I appreciate that the waiting area was not crowded and that I did not have to wait long to be seen for my appointment. So far my experience with the optical department has been very pleasant and helpful. I usually have a difficult time getting the right pair of glasses and correct lenses. Great selection of sunglasses too...didn’t use any other services but based on how well I was treated, it’s definitely gonna be a good experience here. Small Business with huge quality selection of Glasses and the Optometrist is excellent. If you are s fisherman or sea explorer they carry Costas and smiths, I got my prescription filled and let me tell you it was on point, I felt a little dizzy for a while, due to adjustment but now they are inseparable to me. I previously used a big well known franchise and it was a horrible experience. But this Place rocks...

My experience at this office was excellent. Dr. Del Vecchio was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain everything every step of the way. His staff Monica at the front desk made the experience great from the very start. The way she was attentive and so genuinely nice was a wonderful change from others offices I have been to. Vickie was great. She took care of all my pre Dr test and mentioned she was new to the office so “just to make sure she did not miss anything” she took the time to go ask. Not may people would do that. Shows she cares not only for the patient but she care do make sure she is doing things right. Let’s not forget Bridgette. She was the best. So naturally friendly and helpful. She has been with the office 6 years but handles the patients like she has been work there all her life. So knowledgeable and an attention to detail that is not found very often. While I was there there were at least 6 other patients in the office in various stages of their visit, she interacted with each and every one in some way or another...weather it was just to say high or to answer questions. My appointment was at 4pm. I arrived at 2 minutes till 4 and they started my first test at around 4:15. Where can you go as a patient and have that kind of service...no where no matter what type of Dr it is you are waiting a minimum of 30 minutes if not closer to an hour to get taken back to be seen. Usually you wait 45 minutes in the waiting room them another 20 minutes for the nurse then close to 45 minutes before the Dr even comes in.Not this office. As soon as I was taken back the tests started once she finished administering all the tests I waited maybe 2-4 minutes and the Dr was there to introduce himself and explain what the tests showed and he explained to me the different types of contacts available and how he can help me see better with a contact he recommended. Best of all he did not try to sell me anything extra. Like glasses along with the contacts. When I explained to him I still had contacts at home he did not push me to purchase anything he just suggested for me to make an appointment when I was ready to reorder so he can re-evaluate me and recommend a lens that will allow me to see close and far so I do not have to where reading glass when I send text messages.In short the best experience I have had in any Dr’s office since I move from Maryland over 10 years ago.

I was referred by the VA. I didnt realize it was owned by an Old Homestead trusted family.Dr Del Vecchio and his staff gave me an almost VIP treatment ( coffee or tea was all that was missing haha).Starting with a warm thank you for your service Dr Del Vecchico looked into my history and meds as part of his evaluation of a first time patient. He understood that some of my symptoms might be side effects of new meds that I am on, and explained that to me.The exam went well including a test that was not covered by his VA contract yet he felt a need to do it. His team had already told me that there would be a charge for any extra exams that are not covered. Well he wanted the test and ordered it. He didnt ask me how I was going to pay and it was not billed.1st Class show of compassion.Yes, I will recommend the office any chance I get.Roger Trujillo

I called this office at 1225 this afternoon to inquire if they accepted our insurance and schedule annual eye exams for my family, 3 out of the 4 of us wear glasses. No one answered and I was sent a text We apologize we missed your call! Feel free to text us here for a more prompt response. We will respond to your text as soon as we are available! ~ Del Family Eyecare. I replied at 1238 that I had found the information on their website in reference to the insurance and that I needed to schedule 4 appointments. At 1649, they finally returned my call and advised that their office policy is to not schedule more than 2 appointments per family, per day. This requires me to take time off from work, twice, to schedule our appointments and their office is not open on weekends. I will find another provider but the office should reconsider this practice or have an exception/work around for working families.

Dr. Patrick Del Vecchio is Amazing!!!! He truly is dedicated and determined. Not to mention that he is so sincere with your eye health and overall wellbeing. His staff is wonderful! The office, staff and Dr. Del Vecchio are top notch. Meticulous office, friendly front desk(Laura), TLC from the techs. In/out, No waiting, prescription dialed in perfectly. Amazing white glove treatment.

Dr. Del Vecchio is superb and the staff is excellent (they were extremely patient teaching me how to wear contact lenses!). The location, right off of US1, is easy to find and parking is ample. *Highly* recommend!

I’ve been in S. Florida for 16 years now. I come from the NE where if you don’t provide good customer service, you go out of business. I noticed that mentality doesn’t exist in S. Florida. It’s all about the worker and what the worker is doing for you. That’s not the case at Del. From the moment the phone was picked up to make my appointment to the moment I left my first visit the staff and Drs made it extremely obvious that if it were not for me they wouldn’t be in business. They made me feel like I was their only client and that my business is crucial to them. I would recommend Del every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I was looking for an eye Dr close to my house but with excellent service, and I found it.My daughter was actually very anxious about this visit, since it was the first time that she was having an eye exam. The staff made her feel very comfortable, they explained the process as they worked on the actual examination.What I loved the most about the experience was that the optometrist did various test to make sure that my daughter really needed glasses, she did not rush into making a diagnosis and explained to me what she had found during the test and suggested ways to improve her eyesight... daughter was very pleased as I was too, but not to excited to find out that she needed glasses.Thank you for the good service.

Customer service started with my very first phone. Very kind on the phone when I called to make an appointment and extremely knowledgeable on insurance so that way I knew what to expect when I arrived. Able to book an appointment the same week. Office visit was quick, efficient, and I was able to get the glasses I wanted for about half of what I thought I would pay. Highly recommended!! Military friendly!

I have had KC since 1998 and have done cross linking twice in both eyes and I have intacts. I have a severe case of KC, and I am a difficult patient to treat. In 2005 after I came back from having done an off label treatment of intacts plus c3r I took a chance on a young optometrist at that time and it has really paid off. Dr D understands the disease, and is amazing when it comes to fitting lenses. I have been wearing scleral lenses for years and they fit awesome and are very comfortable. If you have KC do yourself the favor of going to see Dr. Del Vecchio.

So happy I found an optometrist that goes the extra mile for their patients! Team is always so helpful, especially when it comes to reordering my contacts. The attention and customer service here is exceptional. Thank you guys!!!

After going to urgent care for an eye infection nothing was getting better saw on google this office and decided to give it a try most offices were closed due to the hurricane and the lady who answered the phone told me she can get me in right away super nice and friendly !!!!
