I have never purchased a vehicle sight unseen. Needless to say, with vehicles scarce (even to the point of not being able to test drive a vehicle), it has been a stressful nineteen days since I placed my order. Today I was surprised to get the call that my vehicle had arrived and would be delivered this afternoon. The truck is much nicer than I had dared hope for and all my concerns were set aside when I saw my salesman drive into my driveway with my new Tacoma. Thank you to Mr. Joel Perez for making the process so much easier than what I am used to and for keeping me informed and up-to-date at every step in the process. South Dade Toyota was an amazing surprise when it comes to a car dealership and I would highly recommend them and Mr. Perez if youre looking for a vehicle.
Made an appointment. Arrived 5 min early. Was told, with a take it or leave it attitude, the wait would be 2.5 to 3 hrs long. I have kids. I cant wait that long. Why make appointments?? Profit over people. And when I bought the car, they sold me on there stellar service....😳
My partner and I had an overall great experience. Specifically with salesman Javier. We got there and told him exactly what we wanted and what we had as far as money. He got us what we asked for. We closed a deal within 1 1/2 hours after arriving. The car we bought was not physically in the dealer and had to wait for it, but he always kept us updated as the days passed. The day the car arrived, he sent us a text and we were on our way! We got there and he handed us the keys and on our way back in our new Toyota Rav4. The process couldn’t have been more easier. I had my car in for a simple oil change with an appointment. Three hours later I get a text saying I needed extra routine service. The service advisor didnt give any explanation. Sending a text to say that you need 400.00 in extra service that will take an extra day to complete while Im waiting with no way home. I declined the offer and will find another place to have my car serviced.
Don’t trust in their sales/ financial department. My mom was told the car she bought was lowered to a MSRP of 37000, to which we signed so the car could be brought to dealership.Sharks and liars. When the car finally arrived, they rushed her to sign the contract because they were going to give it to someone else. Mind you, my dad just had surgery and she couldn’t leave him and was helping me with my first day back from maternity leave.So they offered to pick up her old car and bring the new car to her house. I couldn’t be with her that day cause I was at work all day but how can you take advantage of people like that. She wasn’t offered the paperwork at the moment since it was on a tablet, and then took days for someone to finally send the paperwork because of course the papers were already signed so they locked their deal. The MSRP that was offered for $37000 is now $45000. My mother was so excited to have a new car to have the whole experience tainted by their lack of integrity and honesty.Thanks for nothing.

Really bad experience with customer service. First bad experience is with the receptionist, I have to wait 5 minutes in front of the lady, because she was busy with her phone on Facebook . Second, I talk to the store manager and I ask him if he can help me and he answer yes, I weit about 40 min and and finally he approach me to say, I need few more minutes. This is way my experience was not good.

Amazing and Attentive experience overall! I just recently bought my first car, 2022 Camry. The salesman that helped me out was Rafael Nieblas. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. Terrible place for service. After being a VIP member at Toyota of Hollywood for so long, probably from buying 6 cars, two in one year, took the car here for service. What a mistake. They cut the tire and broke off the sensor and said it blew out. (Yet you can see the perfect cut in a perfect square) Wouldnt do anything about it. As per other tire service company where new tire was purchased found the sensor inside the tire where it was broke off and I was told you could tell the tire was not put on the machine correctly and it cut the tire. Manager tried to tell me it blew out because it probably had a bubble from hitting something as you could see there was a place on the rim that was a little chewed up. I let him know that had been there for over three years and tires had been rotated since then. Horrible and not right.
As an independent shop owner its against my own interest to comment on quality work done at the dealer however Id like to take a moment to commend the work done by Holli Salazar, lead service advisor, at South Dade Toyota. She treated my wife and I like family and explained the repair process every step of the way. If you own or lease a Toyota in the South Dade / Homestead area do yourself a favor and ask for Holli.

The ENTIRE EXPERIENCE was traumatic. Starting with the wait to check in the service center. This process took 30 minutes. Less than professional, understaffed, discourteous Service Manager (Jose) and inept at making a simple entry as to what youre bringing your vehicle in for. Appointments, or time is irrelevant to this particular service department. If your car is not under warranty, they have very little concern for you as a valued customer. Items missing. When the issue was presented to the Service Manager, it appeared to be problematic for him, so he chose Rude as his go to answer, and decided to hang up on me. In all sincerity, honesty, and personal experience with this establishment that strongly advise another Service Department.

If youre going to buy or finance a car, this is the place to go. I am such a difficult costumer and am specific in what I want. I was able to find a car in my budget and feel so happy and excited driving it off of the lot. They detailed the car, made sure it was safe and in the best conditions. My only problem was when purchasing the vehicle. Things werent made clear, they were all just for getting a sale I literally felt like I signed a contract with the devil. I gave 1,000 down payment, signed all the papers, got the keys then the next day the guy from finance asked me for an additional 1,000 saying my 1st down payment wasnt enough for the bank and theyre asking for more. But I think they wanted the money for commission because if Ive signed all the paperwork, got my keys etc etc that shouldve been it. That was the most stressful situation ever. I never had that problem with my previous dealer(I purchased with ease and a peace of mind). But Toyota, I felt cheated & robbed, a vunerable person looking for a decent vehicle to get her little ones around in without breaking down and they took advantage of it. I didnt want anything new, but it was almost as if I was forced or they kept saying they dont know if they could get me a good deal with a older car(crazy huh?!) I would never recommend Toyota to anyone who wants to be treated like a human and not a dollar sign. Servicing my vehicle was the only good thing. Sidebar: vehicle was purchased January 1st.

I was declined there, I went to hyundai and I was approved a 2022 hyundai. At toyota we didnt get approved because we didnt give any down-payment and they see you as a loss.

I came to drop off my car for an oil change and to replace the brakes AGAIN that i had gotten them done / replaced not even a month ago and they were squeaking. i dropped off my car at 4 and around 8:15ish, i called the dealership cause i thought it was weird nobody called me and they tell me i can’t get my car till the next day because the service department closed at 8. when i went in the next day to get my car, they tell me they didn’t do anything to my brakes because they didn’t find an issue but as soon as i reversed, you could hear my car screaming from the brakes. very unprofessional and they don’t even care. f this place. wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt after seeing the bad yelp reviews but i see why now

Totally disorganized. Even with an appointment, waited an hour and a half for just an oil change. And were told if we wanted the air filter changed it would be another TWO hours! And when the car was finally ready, we found that they had parked another car in front of us in the lot, totally blocking us in, so we had to go back and find a car hiker to move the other car. We could see they had done the same thing with at least 5 other cars in the row. Will never go back here for service.
Unprofessional staff and a total waste of time!!!! Went to this location because Kendall Toyota failed to provide me with an oil change quote for my 07 Highlander.I scheduled an appointment for said service last Saturday 12/16/20 at 11:35 A.M, I arrived a few minutes before and there was a very very long line of cars waiting to be serviced, there were two lanes, one for those with appointments and the other one for those without an appointment, I waited around 30 minutes to be greeted by an advisor, which I believe it is an excessive amount of time, and strangely all those that didnt have an appointment were served before those who had one.Advisor turned out to be a different person than the one that appeared on the appointment confirmation, but I was completely OK with that. After specifying what kind of service I had requested on the appointment, she suggested to replace wiper blades, but at that exact moment I had to make a phone call before giving my approval, and as soon as I finished making said call, the advisor was nowhere to be seen and I had to look around to communicate her that I wanted to replace them, had to wait several minutes before doing that. During the two-long hour wait I noticed the blatant lack of communication between the advisor and myself the customer, I can understand that things have changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but updates on service are still pretty appreciated, not just communicating how much is it going to cost and if there are additional things needed.Went outside of the waiting room and I noticed that they had already finished servicing my car, but I wasnt informed promptly as it usually happens at other dealerships service department, once again I had to look around the place for the advisor and after I stumbled upon her, she told me to pay first so she could give me the results of the inspection. I wasnt very happy with that, but I didnt want to make a fuss over it and proceeded to pay. Then after paying, she handed me the inspection and apparently there wasnt nothing wrong with the car, tires were rotated and oil was changed, however they just filled one quart and still charged the full amount. Drove out of the dealership back home and no issues at all, but two days later the car was making a lot of clunking noises over and over, it sounded completely unsafe to drive.I took my Highlander today Wednesday 12/16/20 to an independent repair shop and I was told that the mechanics at the dealership had forgot to tighten some nuts and bolts, and especially the ones of the lower control arms, and that was the cause of all that loud clunking noises I had to endure on Monday and Thursday and tightening of nuts and bolts was included with the multi-point inspection, looks like they completely forgot to do that and it is completely unacceptable. I DO. NOT. RECOMMEND. this place for anything in this world, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I went in for a service on my tacoma. I went in to do the 10k miles service. I have a lease and toyota takes care of all my services i drove from FIU all the way to this dealer because they werent busy today. I spoke to the service advisor and she was super nice and very friendly i was told it would take an hour and a half. I left my truck on outside and forgot to leave the keys inside. (its a push start). I took a seat and waited. After about an hour and 35 mins my car was done. As she was giving me the paperwork i realized my keys were in my pocket the whole time. But my truck was done. I said OK and went outside were my truck was parked on the other side of the building. As soon as someone turns my truck off it wont start unless the keys are INSIDE and unless the tech did my oil change with the car running he wouldnt have been able to move it from the shop. Its impossible to do an oil change with an engine running. But the guy even open the hood to prove that he did. I really dont care if he did or didnt my car is a lease toyota is responsible for their tech and the maintenance. All i gotta do is show up when im told. I started driving home and about 5 mins later i pull over to check my fluids and see if they were topped off. And of course they werent. My tires are supposed to be rotated every 5k miles and they werent i climb under the truck and theres oil dripping from underneath not much but a few drops. Ive done 100s of oil changes in my life and always wipe after to make everything look nice and clean. So i call back ask to speak to the service manager and my service writer picked up the phone. I tell her what happened and she tells me shell have the manager call me back. About 5 mins later she calls back and tells me the manager is busy with a customer but on behalf of toyota of south dade he is very sorry that the service wasnt done properly. That when ever im free and around the area to please come in to do the service again.I just drove an hour 50miles round trip took almost 2 hours doing the service to be told to come back when ever i have some free time. The ONLY reason i gave 2 stars was because the service writer was amazing and so was the guy that took down my information. Be careful coming to this dealer and having your services done here. My truck is a lease at the end of the day i give that truck back but if you own your car go somewhere else.
I came here a week ago looking for a rental. The employee was very rude & not helpful at all. He simply told me that they didnt have no rentals available for today and when I asked him what about tomorrow he said the same. He seemed more interested in going home than giving us options. But as I watched him go help someone else he was more pleasant and I noticed how different he treated people that spoke his same language. Little did he know that Im also Spanish even though my skin is colored.The discrimination is real and I felt it here. Luckily, I know not to return here and I advise anyone else of color to not support where you not treated fairly.

My center console was open when I received my vehicle with the items had clearly been moved around. I left my center console closed. Nothing was taken but I highly doubt they serviced my center console. There’s construction in the service area. I walked in on the wrong side and asked the representative where I can pick my vehicle up. The representative just responded in rude condescending tone and let me know I was on the wrong side. These are basic customer service etiquettes that just don’t get followed. If the service manager reads this,Are you mad? Good. Clean up shop.

Service department please be truthful in the services you provide. Stating tire pressure is at 35 psi when in fact I set my tires at 40 psi due to tire recommendation is bad practice also if you state you did the tire rotation at least get the lock key for the wheel lugs to be able to rotate tires correctly. Overall, I do not fault them for their incompetcy. The drop off and pick up experience was excellent. Once the vehicle is out of warranty Ill continue to do the services myself correctly.

He was very patient throughout my very long decision making all while doing his best to make me feel comfortable. I’m glad I went with the the car I did and with the dealer also.
