This UPS store in Holly springs is always great and fast. I’m always running in there to ship packages but lately I’ve been utilizing a Notary Public. The person that helped me this time was Chris. He was awesome and he sorted out some documentation I needed notarized. I was in and out of the store in 10-5 minutes. I’m sure I’ll be back to the store soon.
Please stay open later on Saturday!! Those of us who work need to run errands on weekend. You close at 4pm on the busiest day. Why???

Chris was beyond helpful getting my package shipped. After arriving and realizing the shipping of a return package was more than the product I called the company while sitting in my car. They finally obliged to paying and sent me labels which Chris printed for me and helped me condense all items into 2 boxes (originally had 4). Dropped off a shirt here for Amazon return. I used the one where I didnt have to pack it and the store was supposed to pack it. Amazon said they never received the package. Wondering if the dude working there - who happened to be the same same as me - brought it home with him instead.

I send customers to different UPS stores across the nation to accomplish several things, one being a notary. One of my customers sent some documents he had notarized back without the notaries Comm number nor expiration. When I told the customer thats what he needed, he called back and said the notary would not give that information out and will not put it on his documents. I asked for the gentlemans name and called myself to be told the same thing by Christopher Hunter. I told him I have a notary myself and a comm number and expiration are mandatory parts of the notarization process and I would need to speak with his manager. to which he replied NO YOU CANT then hung up. IM JUST SO DISSAPOINTED. UPS STORES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY GO TO.

Im an artist relatively new online business and shipping. Today after shipping a print to CA I returned to my car shocked at the price of shipping and packaging. I decided I couldnt take the expense of the packaging along with the shipping cost as it would have eaten up my profit. I went back into the store to cancel the order and explained my dilemma to the owner. He was very patient and went out of his way to check other shipping options for me. He spent time expaning the best most economical way for me to ship in the future and even refunded part of the price I had paid. None of that was necessary, the mistake was mine. I so appreciate the empathy and time he took helping me. This kind of customer care is so important to me. I will continue to frequent this location. I cant thank the owner and staff enough for their patience and understanding of my personal situation.

I sent a package to California and paid for 3 day shipping. The package arrived in California, but was not delivered until 11 days later because of Covid-19 package restrictions implemented in that state. I talked with Jessica at the Holly Springs UPS store. She was so kind and helpful! She followed through with what she said she would do once the package arrived. She talked with her boss and they are sending me a check for the 3 day delivery I did not receive. I couldnt ask for them to be more helpful, prompt, and kind in the matter. I have been to this UPS Store numerous times and would highly recommend doing business with them! All of their staff have been courteous!

These guys took care of me. I arrived about 30 minutes after the store closed on Sunday. I had a bunch of Amazon returns and I was sad I was going to have to hold on to them for longer. I stood outside the store and took a picture of the hours sign to send to my wife to share my misery. The manager decided to open the door and help me. I got my returns done, cleared the stuff out of my trunk and made my wife happy. Nice work by the team here 1) recognizing my needs and 2) taking action.

Not a good experience today - I brought my own letterhead in to have a document printed - it came out incorrectly and they still charged me to run the printer for 2 sheets of paper that I provided them - not their paper. I understand running a business and needing to charge for services ... I full well understand this ..... but today they created a very bad customer experience over a couple of dollars. Its not the money - its doing right by the customer .... they failed this morning.

I will not use this UPS store again. After asking them to ship a canvas, my customer changed their mind due to the excessive amount this store was charging to pack it into a box and ship. The difference between the stores price and the online price was $228.00 (not packed in an additional box). The only reason I took it to the store was because I wanted it packed in an addition outside box. Once my customer balked at the shipping costs, I returned to the store to retrieve the canvas. The gentleman told me that they had not yet started to pack it. However, he would only give me a store credit... it’s unfortunate because I will drive to a store outside of my community and give them my business.
UPS Shocks!!Very disappointed with my encounter at this site and the store manager.I shipped my front and rear motorcycle shocks (worth $609 and $620 respectively) to NJ to have them reconditioned. Brought them in the original hard plastic box they came in with the paperwork for the work and coupons for the free refurbishment. I shipped them UPS ground because time wasnt an issue and told the young person behind the counter who processed my paperwork they were worth about $1,000. Box made it to the shipping destination busted open and taped closed with only the front shock, no rear shock or paperwork according to the receiver. Receiver called me immediately to check that it was only the one shock.I called the store in Holly Springs and was told by the manager that UPS would conduct the investigation and make a decision on my claim. I was told again by the manager that I didnt need to provide any information and that if additional information was required I would be contacted by UPS. I was not provided a claim number.After 2-weeks I contacted the manager at the store and was told that UPS had completed their investigation and that I would be contacted if and when UPS would reimburse me for the loss. 3-weeks later I received a call that a check was ready to be picked up. I received a check for $117.I called to discuss the amount with the manager at the store, and was told that I signed the shipping document that the employee had processed which stated the package contents were worth $100, not $1000. I explained that I had a receipt for the shocks, which I offered to provide at the time of the claim, and was told no. I was told that it didnt matter because I signed the paper stating it was worth $100 when it shipped.I contacted UPS customer service who told me this is a franchise store and provided contract services for UPS, not directly affiliated with UPS. UPS will not provide proof of my claim because they contract with the franchise and I have no rights as a consumer with UPS because the contract to ship was with the franchise store and not with me.If you are gong to ship with this store, make sure you check the paperwork thoroughly. I didnt and it cost me. UPS will not stand behind any shipping error as they contract with the store only and your payment is to the store, not UPS. The franchise that has the UPS name will not be held responsible and the store manager is unwilling to provide customer service. As I was told, your package was shipped by our store as advertised, you signed the document saying it was worth $100, we have provided customer service and processed your claim.I live in Holly Springs, stone throw away from this store, and will now go elsewhere.

It’s very important that all UPS customers realize the UPS Store is considered a 3rd party vendor to UPS corp. What this means is if you have insurance claim with UPS Corp underwriter (Crawford) they only pay max $1000. I run small business & ship small expensive items regularly. The insurance underwriter only pays full claim over $1000 if you ship from UPS Corp location or driver, not UPS store. For example, Raleigh NC only has one location that meets this criteria. The UPS Store has no authority, you may as well be shipping from Granny’s shipping center. UPS Store should be required to inform customers shipping insured packages that they are third party vendor & not accept insured packages over $1000.
We ship over 500 items a week at the Holly Springs UPS Store. Everyone at this store is friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist you with anything you might need. As a small business, we greatly appreciate hard work and wonderful customer service. We ship both domestic and international. They can handle all of it, whether it is UPS or USPS.

Ive been using this UPS store for years, for many services ranging from printing, to copying, to packing, shipping, and more. The staff are very competent, knowledgeable, and professional. Yes, it does cost more than the post office for shipping. Yes, you do have to pay for packing materials if you need, um, packing materials. You get what you pay for and Ive found their services to be well worth any fees Ive paid.
I have been to this location a couple times. There is a lady who is upset all the time and with no customer service mannerism. I had a package that needed to be returned. I didnt have it tapped because I was in a rush. She asked me $2 just to tape the package that was already in the box. I never had to pay for things like that. Its the way she handles it more than anything, that makes me give this review. She doesnt even answer you when ask questions. The other people are great.

I purchased a telescope for a private person from NC to be shipped to MA. He had it packed shipped and insured from this store witch we paid for as part of the price we paid. We received the telescope and lenses smashed. They packed a computerized telescope like it was a textbook. Styrofoam peanuts in a box. How is that professional. So now it was insured but the problem is that normally the check is given to the shipper because the shipper is usually a company that would of replaced my telescope not a private person . He was already paid 450. Margo agreed to have the check sent to us. 6 weeks later and at least a dozen calls to Margo and Ups. I found out today that she gave the check to the shipper. So now the shipper has 900, Ups has the telescope and I have nothing. So for 6 weeks Margo has lied to me and given me a attitude. She did nothing to speed this up or even check the status. Now I have to file a lawsuit for Ma to get the money she promised I was getting. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Never once did Margo apologize. All she kept saying was its not her fault. Right is right and wrong is wrong and this is wrong.

Terrible customer service. Will pass over customers waiting in line for people that they know. Store manager did it twice to me while I was waiting in line. Its a good thing they have a deal with Amazon or this place would be out of business. Do your self a favor and take your business to the Fed Ex in Walmart. They will actually be happy to have you s a customer and treat you as such.

Staff was pleasant and helpful, but one person was new and did not know how to ship yet so I had to wait about 10 minutes for the person in front of me to complete their transaction. While this is understandable I had 3 boxes to ship to the same place and was told it would be cheaper to send them in one box. Shipping came out to $29 and the packaging fee was $24.95. Finding this number ridiculous I said I would just take the box and pack it myself. Well I then found out the box was $9.95 for a 40x14x10 box. I ended up buying the box but will not be returning here to ship it.

Dropped of a package before Christmas shipped 2 day air. $30+ to go from here to FL. Even gave myself an extra day for cushion. I missed the 6:30 cutoff for 2day (didnt know that was the cutoff) and nobody told me the package would no longer be eligible for 2 day air. The package got there 4 days later then expected and no refunds from UPS. UPS staff should have known and informed me when accepting the package and scanning it in. I would have paid the difference for the necessary postage. Using FedEx from now on.

I shipped time sensitive documents overnight from this store. The package left the store and then was lost by UPS. Margo called the UPS hub to try and find my package, then when it was confirmed that it was lost she personally called to tell me. These documents HAD to be in SC the next day. She held the store open for me after it was supposed to be closed, printed my documents, and had a notary there for me to sign and resend the documents for free.
I didn’t understand much of what I was doing, but Chris helped me out and made everything so much for clear and smooth. Thank you!

Son shipped me package via UPS from Holly Springs, NC, on Mon AM, 11/27. Promised delivery to Pacific Beach, CA, on Wed afternoon, 11/29. Called on Thu afternoon, 11/30, for status. Agent says sorry, and will deliver 36 hrs later on Fri, 12/1. No time estimate. Demanded money back. One, thus us not busy yet, that UPS could not contact us with delay. Two, no sense of responsibility - they wanted me to guce a dozen parameters over the phone. Three, folks need to press back with oathetic customer service, and vote with their feet/wallets. UPS is factually, systemically, unreliable. And poor at communicating their breaking promises. Each of them should be fired!

Double the price for USPS priority mail. Rip Off. I asked why they charged $12.45 for USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope instead of the $5.75 that the post office charges. They said it was because they do it digitally and I dont have to wait in a line. Awful. If I could have cancelled the order I would have but they had already processed it before telling me the price. Consumer beware.

Do not go to this UPS store or the one in Fuquay-Varina. They will rip you off. Im stationed in Germany and my wife has to mail me packages every now and then. They charged her a $7.00 packaging fee to put one XBox game in a box. Save yourself some money and go to the UPS store in Apex. They are much nicer than the lady who runs the Holly Springs and Fuquay store and wont rip you off.
Have to agree to ridiculous charges, was just charged over 5.00 to add peanuts and tape the top of a box closed. I have used lots of shipping stores and most would have not charged anything. Go some place else. And just to be clear, it was a small uhaul box and everything was already wrapped in bubble wrap.
“Customer is King”This team can give your the bast customer experience. I went to this store for a notary service, had to wait around ~8 min to finish the other customer in line. They waived of my fees since I had to wait for sometime!!! Seriously, I never felt the king treatment in other stores. Why to go team. And thank you for your service..
