James Tran was the WORSE salesman ever he was no help, I came there 3x for 1 car and wasnt given an options to see it he just says its in the shop and I even had to ask him for his card. NOW THE CAR I WANTED IS GONE he doesnt seem to want sales and he is the only one available every time I go into the dealership
I would like to revise a previous and somewhat negative review I left for Audi Honolulu a few months ago. After purchasing a pre-owned Mercedes and a “Gold Package” warranty I had a mechanical issue a couple of weeks after receiving the vehicle. The warranty provider refused to cover the cost of the repairs saying the parts weren’t covered by my policy. I would now have to pay for the $1700 repair myself! I felt this was rather unfair since I had paid an extra $3000 for the warranty and had only had the car a few weeks. After an unsatisfactory exchange with the finance manager I published a negative review citing my issues. The next day I received a call from the sales manager, Vincent, assuring me he would investigate the incident and get back to me. He was unable to convince the warranty provider, Fidelity, to pay for the repairs, but Audi Honolulu reimbursed me for half of the cost. I felt this was a fair solution and appreciate that Vincent made the effort to get satisfaction for my problem. I will highly recommend them and would purchase another car from Audi Honolulu without hesitation.But, beware of Fidelity extended warranties! Find out exactly what’s covered before you purchase.
I went to Audi Honolulu to see a car that I saw online. I met the salesperson whom I was referred to by my buddy at work since he bought his car from there. I told him which car I was looking at and we started talking some estimate numbers. Now my past experience from other dealership for one was that they took my trade in for near the KBB value and two, they usually run my credit before they could talk about financial numbers. The car also had curb damage to all 4 rims and the headlights had defect. The car was a 2018 audi A3 black color and I even asked why the headlights had that defect and he said it looks like sun damage. I felt the outside of the headlight and it was ok, it was actually the inside of the headlights that were bad. I also saw that the car was later priced lower than when I went in after 3 days and called back asking if it was still avaiable but he stated it was sold. I asked him when it was sold and he said he will check. He later said that it was sold on Friday which was the day before I came down to look at the same car that he stated was sold on Friday. I told my buddy who referred me to him since he was outside waiting and he said he wont recommend anyone to that audi salesperson. He also had an issue to where his monthly payment went from low $500 per month to high $600 after paying couple payments. He was told that it changed due a miss calculation that Audi did but I told him that it seems illegal for them to up his monthly payment without him resigning any documents.He signed his contract stating it was in the low $500 monthly range. I had a bad vibe as if I wasnt good enough to be there.

This made the final process quick and efficient. James took the extra time to introduce us to our new vehicle before we drove it off the lot. He was quick to respond when we had questions after getting home. I highly recommend a visit to Audi Honolulu. Everyone we encountered there were friendly and helpful. I had top notch service from start to finish, treated like family from my sales person James, to financing with Amber, and Brandon who showed me all of the little ways to use features. I cannot say enough nice things about how my car purchasing experience went.
My girlfriend went on her own to get duplicate key made for her Audi. A rep told her and pointed where she could wait. 5 min later another rep comes and asks what she’s doing there. She was not allowed in there. This was the “special “ lounge. She said it made her feel small and unwelcomed. A coupled weeks go by and an offer is made for her car as a trade in. We see a car online to trade for. She makes the appointment for the following week. We get there and after 15-20min wait. the manager Rich comes out and apologized because the car was not even ready to be shown. Wasn’t clean and couldn’t see the back seat due to having the original tires in there. Only one of us could do the test drive because there was only room for myself and the ride along. I get back and we’re interested in the trade. Ride along guy says he’ll go get Rich.. we’re standing there in the car parking lot waiting… he never comes so we left. Week later we go back to re-evaluate the vehicle. They didn’t offer us anything. Girlfriend went and bought us coffee. Not to mention we were waiting in the garage again.. we don’t get to go in the lounge.. ?? Needles to say they didn’t accept our car due to previous damage. So asked if they would still accept the offer we would still buy the vehicle in cash. They said no. Ummmm… ??? WHAT?? We even had 2 other vehicles that we were interested in. But just not interested I guess. Sooo we left. We’re just not the kind of people they want to deal with I guess. Our money wasn’t good enough. Girlfriend tried to call management about the service.. and they hung up on her. Communication and service there wasn’t there for us. I guess that’s only for rich people. ?? Hmmm.. we were ready to buy cash though…. Hmmmm
Let me begin by stating that the Brand Specialist John Deron Ohtani is by far the most genuine, warm welcoming and extraordinarily knowledgeable sales specialist that my wife and I have ever had the pleasure to work with.Not intending to sound generic in anyway, but if you are in the market for buying an elite sports car, to a special addition custom ordered investment, to the everyday commuter vehicle, my wife and I highly recommend John Ohtani.He made what is normally a monotonous, high pressure and relatively stressful ordeal of buying a vehicle into an enjoyable and memorable experience. Not to mention his knowledge of the brands they offer at dealership such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley and Audi is truly astonishing and quite remarkable. My wife and I were humiliated by one of the sales person. He was rude and scoffed at us because we did not have much knowledge about trading in our car.My wife was so angry that she wanted to leave the place but I stayed only because I wanted to buy one particular car. We ended up buying a car after talking to the manager. The manager was very nice and professional. We love our new car but We would never want to visit the place again.It sucks that there is only one Audi dealer on the Island.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!Where do I begin??? When I first entered this place it was a bit intimidating with all the luxurious brands of cars. But the boys at the service floor and service made me feel like family. They are well trained and polite. Its like a hotel for your vehicle. They also offered me a shuttle ride back home in a beautiful brand new Audi. They also wash and vacuumed my vehicle when it was finished!
It was a pleasant car buying experience and Matt the sales person was very helpful and never made us feel rushed to make any decision. They were fair in the pricing of the car we were purchasing as well as our trade in. The facility was clean and staff was professional and friendly. Of course the car is AWESOME and I would highly recommend buying an Audi from this dealership!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Audi of Honolulu. Its partially my fault for trusting that such an upscale dealership would be trustworthy. I purchased a used car from them over the internet because it was exactly what I was looking for and they assured me they had checked it out thoroughly. I also purchased a Gold extended warranty for $3500, which they recommended saying it covered everything that wasnt high tech. I had the car shipped to me in Kona, where I live. After two weeks the steering wheel lock failed, an $1800 repair NOT covered by the warranty. So if you have the money to buy a newer car still in warranty then go for it. If not, then you better beware! Theyre just like any other used car dealer!
I visited Audi dealership in Honolulu and I felt very welcomed by everyone that works there.Brandon was also a very big help towards me while I was looking around the place. He’s very professional and gives you as much information is needed for what you are looking for and can answer of your questions that is wanted to know about. I would very much recommend going there to have a friendly customer service and as much help you want and need for Audi’s and if you want to know about Audi’s, definitely go to Brandon for information!
This is a late review. Bought our e-tron from Robert Townsend almost a year ago. He was absolutely great! No pressure, friendly and very knowledgeable about Audis. The sale was very smooth. Even after the sale, I contacted him asking questions about accessories and he was quick to respond and willing to help me with my inquiry.
By far, one of the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experiences possible! Robert was so patient and professional throughout the entire sales experience, despite challenges with COVID-19 restrictions. The team there was really cognizant about ensuring the safety of its customers, and I felt very comfortable during my time there. Not only did Robert make the car buying experience painless and easy, but he was also super friendly and nice! My Audi Q3 on Kauai needed AC repair. Gabe and Wendi in the service department are top notch. Excellent, respectful communication, efficiency and attention to detail. If I buy another Audi, it will because of their outstanding customer service, making it possible to have my car well cared for while living on a neighbor island.
Used them to service my A7 for two years. They wanted to purchase the car like any dealership-- so that I could buy a car from them. I decided I would purchase a vehicle but COVID happened and their hours were spotty. I was really patient but even when they opened back up and offered scheduled visits... I rarely got a call back. After inquiring about several range rovers and Q7s located at the dealership, they still never reached out. After 4 months, I decided to take my business to SERVCO and purchased a brand new 4runner instead. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence and they do not treat all of their customers like this.
My overall experience at Audi Honolulu Auto Service wonderfully surpassed my expectations. I appreciated the ease when I made the appointment. Everyone were so helpful and professional when I brought my car in for the service. The thorough maintenance report I received from Kyle after provided me the peace of mind that my car will continue to operate safely and efficiently. Scott was friendly, listened to what I wanted in an A4, did not try to ‘up sell’ me into something I was not interested in, answered all my questions, explained how things worked with the A4, and was extremely knowledgeable about the Audi A4.Finance gentleman was thorough, friendly, and explained the additional options available without pressuring me to buy. When i asked a question he answered it without additional commentary on why i should buy the option. When i said no thank you, he simply moved on.

Audi Honolulu: A sales representative name Jenwin was giving us such a hard time. He seem confused with his informations and he did not meet our needs. He was extremely dishonest and when speaking to him, he couldn’t give me a direct answer. He kept stating different informations on the same questions and I knew he was lying. We were very disappointed with his sales skills. If he continues to think his customers are stupid, he won’t make much sales.

Would not expect nothing less from Audi. Great brand, and awesome experience. Came here to get a little peak of the new location, and take a look at some of the cars in the showroom. Previous to coming here I have been a longtime Lexus owner, but it was just time to look for something new and venture out into other brands. I was amazed by Audis tech and features in their vehicles. My car at the time had nothing like it. The reverse parking camera, sound system, safety features and more, that came with the Audi vehicles made them more desirable. There is nothing like it! This pretty much got me excited about the brand, which was one of the main reasons why I switched over. The other reason was the experience. James helped me to transition to the brand, and select a car. He was friendly, professional, and overall made this process easy and stress-free.
The service department does a great job, but when I am browsing the vehicles as I want no one on the sales staff makes an effort to see if I am interested.
Went in looking for a sedan, left in the newly redesigned Q5. Handles just like a sedan but with more room than a sedan. James and the rest of the team was very welcoming and kind. I also had an awesome pizza in the cafe that just opened up while I was waiting for my car to finish. Amazing experience from start to finish!

I leased the fully loaded 2018 Audi A4 in Manhattan gray with the black optics on June 1, 2018. Coming from the 2016 A4 that also came in the black optics package, it’s a world of difference technologically and was worth the upgrade to me.Tam was fantastic in getting the perfect car for me. He stuck it out with me for hours as I weighed my options and looked at multiple vehicles. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and patient, he was a down to earth and easy to talk to guy. I highly recommend anyone to go see Tam right away if you’re looking at buying or leasing an Audi!As this was my second time leasing from Audi, I can confirm their service is exceptional. I was shopping for a luxury sedan to lease. Luckily, I met Jerry Gonzales at Audi Hawaii on a Sunday morning before the store even opened. It was apparent from the start that Jerry not only had a good work ethic, but he was also informative, patient, accessible, straightforward and transparent with me. There was absolutely no arrogance in his manner about the product or his service. Over the next few days, as I was considering other options, Jerry returned my phone calls promptly and worked with me and Joe, his sales manager, to negotiate a workable solution to get me into an A6. Once the lease was signed and I took possession of the car, Jerry followed up with a phone call to offer more support. Jerry and his Audi sales team treated me as a valuable customer from beginning to end and set a high bar on customer service for other companies to meet. They have a nice selection of vehicles but the customer service is severely lacking. I showed up with my own loan, and cash to throw on top if need be. The staff was dismissive and assumed I was broke (very disrespectful), they seemed shady with all the whispering going on and gave me the “we don’t care if you buy or not vibe” so I walked across the street to bmw where my time was valued and made a large purchase ☺️. The salesman at BMW said that I was the third customer today that came there from Audi after feeling disrespected. Way to go Audi! 👏

I recently had the opportunity to check out the Audi Honolulu showroom at Velocity in the Symphony Building. The space is amazing and the service is outstanding. I was helped by John Ohtani, one of the brand specialists. He was polite and friendly, he knew the cars and products well, and was easy to talk to.
Very helpful staff. James was very informative as my knowledge of Audi cars was not good. The location and design of the place are great as well.
Customer Service was ok but friendly! I just wish there was a loaner vehicle available for people who paid for the extended warranty. I was told that I wasn’t eligible because of my factory warranty expiring but have the extended warranty. I also missed out on my final Audi Care service (by one month) due to me being deployed to Iraq for 6 months (I have the orders to prove it). I called as soon as I returned to the U.S. to schedule service since my car was sitting for 6 months and this is when I was told that my Audi Care expired a month earlier and that my car didn’t need to be serviced for another 4 months and I was promised a call back once the manager returned from vacation to further discuss and come up with a solution for the Audi Care/Service.. then (I was forwarded to finance to purchase the extended warranty). I called back 4 months later to schedule the service and to discuss the Audi care and the manger was on not available again but would be when i turn my car in for service. I scheduled the needed service. When I came to drop my vehicle off; the manager was out sick....when I picked my car the following day I was told that there was nothing that could be done...I feel that I should’ve received a called back or given leaniatcy or at least a discount for the service but I was told that I had to pay full price (which I did)..I was also informed when to purchase the next service.... the Audi service member was friendly and respectful but I just wish the situation outcome was better.....Audi Care is pretty expensive therefore i wish I could’ve received ALL of its services...
The folks down here at this Audi dealership are some of the friendliest people to buy or lease a car from!! Sunny made the process of leasing a breeze! The service department took care of any issues that were with the car in a timely manner. I go to the dealership periodically to buy parts, get routine maintenance, or just to look at the pretty, new cars. I was skeptical at first because the lagoon drive location was so convenient for test drives, but this new location is beautiful! Its very sleek and modern, and the valet makes me feel like Im getting the VIP experience. Whats more is how friendly the staff is; last time I went in I was greeted by Drew and he showed me and my husband the new arrivals. His enthusiasm was infectious and his knowledge of the models gave him the image of a true professional. I went in when it first opened and it looked a little empty, I figured they just hadnt finished moving in yet--hopefully by now they brought back the popcorn machine!!!

They sent a person the next day to my work garage to replace an item that slipped their attention so I wouldnt have to come back. Top notch.

My 2016 Audi A6 overheated while driving and needed to be towed to Audi of Hawaii. I called Audi Assistant and they provided a tow truck in a timely matter and kept me well informed throughout the process. Upon my vehicle arriving at Velocity, Sonnie the service manager called me with an update and detailed steps of what was going to happen next.I received an S Line rental vehicle and was back to work in no time. The ladies at the concierge desk were very pleasant, Sonnie was excellent and all repairs were covered under my warranty, leaving no out of pocket and a great experience! Big props to the JN Family and the new state of the art facility on Kapiolani Blvd! Thanks

A couple of months ago I went to Audi looking for luxury car. I was reluctant to go becuase of the reviews on Yelp. I still went becuase I like the brand. I was very impressed with the staff and how was treated. My salesman was Ron. Ron was a very insight about the car I was looking at. (the S4). He was very easy to work with and was not pushy. After all said done I was happy with the deal we agreed on. This establishment it was I expect from a Audi dealership. If you every have problems they are willing to listen and make a corrective action. And if you need a car ask for Ron, I know he wont steer you wrong.
Best car buying experience with John Ohtani as my salesman. And their Technologist Brandon, made sure I understood everything about the car before I drove off.
Mai had a great friendly attitude. I even made her demo the whole car for me to test her knowledge on the car everything was great.
The worst car buying experience Ive ever had.+First salesman was friendly and courteous.-Passed off to another salesman on our next visit. Something about him was shady.-Really pushes for leasing.-Used old school sales tactics used to scam you. He wanted to talk payments and got annoyed when I wanted to talk price of their car and trade-in values instead.-Refused to budge on price.-Low balled trade-in offer and barely budged on it.-$735 doc fee & $194.50 Delivery Handling Fee!!! Thats $929.50 in additional fees that they want to charge you for shopping there and they refused to budge on that as well. Ive bought multiple new and used vehicles before and have never seen almost $1000 in fees. That is ridiculous.Overall: I feel like this dealership relies on the fact that theyre the only Audi dealership on the island and because of it they dont concern themselves with customer service.Recommendations: If you want great customer service check out Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu. They also really push for the lease but the overall all experience is much nicer there and their salespeople are much more helpful. BMW of Honolulu is right across the street and also offer great customer service. They will work with you and patiently help you find the exact car that you want. If you want a brand new Audi I guess your options are limited but I could have literally flown to Seattle, bought an Audi, and shipped it to Hawaii for less than I could have bought the car there and the experience would have been much better.

Update*The mechanical service there is dealership price but dealership quality. However, the customer service is next to nothing. But they took care of my baby when I brought it in and that’s worth more than the customer service in this case.

On July 25, 2017, my wife and I brought her A4 cabriolet in for an oil change. Initially we went back and forth about bringing the vehicle here since we would be passing dozens of capable and more cost efficient shops on the way, but being that we had gone to Audi various times before their move and were satisfied with the service, it was decided to try out the new location at Velocity. Our appointment was at 1pm, and we arrived timely and dropped the vehicle off. At the time, they let us know they were “a little backed up”. This was fine with us as we figured we’d go walk around Ala Moana mall anyway (yes, we drove two cars). The mall was nice, but around 4:45pm my patience wore thin. We called Audi and they told us they were not finished with the vehicle, but would call us back soon.Ladies and Gentlemen…. Might I remind you, we are talking about changing the oil…Sometime in the early 5pm hour, we were called back and made the trip back to pick the A4 up before 6pm. When picking the vehicle up, it had not been cleaned. There were issues that were new to us regarding the soft top being broken, and unfortunately, by the next morning, the check engine light was on.I will stop my story here, because the point of this review was that waiting this long with no communication, for an oil change is simply ridiculous. If you are wondering, yes, they denied liability to everything, leaving us largely one option. Pay them more money to find out what they did to cause new problems with the vehicle.Overall, I’m not sure how an experience can be worse, thus the low score. I’m sure Audi, JN automotive, Velocity, and especially Brad and the Nicolai family would be very disappointed to hear about this. More details of this incident will be seen on my review of the management/conflict process.Truthfully I hate wasting my time on writing bad reviews, but if it helps one other person out there, I guess it is worth it.

BUYER/LESSEE BEWARE!! I LEASED A VEHICLE AND UNBEKNOWNST TO ME THE DEALER SNUCK IN A MARK UP OF CLOSE TO $3,000 FROM THE MRSP! THEY CONFUSE AND DIVERT WITH ALL THE NUMBERS ON THE CONTRACT! I DID NOT REALIZE THIS UNTIL I FOUND THE DISCREPANCY IN THE AGREED SALE PRICE WHICH WAS NOT THE SAME NUMBER ON THE CAR STICKER I HAVE. I CALLED BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY MADE A LEGITIMATE MISTAKE AND WAS TOLD LEASED VEHICLES HAVE A DEALER MARK UP.... BE VERY CAUTIOUS !!! THEY ALSO SOLD ME AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND VEHICLE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM. WATCH THESE GUYS!!!
Despite the car being on site left to have breakfast and came back took over an hour and still hadnt brought it down so we could see it. How can you buy something without seeing. Horrible service

This is the WORST dealership I have ever been to. I brought my Audi in for a check engine light and from the moment I got in the service was TERRIBLE!!! No one greeted me and it was as quiet as a morgue. I signed my car in and everything seemed ok. I went to do errands while my car was being repaired and I got a call saying that it was done. I left the dealership only to find out that they BROKE a piece of my car and that they would NOT fix it because they were NOT liable.I was furious!!! I called Audi Customer Center and they advised that I file a compliant, which I did. Audi Hawaii reluctantly agreed to fix it and said they would call me as soon as the part arrived, which they said would be about 2 weeks.I waited a MONTH for them to call and no one called. After getting fed up about the wait, I finally called them and they said, Oh, yah we have the part. Do you want to schedule an appointment? DUH!!!!! They fixed it but it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have better customer service at my local McDonalds.The price for the repairs was enormous for what they did. The worst part is that my check engine light is back on, no more than a month after I got it serviced!!! It seems like Audi didnt fix anything since I still hear the same problems that I heard from the engine before I brought it in. This is the only Audi dealership in town but I recommend going to another repair shop if you can.If I could give negative stars I would. They dont even deserve 1. One star implies there was a service. Its unfortunate that theyre the only Audi in Oahu, as I truly hope to never go back again. I think I will sell my Audi. Anyone want to buy? That is how bad my experience was. Thanks Audi, you just made my next car a Mercedes.
June 30th around noon, I made a decision to get a safe, sensible vehicle for my wife who drives a small hatchback for her daily commuter.Pre-qualified on line @ Audi Velocity webite. Got a call from awesome sales specialist John Ohtani who walked me through the steps of the approval process. From the moment their on-site valet parked my car to walking through their showroom, being offered my options, to seeing the new Q3, signing paperwork, them driving my old car home behind me as I drove in the Q3, I was in total awe! World class, red carpet treatment felt very botique. They have top notch luxury standards but with a touch of Kamaaina. No hassles, no back and forth. I completed the walk in to the drive out in what felt like 27 minutes.Attention to detail and value for precious time was at the heart of how they conduct business. I am a customer for life.Mahalo to the Audi GM and John, my sales guy, Sean at Financing and also all the staff who make this dealership the greatest in my book. You guys rock! Terrible first impression from this dealership. Just moved to the island and was looking for a new service center to care for our vehicle. Turns out, this is the one and only Audi dealership on Oahu. Called to make an appt for my vehicle for its 55k mile service and requested an afternoon time. I was informed that they dont use appointment times, but requested I drop off my vehicle at 0730 and theyd call me when it was ready. I told them that this was not possible as I need my vehicle for work during the day. I was told that if I couldnt drop off the vehicle at 0730, I could bring it by in the afternoon, but there was no guarantee it would be done that day. If they couldnt get to it, Id need to pick it back up and re-schedule another day. It is important to note that this dealership schedules over a month out for service (a fact I also found astonishing). Would they just keep the vehicle overnight and get to it the next day since I had made an appointment? Nope. See ya in another month they said. They said their dealership is severely understaffed with service techs and thats why they cant get to every vehicle every day. Trying to find a compromise, I said I could drop off my vehicle at 0730 if they could give me a loaner vehicle to use. They said they only give loaner vehicles to people whose vehicles are still under the factory warranty. At this point Im asking myself if Im really dealing with Audi here?!?! Absolutely terrible customer service! By they way, the 55k service is $650 at this dealership...and I cant get a loaner vehicle for a few hours?The price of this service is also a concern. They’re charging $650 for 55k service. I really only need an oil change, but try to follow Audi’s maintenance schedule outlined in the owners manual. I was quoted $139 for an oil change on the phone. According to the manual, 55k service includes an oil change, along with changing the cabin filter and engine air filter. It also says to change the spark plugs if it wasn’t done at 35k miles, which it was done on my vehicle. So, $650 - $139 = $511. This dealership is charging over $500 to change two air filters and do a visual inspection on the car! I’m going to check with Audi of America to see if this is legit. Overall, I was very disappointed with this dealership, and I haven’t even walked through the door yet. If you have to schedule service over a month out because you’re so severely understaffed, then hire more techs… this is Audi for crying out loud. Oh, and don’t schedule appointments if you can’t honor the appointment time with the customer. By far the worst service I’ve ever had with Audi and the 4 other dealerships I’ve worked with in the past. We received far better treatment here on the island at our local Toyota dealership. Not at all excited to think this is the level of customer service we will receive with our car for the next few years. I may look into using an import auto garage or a VW dealership if this continues.
