world has come to? Bad form very bad form. I basically walked passed him and went shopping but I should have walked away in hindsight.
Store much more efficient now as compared to early Covid. And well stocked.
Great customer service
Great produce and meats! Great store for so many delicious items! The floral dept is amazing - fresh gorgeous flowers!
One of the better grocery stores in the area. Lots of selections, big produce department, well stocked seafood selections, all fresh and attractively arranged, with a very nice meat counter, having a wide array of meats, choices and clean.Good bulk selection with more options than any of the surrounding markets.Amazon had recently bought Whole Foods and had updated the store. There were kiosks with electronics and other Amazon products. Was odd, as it’s not an online store, but a grocery store, with high quality ingredients.
Love Whole foods... very short line to get in... well stocked!
Great store.
Not bad place to get groceries. They often have some grocery items that are not easily acquired at other places.
Awesome friendly people.
The hot food has always been good. The bakery can be hit or miss. Bought some scones recently and they tasted like turkey stuffing. The staff is great, purple hair and all :-)
Expensive, but definitely the best variety in the area.
This is a note to myself so that I hopefully remember never to buy their (un)scrambled eggs again. They are the most incompetently cooked eggs I have ever encountered- including school cafeteria eggs or letting my toddler help me cook eggs. He at least understands that scrambled eggs need to be, at some point, scrambled or touched in anyway and not left to form a tofu-esque mass.
How do you not like whole foods..its outstanding in all areas of the market...the staff... totally awesome...
I used to work in the food industry, and I will tell you the cheese prepared food and sandwich is running very poorly, some of the stuff don’t even know what are they doing in there, even at stop&shop you get better service, it is all the managers responsibility for the workers,However there is women in the cheese and sandwich area her name is Sandy she is the best she does thinks with passion and she always smiles, thanks for her I’m giving 5 stars to this place,
Very friendly service and a great variety of food
Super simple. Great job.
Nice more with high prices
Just went this past weekend and was forced to wait in line to enter! This is not required by the state, county or any other government entity...so what does this say about Hinghams Whole Foods?Does it mean that those in Hingham are more contagious? Or, has the staff/mgmt team decided that Hingham customer lives are more valuable than Whole Foods customers in Weymouth? Its also a sad show of a power trip by the employees.
Just tried ordering a cake for the weekend and was rudely told they aren’t taking any more orders for the weekend. When I asked if they had the Berry Chantilly cake in stock was brushed off with a no.......plenty of other retailers to choose from........just lost a loyal customer.
We love this store! It’s so much bigger than the one on Cape Cod and offers many more types of items. The store is always clean and staff helpful. I will say that the produce area does get bogged down with shopping carts so we tend to leave ours off to the side and walk thru to select our items! This store also lacks a true coffee bar like the one on Cape Cod! My vote is to get rid of the cheese section and replace with a real coffee bar [please 😊☕️🙌] but understand if that doesn’t happen!
Rotisserie chicken is very dry. Over priced on everything compared to wegman, market basket or trader joe.
Great selection
Always good. Very pleasant shopping experience. Quality is good, but some prices are slightly inflated. I continue to shop here. Did you know they even deliver? I will try this next.
Great selection.
Very pricey but my cat likes their food somethings are worth it! Pizza is good so are the cupcakes! 👅
Great store with awesome service. Fresh meats and seafood. If you want the best food shop Whole foods.
Always a good shopping experience in stock of everything even in the pandemic
Better selections vs the Weymouth location but everything is still overpriced
Very clean and the staff are very nice. They have a great selection of foods and the store is in a very nice location
Quality products always
I have to say, for a specialty store with great food and options. Although high prices are expected, having worked in other grocery stores, the store is disorganized. Store should be reorganized, some things are places that dont make sense.
Good location good selection with prices a bit on the high side but you get what you pay for.
Honestly everyone loves this place so why today did they play Such bizarre music making us rush out of there? Nobody goes there to listen to the music they should stick to mainstream songs and selling groceries as a focus LOL!
Typical Whole foods. High premium for stuff thats only a bit above average in quality.
Some of the stuff they have cheaper than trader Joes...
Over priced grocer who refuses to open in low to moderate income areas
Is or was Super Expensive, but the Quality of the Food is Great...and Options are Vast !!!
Great food, but supper dumb cashiers!
Such kind people working there! Would highly recommend! And thank you for the aloe Vera suggestion!
Clean, organized and extremely courteous and helpful staff
Great place to get something different then ordinary market.
I was there on May15,2015 and in a panic I am new at this dairy free diet for my 7year old and needed to bake a cake for her birthday, I have never had to purchase the dairy free frosting as of today. I went up to the counter and came out and asked the customer service people does this taste like crap or what? thats all I would need a 7 year old to cry over her Birthday cake. The guys behind the counter pretty much brought me to tears (and that takes a lot) they grabbed spoons and opened the jar of dairy free frosting for me to try and for them to try so they could tell other desperate mommies like myself :).I never in my life used to shop at Whole Foods but since my daughter has to be dairy free due to medical issues...I will only shop here after the last two shopping experiences the first being I was in the dairy isle crying not knowing how to shop or her and had no guidance from the doctors and there was an amazing young man and he helped me gave me samples and guided me.Thank You Hingham Whole Foods!!
Large WFM so you can pretty much find whatever Whole Foods carries here. Great customer service too. So glad to have two of these close by!
Crowded, overpriced by 150% to 200%, employees with attitude
Best Whole Foods on south shore. But customer service has really taken a major hit since Amazon took over in all of them. :(
After years of shopping at Whole Foods, Im sad to say this location has VERY difficult, and unpleasant, customer service (even if you are an Amazon Prime member). Very disappointing.I will avoid this location from now on and spend my money now at Trader Joes instead.
Only go for sales items if you have the card. Otherwise it skews on high end.
Great choices and always made fresh lunch area.
Nice store but expensive.
Interesting selection of premium items but a little bit pricey.
Nice produce and hard to find cheeses
I despise Jeff besoz but the people who work here seem pretty nice
Great food prices are high but get what you pay for
Pretty good food.
