Dr. Adamo and her staff are wonderful! The service and excellent work of Dr. Adamo is the best. Thanks to her hard work and dedication I have been able to see 20/20 even with the medical condition I have.

Took my two boys one for sports glasses and the other for a checkup. The staff was great and Dr Adamo did a great job making my 6yo feel at ease during the appt. Highly recommend for all ages!

Definitely a weird vibe there. I brought my 2 year old and the staff were not very welcoming to him. Must be an insurance thing, since I do have government insurance and Im not from Hinsdale. I also always get told one thing there and when I leave its as if their words mean nothing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Adamo’s for the past couple of years. She is always so personable and professional. She stands out as consistently ahead of the curve in her knowledge and skills, and always offers background and context around any medical discussions. The entire staff is wonderful and attentive. They go above and beyond and give you attention as if you’re there only patient in the office. I recently took my three kids there for their first (or second) eye exams and Dr. Adamo and her staff were fantastic! From the youngest to the oldest, they were patient with each and every one of them and took the time to help them understand what the results meant. Two of them ended up needing glasses and Sharon took the time to try on many different frames with each of them and help them navigate that all. She was kind, patient and thoughtful as we worked through cost and insurance and other details. We’ve found our family eye doc and couldn’t be happier!

Best eye experience I’ve ever had! The doctor knew a lot about migrations and post concussion symptoms and eye health. They used get machines for checking eye health (no cheaper puff of air stuff).All the workers were super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The lady fitting me for frames was a real artist with the frames and lenses.They were also great with my toddlers appointments!! They also really worked with my insurance.I can’t say enough good things about this place

My first visit with HAEC and Dr. Adamo was today. I have worn glasses & contacts since my grade school years (6 decades now). A very thorough, non-rushed, and actually enjoyable experience was delivered by Dr. A and her staff. All testing was explained and questions encouraged and answered. The office is also immaculate with priority given to reduce spread of the current pandemic by smart safety measures.

This office overcharges and overbills. I have excellent insurance and I walked out with a $750 bill after a basic eye exam and contacts order. The customer who was processed in front of me got stuck with a $900+ bill, she was visibly surprised and asked to split the payment and pay 50% now 50% later. A month later, I get an additional $125 bill in the mail. I was charged for $40 for foreign body removal I have no idea what that is.

1st time visit today...Dr. Adamo great, very professional and great at explaining. Whole team nice and well spoken, professional. Keeping the whole office very clean, clients one at a time, and wiped down appropriately for the year we are in! Recommend!

I went to the office for the first time today 7-25-2020. The office is very clean and COVID safe. My appointment was right on time and the staff was all kind and friendly. I have required eye glasses for over twenty years and believe this was the best examination Ive ever had. I would recommend this office if you need eye glasses or for eye care.

Staff was very friendly, polite and welcoming. Dr. Adamo was utmost professional and patient in taking her time with my exam, fitting and most of all my questions....had a lot. I was able to get a same day appt after a little tree trimming accident. The entire staff was so kind and professional! I felt safe and so relieved that my cornea only had a small abrasion and will heal on its own.

I went to Hinsdale Advanced Eye Care for the first time today. I was impressed with the many tests they performed on my eyes. Dr. Adamo spent a good deal of time explaining the results. If you do need glasses they have a large selection to choose from and Sharon really knows the science of eyewear and will work with you until you are satisfied. The entire staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. They took eye care to higher level for me. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Adamo for over 4 years now. The approach I’ve experienced from her and her staff has been nothing short of exceptional. When it comes to eye care and purchases she has gone out of her way to make sure all my needs have been met by taking the time to explain what she is testing for and never pushy. They have gone out of their way to work with my schedule and worked me into their busy schedule as needed. They have always been helpful and patient with my kids and their eye tests they have needed for school. When purchasing glasses they take the time to understand what your looking for, how you wear, your budget and likes and dislikes. They carry many frame options from high end, name brand to more resonably priced options. The turn around for products is very timely and the product delivered always has exceeded my expectations. When I have had any issues they have always warrantied and fixed any issues and never even charged for minor repairs. Thank you!

The staff at Dr. Adamo’s are all excellent- quick, knowledgeable, attentive, and welcoming. The quality you receive from this practice is what sets them apart. Dr. Adamo listened to my concerns and carefully explained the changes to my prescription (I had an incorrect stronger lense because some other doctor spent 5 seconds on me before) and contact lens type.Sherri also helped me pick out some incredible frames that I love. My experience with this office was a huge disappointment, a waste of time and my insurance payment. I purchased glasses online with the prescription given to me by this office after my exam and it was clearly (no pun intended) not correct, I couldnt see out of the glasses. I stopped by the office on Saturday and the Optician confirmed that the glasses were the prescription written for me, not before telling me that if she had to give me any other information, there would be a charge. Since I was convinced the prescription was not correct, I was told I would have to see the doctor again and was given an appointment for noon today. Upon arriving, the same Optician (not the doctor) tells me if I see the doctor and the numbers are the same I will be charged for another eye exam. Understandably, but why would my numbers be the same when I cant see with the current prescription given to me by the doctor. It was apparent to me that since I had purchased my eyewear online and not from them, they were not interested in helping me resolve my prescription issue or cared about my customer experience. I never saw the doctor, although I had an appointment, and decided to get my eyes re-checked elsewhere. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I found the office to be very calming and clean. Everyone there was professional and polite - they seem genuinely happy to have you there. I have gone back to get my frames adjusted and they are always eager to help. I highly recommend them.

Above and beyond! Texted them over the weekend about an eye infection, texted me back right away and got me in the next morning. I was flying out for Florida, they found the nearest pharmacy and by the time I landed, it was ready for pick up. Excellent eye doctor.

Excellent experience from start to finish!

Ive been wearing glasses for the past twenty years and really didnt understand my issue. Dr. Adamo clearly explained in laymans terms what was going on with my eyes and then she gave me options that I hadnt considered before. I was so I impressed I brought my whole family back. Her approach to handling my kids was amazing. She was able to get my 8 year old triplets and 8 year old son through a complete exam including dilating their eyes. Every other doctor visit was a total fight to get them in the chair. Hinsdale Advance Eyecare is the best eye center Ive ever been to.
