A visit here is my reward for completing a twice weekly pilates class. This is a small family owned business with a larger market feel...crisp, well thought out merchandise, bright, happy signage, friendly staff and a cafe that caters to healthy, clean eating.My lunch today included kale and feta salad, chickpeas in garlicky tahini sauce, Italian sausage and peppers and onions and a delightful citrus green tea.In addition to the hot bar, Organic Harvest offer cold entrees, salads and sides and many are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and/or dairy free. There are a variety of desserts, which have tempted me quite a bit. After my diet eases up, I will indulge.My next visit will include a sampling of their cold pressed juices. They look delicious!

I had a great experience at this store.The associates were beyond helpful with anything that I needed help with...The store is well organized and neat..They always greet you and remind you of the great savings on the next visit.The Groupon for the store is awesome too..I dont t think anyone else does a groupon. This is a lovely local cafe and a very well-stocked natural food store.I used to frequent it since 2015, and would have given it 5 stars until this year, when I stopped going there abruptly, due to rudeness and poor service by one manager. I had bought a supplement, and stored it as directed, until one day, about a month after buying it, I noticed that it changed colors from whitish to grey-brown. I still used it, and got ill. After that, I tried getting money back, it is an expensive supplement, and also warning the store about this product, which is not supposed to be stored in the fridge, and to have such short shelf life. The cashier apologized, and called the manager, not having the authority to reimburse me. The manager was unspeakably hostile and rude. Even if by stores rules, reimbursement was not possible, her behavior, body language, and her attitude towards a regular customer made it too unpleasant for me to return. It is a shame, because, I repeat, this was the only bad experience in 4 years, but it overshadowed the good ones. I am in a sort of a service industry myself, and a rule there is this: the customer is always right, unless they are threatening you or being profane. If you have to refuse the customer what they want, do it nicely.

Not only is this a fantastic little grocery store with loads of healthy options, but their cafe food is phenomenal. Its a great place to get vegan and vegetarian options, but they also serve meat. Ive never eaten anything from there that wasnt delicious. Their hot bar for lunch is delicious and they also serve fantastic sandwiches and stuff. Cannot recommend highly enough. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I love this place! The only place I buy my vitamins and specialty treats for the kiddos. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Ive been going here for years and will continue for years to come! P.S. if you need something and they dont have it....they will order it for you! Cant beat that!!!

Wonderful. I did an elimination diet and month three in found this store bass a cafe. I was thrilled to find food that I could eat that I didnt have to prepare while allergy testing. Cooking in everyday I started missing the going out for a meal feel. This cafe made it possible to finish the last few weeks of testing. Oh, and the food is delicious!

This store is in a convenient location and is always stocked nicely. The selection is great for all of your organic needs. The employees are all very friendly and helpful to their customers. I highly recommend shopping here.

Coming back to AL after 9 yrs in California, this is a hidden gem. Better than Whole Foods with more local produce selection, yummy hot food bar/cafe that offers smoothies and macaroons. Awesome!

I love this family owned and operated market. The selection of organic items is broad enough to shop here regularly. I drive out of my way to shop here. Glad they put in locally raised meat and they have great organic wines and beer as well! Friendly and affordable...if you havent tried them, you should. Great hot bar when you dont feel like cooking!!

This my favorite organic grocery store in town. Their produce is always gorgeous and I love supporting a local business. They are also extremely well stocked with supplements, vitamins, personal care products, and skin-safe cosmetics.If you are into making bone broth at home and need pasture-raised bones or are looking for (very hard to find locally outside of the Market at Pepper Place) pasture-raised offal, check out their freezer! They also have gorgeous local pasture-raised eggs and salad greens. Basically, its locavore heaven.The prepared foods at the Cafe are delicious and they have thoughtful main and side options available for most dietary types, with ingredients clearly listed and knowledgeable kitchen staff who are happy to answer questions.Its great to be able to get a quick bite that truly nourishes and leaves you feeling energized instead of sluggish and ill from processed food overload.

Called in one large immune blast at 1:05 today. Giving them a big window of grace (lunch rush) I didn’t show up until 1:36. They hadn’t even started on it yet. Somethings got to give. Happens all the time.

Kudos for being family owned and locally sourced. I ate at the café today and it was good. Very healthy and seasoned well for overly healthy food preparation. I even think the salt shaker on the table had a salt substitute in it. Several people in our office eat there for lunch. I had the salmon and it was good and seasoned well even in the absence of butter. The meatball day is what I am looking forward to trying as they smell great. Only gave a four out of five due to higher price (food is sold by weight) than anticipated for the amount of food that I got.

The place I always shop for all my Organic needs. They have really grown in size over they years. The prices are reasonable and the selection are products are great. I love eating in the deli area because it is always something new for me to try.

This is the best and healthest place to eat lunch. It is worth the trip. The food is soooo good and mostly organic. I go there regularly

Friendly, helpful staff, delicious prepared dishes, great selection of organic produce. On top a solid craft beer selection and lots of health supplements and even vegetarian fish oil.Why not 5 stars?There are a few things that I really like but they run out of it on a regular basis. When I get to the register I always let the cashier know what I am missing and they never write it down and sure enough those items are not in store for months at a time. Strange.

Absolutely the best option if trying to find an organic grocery store. They also have an INCREDIBLE hot bar from 11-3pm Monday-Sat.

The store has great food and products, but so does Sprouts and Whole Foods. Heres why I gave a low rating. The customer service in the store is the worst. I come here every so often, and the only people that ever express any greeting or overall good customer service are the ones that work the cafe area. In the store, the employees at the register look depressed and sad. They never say hello when you walk-in or Have a good day when you walk out. Ive even noticed how they only ask certain customers if they need assistance. The short brunette lady, who I assume is one of the managers, is always has a mean look on her face. This is the main reason why I still continue to go to stores like Sprouts and Whole Foods. Even the upper management personnel are like this at this store. Customer service and common courtesy always plays a huge role in any business, and this place doesnt have any of it.

Organic Harvest is my favorite store, their café is amazing their food is delicious. They have a great variety of supplements and food. Everyone there is very kind and ready to answer any questions for you.

Very wonderful place. If they dont have what youre looking for, theyll order it or tell you where to go. My plant based diet is going so smooth knowing I have this store to go to, that also has helpful staff when you have questions.

Hello what happened? Went to Organic Harvest this morning and the store was empty.Empty with no information about being closed or if moved to a new location.I think the last time I was there was maybe 2 months ago. Anyway, I called the phone number and it said, “ the number had been disconnected.”What happened to the down town location?

I Have been shopping here since 2016, I came here 2 days ago to shop and they are permanently closed. They didn’t give the public or their frequent customers any warning.

They didnt have what I was looking for and it took a while to get an employee to help me and I noticed that the young lady at the checkout was texting while checking out customers.

Best health food store and cafe around.

I was disappointed in my experience at Organic Harvest. I went on a Sunday, and there were not very many employees working, and the store didnt appear clean. The staff that was there was friendly.
