Wow what an amazing place!! The ambiance is so relaxing and full of local goods! The decor inside is just fantastic and you can’t help but keep looking around. I love the fact that they have other local Alaskan businesses stuff available because you can support so many local places in one spot!The ladies who helped us with the wine samples were so knowledgeable and very friendly. They kindly answered all of our questions. The wine 🍷 is absolutely mouthwatering! With so many flavors you’ll definitely find one or more you love! We purchased a couple bottles as well as some swag. We will definitely come back again next time we are in Homer!

Such a beautiful place in a good location. Check in service was great and the lady who helped us was so kind and informative. Complimentary bottle of wine and also 1 taste testing per day included which was delicious and fun. We most definitely will be lodging at Bear Creek Winery any time we go to Homer from now on.

This place is amazing! The room was very nice and thoughtful. There was even a black towel for makeup along with some cleaning pads, my wife was thrilled as she often forgets them. Outside is a grill if you want to cook your own food. Theres a wonderful koi pond and fish food in the room. Theres a hot tub, a fire pit, and a couple horseshoe pits. On top of the great room, the wine is amazing. Very military friendly, 20% off active duty and veterans as well as a 50% discount within 1 year of a deployment! Its a great place to take your spouse and get away.

Beautiful absolutely Everything you would want Gives the feeling of a bed and breakfast meets winery. Charming and comfortable the wine is exceptional tasting really worth the visit not only for the wine but for the feeling most berries are contributed by the locals and local areas giving you the home town feel and a sense of community♡♡

This is a very unique winery they have some fully Alaskan wine made from local berries and they offer great tastings. The property is beautiful. They have a garden and horseshoes and flowers everywhere and a koi pond. The owners are so nice and they let us try some salmon fresh from their smoker. It was such a fun experience. They also have accommodation that Im sure is fantastic.

My wife and I always make it a point to stop here! The experience is well worth it. You will not only enjoy the wine but the view is simply beautiful! Take a stroll through the gardens after tasting, koi pond is a small gem!

Love the fruit wines. We bought our share. Anyone who says its not real wine because its not grapes doesnt understand wines.

What a great place! Five dollars for a wonderful wine tasting experience and the money goes towards any bottle(s) you walk out the door with. A delicious blend of wines for both the amateur and connoisseur. The staff were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Im aware Bear Creek also provides a lodging experience, but I can only speak for the wines - and they are indeed wonderful.

I went to do a tasting of the different wines and it was amazing! The woman who let me sample different wines was fantastic and knew what she was talking about. Her friendly service and knowledge helped me to buy a bottle of pomegranate for later. Absolutely perfect experience.

This place can be hard to find if you are not from the area. I would suggest you map the rout before you head out there. They offer a nice selection of berry wines. After sampling their wine selections I decided to purchase their berry medley wine ($18).

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The landscaping was surprisingly pretty (I didnt know what to expect for October in Alaska). The cabin was top notch, very warm and welcoming. Above all else, the customer service was beyond words. After having a not so great experience with incredibly disruptive neighbors, management went above and beyond. Managements handling of the other guests as well as their sincere apologies has guaranteed our returned patronage to give this beautiful establishment another shot!

Great 2 night stay. Very good wine—Blueberry Mirlo was my favorite. And I’m a Cabernet snob. Koi pond was great fun. We named the fish! Hot pot was awesome. Relaxing walk through the grounds. Quiet. And ocean views.

If youre looking for a winery to visit in Homer then youll want to visit Bear Creek Winery.Bear Creek Winery offers tours, so call ahead to find out when and if available. There is plenty of parking, but large RVs may experience issues with clearance during peak visiting hours.There are restrooms, a gift shop, and a tasting bar. There is a maximum on tastes per person; its the law, so dont give them to much grief. Prioritize the tastes and make sure you buy the seasonal wines there. Not all their wine can be purchased at liquor stores.

The Tasting Room is fantastic! I havent tried a single wine I havent fell in love with. The staff is friendly and very informative too.

I usually dont describe wine as delicious, but it is the only adjective that came to mind while in the tasting room.$5 gets you to taste 6-8 of Bear Creeks Wines. They have about 15-20 on their list so choose well. I recommend you choose one set and your tasting partner another set, that way you get to taste as many as possible.After, the tasting if you wish, your $5 can go towards the purchase of a bottle which are reasonable priced between $14-$29.To cleanse the palette, we were offered a smoked halibut spread (their own recipe) on crackers and parmesan cheese bits.Even though they do not grow their own grapes (not possible in Alaska due to weather) the processing is all theirs - making for a unique wine.

Brava! The staff at Bear Creek Winery and Lodging as a team turned our entire weekend around for us, what a romantic getaway! My boyfriend and I were provided with last minute accommodations when they learned of our unfortunate experience with a different local lodging business. The complimentary bottle of house made Black Raspberry wine & locally crafted truffles were a warm warm welcome. 10% off our stay for simply being Alaskan residents and the $15 breakfast vouchers per person for our choice of several of my favorite local eateries, were an added bonus! The soaking tub was beautiful and deep, when we couldn’t get it working the manager was on hand within minutes to see to the issue to make sure it was piping hot for us. The gardens elegant to wander in, the covered private balcony overlooking the koi pond was relaxing in the rain, we could sit there for hours.
