Was an Amazing experience very nice staff and store was really clean..

Braulio is so helpful. The Sushi chefs are fantastic and obliging. Gage is a lovely young cashier. The selection of items is getting better under Jason the new manager. All the cashiers are nice. Small store, but it has improved under the new manager.

This is our last stop on our way to star gazing sites north and west. It has everything and we always wish we had more room in our vehicle. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and they always know where the coolers for frozen food can be found. Great stop on your way to less populated locations further west.

This is our favorite HEB when heading to the Frio River. Today was crazy! It was so packed, but we were able to get everything we needed and the staff was super helpful.

This place is disappointing for an HEB. Its a really small grocery store without a bakery. So many things are missing.

Absolutely shocked that all meat prices seemed to jump nearly 50% since last week!! I thought HEB got all its meat from Texas since we cant trust the FDA inspector anymore and I swear the pork chops I cooked last week was from a feral hog and I do know the difference

I love the establishment. It is VERY clean not only in the parking lot, but inside as well. Major bonus is the fuel station they have so I can get my necessities and fill up with gas . One stop shop

The staff are always very helpful when you only have 10 minutes before they close to shop.

The people who are employed at this particular store are individually and as a group very dedicated at making your shopping experience the best that it can possibly be. From top to bottom and everyone in between they are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The store is always sparkling clean inside and out. The shelves are fully stocked. This store is a textbook example of how smoothly and efficiently a business can operate when everyone works as a team. I love my HEB. Especially this one in Hondo, Texas

For small town Hondo the HEB is packed with lots of variety. This is a smaller scale version of the big stores in San Antonio. Based on the traffic in the store it is a popular local place to grocery shop.

Even though shelves were empty, managers were doing their best to stock merchandise on them...very professional staff...

Has what I need for a regular day to day basis. Dont expect it to be like the ones in san antonio.

This is our family grocer as long as they stay out of politics

I went to Hondo HEB yesterday I parked next to the carts so I could put my one year old in the cart faster instead of walking with her all the way to the front door. A worker was getting carts right next to my car he wasn’t friendly at all and did not inform me that they had clean carts inside. I saw once I walked in They were sanitizing the carts. I had a cover on for my baby but still that worker should have informed me they had clean carts inside, especially with a baby!!As I’m checking out the bagger drops my potatos the ones in a bag. She and the cashier start picking them up from the counter and FLOOR puts them back in the bag and starts to put it in my cart. I told them No I’ll take a new one! So gross! I’ll be calling the manager when they open back up.

I come here a lot because the H.E.B in Uvalde is always getting busier. This morning I went here, & had a handheld red basket, those that you get at the door when you dont need a whole lot of stuff. Everything went fine while I was shopping. But I hate how the cashier just dumps it out of the basket when I go to check out. Its not garbage! She acts like it is. The simplest thing they can do is just take each item out the proper way. The cashiers are noncaring! Youll notice when you go there!

We love HEB! Their staff is always polite and helpful. Even the crew who gather the items for delivery and pickup are helpful. I asked one of them where an item was and he politely pointed it out to me. I was standing next to it, he didnt even roll his eyes!

I have been going to HEB for 25 years. And every time I visit a store I cant help noticing that things at HEB are arranged very thoughtfully. I love my HEB, and I should say that by now I should have been a co-owner of this place, considering how much money I have given away to this store over the years. I always find what I need at HEB. I sure wish they would branch out of state and give others the chance to shop at a store who carries everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

Smaller than the HEB in Uvalde. Didnt have a few things I was looking for such as Meal Simple items like shredded chicken. But did have a greater selection of some items such as sausages and box cookie mixes.

This H-E-B may not have everything the the Plus stores have, but they have everything you need! Meat and vegetables are always fresh and delicious, employees are very helpful and can be found throughout the store.

This has been my local HEB for about a year now and its our go-to for groceries. This location does have its downsides i.e. no sushi, no fresh tortillas, and limited bakery options on custom cake orders, but its staff is super friendly/helpful and prices can not be beat. 4 stars because wed love to get HEB sushi here. Otherwise, awesome job guys!

Nice store

I love my HEB! However, I think Hondo deserves---and is long overdue for---a brand new, updated store. The parking lot lanes are ridiculously narrow, and the spaces are too close together. This store is busy, and when there are lines at the registers, it is almost impossible for customers who are still shopping to squeeze through the mob. It can be crazy!

I wish I would have savored the my last time at HEB. I live in Acra, NY now. I want the company to know that they are the best grocery store in the world and they should be all over the 50 states. We need HEB all over . What I wouldnt do to have one where I am at . The next Time Im in Texas I will hug all the Employees and take pictures with you all . I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND MISS THIS GROCERY STORE. Texas please know you are greatly missed and loved.

It seems like a regular grocery store but not much else as far as home furnishings.

HEB and i go way back. There produce department is stocked well. Need any help in the meat department they are always ready to help. Management is great about helping you get checked out. Love our HEB in Hondo. Thank you to all the cashiers they are so nice.

Would like to see more of HEB brands for groceries. Have noticed seeing less of the HEB brand foods. Also would be nice to see more of fresh baked breads.

Small HEB, but had what I needed. Its time HEB put a HEB Plus store in Hondo or Castroville . Simular to the one in Lytle......hint hint.

Employes very friendly & helpfull & check out ( I had a lot of stuff) very fast.

A quick stop and my husband was able to pick up all he needed/wanted to share with his mom & family members
