I bought a used 2011 Impreza from another dealership with detached interior rear-view mirror. I brought it to Servco Subaru Kaimuki, thinking that a Subaru dealership would be the most likely place to have the part need to reinstall the mirror. Unfortunately, the part was not available and had to be ordered. I was told this would take 3-5 business day.The technicians also found issues with my shock absorption and drive shaft. The parts were quite pricey. The service representative I was dealing with, Brandon Lee, offered to give me an estimate on some cheaper parts, and call me when the part for my rear-view mirror arrived.After 8 business days, I called Brandon and left a message inquiring about the part, and asking him to return my call. He did not. At 11 business days, I called Brandon again and left a message again. I also called the dealership. I waited on hold for an hour and a half before accepting a call back. I was called by another representative, not Brandon, who said shes get Brandon to call me back. When Brandon didnt call back that day I arrived at the dealership the next day. I met with Brandon who was unapologetic, and claimed to have called be back. I received no voicemail, and my cellular phone showed no record of a call from Brandon.Brandon told me the part for my rear-view had arrived, if I returned in 2 hours he could have the part installed. I returned in two hours later, after another hour waiting I had a $15 part installed for $15 service. The service element of this probably took less than a few minutes. It involved simply screwing a rear-view mirror in place. I took me 3 visits to the dealership, several hours waiting on hold, and a lot of frustration to have this small job done. I still havent received the estimate for cheaper parts I was offered by Brandon, and I dont expect to.Before I settled on this used Subaru, Id been considering buying a new Subaru from Servco. After this experience I am glad I did not. I would not want to have to deal with this garage again.

Would like to warn others, we just had the most shady, unprofessional experience at Servco Subaru Kaimuki. Over the years we have bought numerous vehicles from many other dealers here on island and have NEVER had such a horrible experience as we experienced today. Only giving one star because it would not let me post with ZERO stars.

We had a pleasant, no fuss experience. My husband bought his first Subaru 15 years ago, and we decided to move forward with their newer lines. Satisfied working with Evan, Josh & Mark (parts/service) Kaimuki. Good follow-through! Solid expertise. We love our car and felt like kids driving a brand new car- at a pretty good deal. There is definitely an increase in price compared to off island prices. The Hawaii tax is real. Overall though, the dealers are legit and reasonable. They dont charge install prices for things line rear windshield wipers, and they are honest and upfront about prices. I would recommend this dealership repair center to other family.Was helped by Brandon, excellent service. Thanks!

Save your time (and money) and look elsewhere for a vehicle. Incredibly poor communication from this dealership throughout the process of purchasing our used vehicle as well as the repair process soon after. We called at least three times over a span of a few days before we finally received a call back from the salesman in order to just arrange the purchase of our vehicle. The air conditioning then went out just over a week after purchasing a vehicle, despite earlier claims from the salesman that it had been fixed. The most frustrating part of this is that it took us a full week to get in touch with the salesman, despite leaving a voicemail 6 days earlier. When we did finally get in touch, it took the salesman another two hours to talk to the dealership’s service department - something I did in five minutes after becoming fed up with the lack of a timely response. It wasn’t until after I told the service department to have the salesman call me back that I received a response.Around the same time the air conditioning went out, the brakes started squeaking. Though they still passed the state’s safety inspection, it turned out that a $400 repair was required to fix the issue. I find it hard to believe this problem would not have been identified prior to the dealership putting the vehicle up for sale, and it certainly would have been nice to know this expense was looming before purchasing this vehicle. When stated to our salesman, he replied, “Oh, okay.”Though we might have had bad luck with the repairs, the poor communication from this dealership is inexcusable. I recommend saving your time and taking your business elsewhere.

It wasn’t available, but they worked with me and found something more suiting to my family needs in the price range I was working with. Kirk was awesome and very patient in working quotes and prices for me. He was very polite and professional and went above and beyond what most dealers would. The overall dealership impressed my husband and I very much. It was very clean and approachable. The salesman that helped us was Jace. He was never pushy, and was always happy to answer questions. He let us test drive multiple cars and never seemed frustrated with us. Even when we left to shop around, he just let us leave with ease. Never trying to force us to stay. Great smaller dealership and service spot for Subaru. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Service was completed quickly and professionally. The waiting area is small but they do have water and coffee available. Not a great place to wait with children, but there is a restaurant across the street to walk to if you need to wait. I would go back for service when I need it.

Joe Bolosan was my consultant on my recent purchase. Ive been on the longest search for my childhood dream car which was a WRX hatchback. It just so happened that when I was checking online I was able to find one at Kaimuki. Joe B. was the consultant that handled my girlfriends WRX and I knew thats who I wanted to handle mine. Having owned a few Subarus himself, I was very impressed with his knowledge with the brand and the car. Hes a super cool guy and very down to earth which was a nice change compared to other dealerships that have consultants that seem so hyper because they want to close the deal with you. I know this entry is for just one person but I also want to give Justin (floor manager) an honorable mention. He had a hand in giving me the best possible purchase price for my car!

The customer service was atrocious. They forgot to take down my information so they could contact me about the car repairs I was having done. I left my phone number with three separate people, none of whom managed to pass this along to the service department. Then they moved their location (and thus the location of my car) without notifying me. It took me FOUR days to get my car back when the services should have only taken four hours. They didnt even offer to help make things right! At least they could have not charged me for the safety inspection or given me a discount on the other services. And their safety inspector was making up reasons to have me pay for new wiper blades... I will never bring my car back here. Ive had wayyy better experiences elsewhere!!

I highly recommend if you’re looking for a car check this place out first. Awesome customer service! After having so many bad experiences with other dealerships this place was so refreshing. Straight forward, informative and respectful. Joe was super helpful and patient with all of my questions and concerns.We took out a few cars and he even helped set up Bluetooth to make sure it worked. Joe went through and over every little thing I needed to know to help me make the right decision. Very informative and like I said just an overall great experience!

My sales person, Matt. He was terrific from the get go. I had gone online to look at vehicles and he was the one that sent the picture of the vehicle I eventually bought. He helped me understand the process of purchasing a used car. I felt confident that he was trust worthy and helpful and always put me at ease when I had questions to ask. 1 salesman and didnt meet and greet. Apparently the cars are sold for to much or he makes to much to sell to everyone that comes in was looking at the forester or crosstrek. For a small lot I would try to talk to everyone that enters. And at least say my name is keoni and Ill be with you in just a min. Even though no one was around for the 10 mins I walked around and looked at cars. Maybe I didnt look around enough. Though someone told him, someones here and the man didnt say a thing and did not try to stop me before I left. Well he say so you dont need anything as I was getting into my vehicle. I would have told someone more of thank you for waiting Im all yours would you like to test or look at a particular vehicle, we only have new vehicles here but I would be happy to assist you in anyway possible! The 2nd star is for the Service advisor who let the salesman know that I was there, oh and if they get to see this thank you service department. I would think you might want the bread and butter out front like the sales team and not the service department, Hmmm Questions. I remember Subaru from up the street. Now those guys then would be on it, there were very energetic, had a conscientious sense of customer service and met you as you came in. They didnt wait till you came and asked questions. If I was a salesman I might not be able to make a sale there till 9am because of company policy but I would still make a friend and know everything I needed when the store opened up and talk to them till then or till they had to leave and I had there call back if they were still interested since a lot of schools in the area and a lot of people drop their kids off at 8 am and dont have a lot time

Buying a car is a big deal. It can be as stressful or pleasant as the customer service team makes it.I believe I was an easy customer--I went in knowing what I wanted to buy. Reed was having a busy day--I wanted to come in at 1PM and he asked me if 3PM was OK. I agreed and he showed me a premium Crosstrek. I told him that I was interested in the base model and only wanted to drive whatever potential car I was interested in. He said, well they all drive the same. He didnt think there was one on the lot, and there did happen to be one. I asked how long it had been in the lot, to which he replied he had no idea. I thought OK, this person doesnt see me as a potential buyer, rather perhaps someone that is just test driving-not a good feeling. Lucky for him, I knew I wanted the car. He perked up a bit once we started talking numbers, seeing that I was a potential buyer. The manager, Justin came in when we talked about financing and immediately I felt like this person wants to sell me a car, and wants to help me. We closed the deal.The next day I went to pick up the car. Reed said it usually takes three days or so since the color I wanted was in the warehouse. Thank you? I love the car and I trust Subaru. I did notice that the bluetooth audio has low volume. You really have to crank it up to hear when speaking on the phone. Do I regret the purchase because of this? No. Do I deserve for a technician to at least look at it to give me confidence the car is OK? Yes. I called Reed and he said sure, bring it over and we can hook up your phone to other cars. But that the design is the way it is. I said, well is your technician available to look at it? He said no flatly. Then I got really mad. Didnt buy cotton candy here...bought a brand new car with minimal effort on his end. I called Servco to see what could be done. They said, well he should have suggested a professional look at it, instead of being dismissive. They called Subaru and the manager calls me saying of course a technician can look at it. In the end, I see it is the design...a design flaw, as I read online that older models have been recalled due to similar issues (which is why head unit inspection was recommended). Treat your customers like their concerns are legitimate. Thank you, Justin for following up with me.update: 4.12.19My audio system was finally replaced due to bluetooth issues from day 1. Thank you, Scott for your excellent customer service!

I give place no stars! This place SUCKS! Went to one lot no one was there the sign on the door said to call this number. Called twice no answer. Went across the street to other lot only one salesman but he was with a customer. People going in and out of employees only door see us and dont even acknowledge us! Just walk right passed us without any eye contact not even I Hi, hello, do you need something? Nothing! Whatever! I finally asked a technician if there was someone available. He said no they are all busy. Ok.... thanks anyway... I know you dont want my business...
