My appointment was at 11:40 for a simple eye exam for the II SOS and to fill out a form for them. After all the eye checks, I was placed in a room to wait for the Doctor which took about 20 minutes for her to see me. I was told by the Doctor that I had a cataract in my left eye which I already knew about and the lens in my left eye which was placed by a previous cataract procedure should be replaced. I am content with my present eye situation and passed my driving test at the SOS office, so no further visit will be necessary at your facility. Thanks for completing the form.

I got to the office a little early and was sitting outside when I got the email to COME ON IN!! And it was earlier than my appointment time!! I checked in at the front desk and didnt have much time to sit waiting - I was IN the first line of tests before I could ask for coffee ! I got to see the doctor very quickly and he did a THOROUGH job of looking at both eyes to see if my cataracts had returned (they had NOT) and he told me I was good for another year!!I LOVE Hinsdale Eye!!

Superb and timely response to a significant eye problem

I saw Dr. Saxe for a somewhat complicated eye problem. She was intensely focused on finding a solution and took the time to really listen and explain all of my options. This is a doctor that is in this profession for all the right reasons and I highly recommend her to anybody.

After my cataract surgery went flawless on my right eye in 2014, I easily decided to return to the Hinsdale Eye Center for my left eye. On 8/4/20 I had cataract surgery on my left eye by Dr. Iyengar. Once again they have exceeded my expectations in presurgical exams, surgery results, and post surgical follow ups. Doing this during a pandemic was scary but the doctors and staff took every precaution to keep everyone safe through the entire process. Im very thankful to everyone involved at Hinsdale Eye Center for their professionalism.

Clean and comfortable facility. I was greeted by pleasant and friendly staff beginning at the front desk staff to check out. Dr. Morales & her assistant were very thorough, pleasant & professional. I had the most fun with the optician Christina. She was engaging and very patient. I never felt rushed. The parking lot is a little challenging but not a big deal. Overall a great experience. I will definitely give them referrals and will return for my annual exam!

Everyone here is so professional and friendly. They have taken Covid precautions and the environment feels safe. The doctors take the time in the exams to answer any questions and is very thorough.

Visit to check pressure in both eyes. Excellent experience as usual. Arrived for appointment, called desk to let know arrived, a short wait in car, called on cell to come inside and brought right to exam room.

I have been a patient of Hinsdale Eye Clinic for over 10 years and recently my main doctor retired so I scheduled a visit with Dr. Iyengar for an eye exam. As usual, the process before seeing the doctor with one of their amazing technicians was very positive. And a special shout out to Elizabeth who did an amazing job yesterday!! During the testing she calmed my nerves and was super patient and friendly. After testing, when I met Dr. Iyengar and she took the time to build rapport and answer all of my questions. I had cataract surgery on both eyes in February by Dr. Iyengar just before Covid-19 hit. My wife also had hers done by Dr. Iyengar a few years ago and we both love being able to see again. I had my first eye appointment at Larson Eye Center yesterday and was very pleased with the service there. I was able to fill out the paperwork in advance, because I printed the forms from their website. They saw me right on time. I liked that there was parking available, so I didnt have to plug a meter for my appointment.The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this office for your vision checkups!

As always, my appointment was handled efficiently, politely and in aninterested manner. My wife and I are long time patients and will continue to be despite our travel time which exceeds an hour on most days.Dr. Saxe and Monica made me feel welcome!

I needed cataract surgery of my right eye, and from the first day of appointments every step of the process was handeled in the most professional and efficient manner. Dr. Iyengar did an excellent job with remarkably fast healing and perfect vision. Several years ago I had cataract surgery on the left eye with complications that required me to go somewhere else for corrective surgery, I highly recommend Hinsdale Eye Center.

Was referred to Larsen center by co-worker.My experience was great. I have a serious level of astigmatism and they were very helpful with my problem.Nikki was very attentive and professional, helped picked out glasses and advised on lenses.Would definitely recommend this place.

Everybody was so helpful from when I first walked in at the reception desk. to Dr. Blake and her assistant Elizabeth. Then to my surprise as they were scheduling me for a visual field 4 weeks out another technician stepped in and completed the test the same day. I highly recommend Larson eye center to anyone that needs a thorough eye exam to especially if you need to stick to a schedule ( virtually no waiting and I was seen at my appointment time) and receive great service.

Went there as a new patient as it was referred to me by friends. Its a great place to go if you want to sit in a waiting room for a long periods of time. I had one of the first appointments in the day and still hadnt seen the Dr after an hour. Finally just left.

I had my vision correction surgery in August, and at my recent follow up Im at 20/15, without any symptoms of haze, or halos. I do have expected minor dryness, but with the help of the plugs to stop drainage its been back to normal. I would highly recommend Dr Larson for any type of ophthalmic services.

There arent enough wonderful words I can say about Dr. Hare!! We have only been with her for 9 weeks and have seen her three times already. At 2 1/2 years old my daughter was told she had amblyopia. We exhausted many specialist trying to find one that we felt had our daughters best interest in mind. After patching for 1 1/2 years with another doctor and no progress I was one the search again for someone to help. Thats when I found Dr. Hare. For the past 9 weeks we have been dilating her good eye seven days a week in order to strengthen her weaker eye. We have had tremendous progress! She has gone up 4 lines in her bad eye and 2 in the good eye. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Hare! She has an incredible professionalism and kindness. Not only is she always on time, we never feel rushed. She will sit with me as I ask my multitude of questions and answer them until I understand. Far more than I can say about our other experiences. If you have kids or wear glasses yourself.... Please go see Dr. Hare! We wouldnt go to anyone else! She is beyond the very BEST!!

Triple check they accept your insurance so they don’t waste your time like they wasted mine even after I scanned and emailed them my insurance card per their request a day prior my appointment. Really unprofessional...

I highly recommend becoming a patient of Hinsdale Eye Center because of Dr. Allie Morales. Dr. Morales is the best optometrist I have ever had. I had been using antiquated, uncomfortable soft lens contacts for years without realizing that there were more comfortable and cost-effective ones available thanks to her. She also checks for health issues in my eyes that are normally reserved for opthamalogists.As a testament to her attention for detail, she even looked at my husbands eyes and determined that his optometrist was incorrect! My husbands optometrist had to renege on saying that my husband couldnt wear contacts after we told the optometrist what Dr. Morales had found.I cannot recommend her highly enough, and will follow her to whatever practice she goes to!

We have been going to the Hinsdale office for several years and have been very pleased. Recently, I had a bit of a vision issue that took some time to identify and then to rectify; however, Dr. Machnicki and Christina, the glasses specialist, patiently kept working on it and solved the problem. Thank goodness for their tenacity!

Hands down the best experience Ive had at the eye doctor. The reason for my visit was a popped blood vessel in my eye. Dr Sophia Sarkos saw me and was knowledgeable and kind. She had a cold and was considerate enough to wear a mask in an effort not the spread germs, which I really appreciated. I misunderstood and thought I was getting a full eye exam that day as well. They were able to accommodate for me to see Dr. Michael Macek so I did not have to come back for a second visit. Dr. Macek was thorough and informative. Instead of just writing a script, he explained my level of astigmatism and contact choices, what would be best for vision versus price, and really educated me on my eye health and the options at hand. I will absolutely come back to Larson Eye Center for future vision needs and would highly recommend them!

Brought my daughter in for problems with her eyes hurting. The dr spent all of 15 min with us and gave me some over the counter drops.I went and got a second opinion and they spent over an hour doing a comprehensive exam and she turned out to have a severe astigmatism as well as a gluten and lactose intolerance. That is a dr trying to get to the bottom of an issue and treat my daughter with caring and expertise.There was $50 that was due to Larson eye center and I called and told them I thought they should wave that fee due to my terrible service. They informed me they would by no means do that (even though they still got money through my insurance for the rest of the bill) and that if I did pay it they would send it to collections. This is a place that doesnt care and their quality of service is bottom of the barrel. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have gone to the Larsons Hinsdale office for the last 2 years after getting EyeMed insurance through my work. I have to say I will not be going back next year due to the problems I encountered.Last year I tried progressive lenses for the first time. After spending a huge amount of $$ for these they did not work for me. I ended up just getting single vision readers that should have been a $25 copay. Even though Larsons would not refund the rest of the $$, I went back this year and I alas made the same mistake again.I asked the DR what would be best for me since I am tired of trying to find readers. She recommended the progressive lenses. We discussed the problems I had the year before and she still recommended them. After giving the new lenses the 2 week trial period I could not take the feeling of being in a fish bowl. Once more they refused to refund any $$ even though the tech said the eye glass vendor would get a credit for the lenses. And by the way I am again getting single vision lenses.Recap of the past 2 years at Larsons. $500 for 2 pairs of single vision lenses that should have cost me $50. A $10 copay for the DR exam in addition to the annual EyeMed payroll deductions of $60 per year. Not only did I loose money but I also had to put up with the visual problems for two years.In addition every single time I was at the office waiting to speak to the tech other patients were complaining they had problems with their progressive lenses. I spoke to several of my colleagues and friends who have also decided to find another eye clinic. The experience was very unpleasant.
