A very enjoyable experience new person was being trained but the atmosphere of great I watched the learning process. I came in for a oil change and I was third in line I was expecting it to take longer but my car was done and I was texted that my vehicle was ready. I will return again to this auto care center.
Been sitting here for over an hour waiting on a technician to mount a new tire (ONE) on a rim (THAT I CARRIED IN) they dont even have to touch my vehicle and its a very slow afternoon for a tire shop. This is sad.

I ordered my tires online and they delivered to the store in less than a week. The only negative, which really wasnt even a big deal, was that the delivery email told me the tires were in the auto center but I actually had to pick them up from the back of store and take them to the auto center by cart. Anyway I recommend checking into the auto zone before picking up the tires so youll get out a little quicker. I was told it would be 2.5 hours but it actually was just 1.5 hours! I asked for road hazard warranty at check in but the associate forgot to add it on, so just watch out for that and make sure you get everything you ask for.
They lost the keys to my car when I took it in for tires. It took me three days for them to get the keys made. They gave me trouble about paying for rental car. They did nothing to reimburse me for my time.The technician that lost my keys told me and my girlfriend he had no f****** clue where they were and they probably just gave them to someone else.I manager names Kumasi was very helpful. all of the other managers acted like it was not their problem and that I was inconveniencing them even being up there to talk about this. I had to take two half days off of work and was late to a work meeting over this whole mess.Dont waste your time taking anything to the auto center. Theyre not responsible.
I wanted to have three new tires put on. Not only is the customer service not very good (but I mean, its Walmart lol), but the guy said that he couldnt get my wheel off to change one of the tires. Which isnt that big of a deal, but one would hope that, as a mechanic, youd do whatever you can to fulfill the needs of a customer, but whatever. Id recommend them for little things.
The service is awful at the auto center. First come first serve policy is not explained to customers. I was first in line to have some tires put on my vehicle and last to get service. Employees should explain this policy to customers better so they know to come inside the store and get a service ticket.
Waited Saturday for 5 hours for them to tell me that my road hazzard tire was special order. Received text Monday morning that my tire was in. Get there and the attendant tells me that I have to get in line with 7 people in front of me. NOT... I speak to the manager, who explained things to me on Saturday, and got bumped to next in line. Walmart can do better. Need to do better. The wait time is RIDICULOUS....
Went in to have 2 tires installed on passenger side first they told me they wouldn’t be able to do it because one of the studs on my hub was broken first off on BMW they have no studs they have long screw bolts so when I notified them of that they said they just forgot that was issue #1 so I went and purchased all new set of lug nuts as I couldn’t go anywhere else because car was non drivable. #2 the tech calls about an hour later to say the battery was gone and needed to be replaced and they couldn’t pull the car in without replacing battery (good sales pitch huh) so I tell them wait a second let me come back because I know the battery isn’t gone it was just dead because we were stuck beside road for so long and lights were on, so by the time I get there the car is already wheeled inside they are checking battery in trunk of car and I ask them why are they in the trunk of car when it’s a positive and negative terminal under hood of car they all look at me dumbfounded and remind you again they said they couldn’t work on car without replacing battery but yet it’s been pulled into station so it was jumped off and driven in prior to me returning and indeed a wasted trip for me just because they wanted to up sell me on a battery and then got an attitude when I showed them the battery was indeed still in good condition and what that has to do with replacing two tires I’ll never know but I will never be going back there if I can help it those techs should be ashamed they probably do that often and try to sell any and everything they can to customers who they think may not know what’s going on. I mean I understand the battery is located in the trunk but all they had to do was jump start it from under hood get it inside change tires that’s it I literally drove car home no issues after. But if I have to go inside and act like a mechanic because you’re trying to up sell me or “forgot” my car didn’t have stubs coming from hub I mean geez my labor cost should be free!
Utterly incompetent staff. At 4:30pm I came in to get a tire for my Fiat. I was not very optimistic as I know that Fiat tires are generally special order. The first person I spoke to told me that he did indeed have 2 of the correct tires in stock and that they were actually on clearance. I was very happy with that but when the gentleman went to find them he could not locate the tires. Another gentleman helped me go through the clearance tires to see if any of the tires there would fit. We found one that was close to the same size which he told me would fit so again I was pleasantly surprised. One of the mechanics proceeded to tell me that per Walmart Rules they could not put a tire on the car that was not the correct size. Frustrated but understanding I stepped back to think. Another gentleman in the department walked out to the car with me to look at the door panel and see if there were other options listed for tire sizes. Pleasantly he told me that the current size and an additional size, slightly smaller, would also fit. We located a clearance tire in the alternate size which again made me quite happy. In the process of ringing up the tire the first person I had spoken with said that he had located a pair of tires in the alternate size which would work well and cost less, per tire, than the clearance tire we had found. I was again quite happy and was quoted a reasonable price for having those two tires put on. This was around 5:30 and I was told that in under an hour my car would be ready to go. At 7:00 I went back to check on my car to find out that the mechanic refused to put the tires on my car. He told me that the panel on my car did not give options for an alternate size and that the tires we had selected would not fit. Another mechanic then brought in a pair of tires that were in fact the correct size offering to sell them to me at a higher price than I had been quoted. I was again upset at the total incompetence I had dealt with so I demanded to speak to a manager. The manager came over and was reasonable, understanding my frustrations but then told me that she could in fact NOT sell me the tires that I had been offered at a higher price because they were special order for another customer. Forbthis entire time my wife and 2 year old were waiting nicely. All in all the experience was a 0/100.
I was skeptical about going but a lot of people told me they were great, when I arrived(4:13 pm) the lady greeted me & told me there was an hour and 30 minute wait, I understand that it takes time so thats no biggy. A simple oil change turned into me waiting at Walmart for 3 hours and 33 minutes, the whole time the woman didnt let me know that there was going to be an additional wait or anything. Then when I finally pay Im charged an additional fee because I needed a special filter that wasnt brought up until I was about to pay. Needless to say I will NOT be going back for anything else!
They dont always have my tires if they have them its always two and not four. So Im paying more for just two then all four. This is the second time it happen. If they would have had all four then I would have save bout $20 or more getting all four at one time.
The service is decent but it actually it always takes a extra long time to check out at the counter. They should more that one cashiers in that department.
Got oil change, the standard oil change like always buy this time they broke the seal and never said anything. Went back and they acted like it was something I did. It never leaked oil until I got an oil change. My mechanic said they broke the seal and the filter was not on right. So oil leaked and sprays out. My mechanic fixed it and refilled my van with 4quarts of oil and lucas oil that is how much I lost. So I give them a horrible score.

Ive never had an issue with them. They are always amazing. I walked in at 735PM and had no problems with the throwing on 2 new tires. Quentin is always the best and Ive ALWAYS had great service with ALL of them.
Went yesterday for an oil change and walked around for about 30 minutes. Got a call to head back assuming my oil change was done. They did not have the tools to change my oil so I said thats fine and left. When I got was driving home I noticed a weird noise coming from the engine. The so called mechanic left my oil cap off and could have blown up my only form of transportation.
The manager was excellent and should get a raise for his action of going out if his way to help us. thank you once again
0 star if it was an optionNo point in getting here early. Came in at 7am for 1 tire. I was 2nd car in line 4-5 cars pull in behind me (for oil change I assume well 1 was also for tires more on that in a sec)It is now 9am and my car has not moved. Yet every other vehicle is being pulled in for service. Apparently out of the 2 techs only 1 was doing tires ok all good except the car in front of me was getting tires and now that one is complete then he pulls in another car for tires that rolled up an hour and a half after I got here.Really??? Guess they do not complete service tickets based off time of arrival DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL DAY TO WAIT FOR A 20 MINUTE JOBNever again walmart service center. Poorest experience I have ever had getting my vehicle serviced. Go to a legit service center/tire shop people trust me. I knew better but settled for convenience since I had a couple things to grab for a roadtrip that I am now running behind for. Ladies at the counter were pleasant for what thats worth but when it comes to shop management that does not exist apparently.

I wont ever go to the Walmart tire center in Hope Mills again. I got there @ 1030 and my car didnt get touched until after 130...I waited all that time for them to tell me the woman @ Walmart on Skibo Rd. got my tire size wrong on the tire quote and I ended up paying more for two tires and couldve went somewhere else for cheaper. I didnt get out of there til after 2, I wont ever take my car to any Walmart for any type of maintenance. The overall experience was horrible...people that came in after me left way before I did. As long as I had to wait, I shouldve gotten a damn discount 🖓🖓🖓🖓🖓🖓🖓🖓

The customer service for this location is awful. Took us 3 weeks to get an order in and 3 tires put on. When the 4th tire finally came in they quoted us a wait of 3 hours after already having a hassle over a 3 week period of time. The manager didnt care and refused to expedite our service. Same story as everyone else.

Worst experience at a tire shop!! First I went to the Walmart tires center off of Skibo and waited three hours before they told me they couldnt work on my vehicle. All of that could have bee avoided if they would have inspected my vehicle first. Then I came to the Walmart tire center in Hope Mills at 6:25p.m and no one Is there to work on my car and, that I need to come back another day when the the employees are available. Never again doing business with Walmart!!
