The absolute best experience I could have hoped for. I had never hired professional movers before so I had a lot of questions and Tiffany & Katie in the Hope Mills office were so kind and accommodating even though I’m sure I called too much. We did a video chat so she could see all my belongings and assess an estimate. Everything was explained thoroughly. We ended up selling/donating some stuff before the move so our end price was adjusted based on that and the lighter weight. As for the move itself, Lionel, Isaiah, & David were professional, careful with our belongings and fast! We were very impressed with the move and would definitely use again as well as recommend.

We asked them to move numerous, very heavy, very large pieces of furniture from various room out to the garage.These were SOLID pieces of furniture. I had Dayshawn, Isaiah and Lionel help me move out of a home I’ve lived in for five years. Needless to say, there was a lot of stuff accumulated over those five years! These men were on time, professional even beyond my expectations and worked incredibly hard. I felt safe with them in my home and with my belongings. I cannot recommend them enough! Two Men and a Truck office staff were also readily available, easy to contact and had answers to all my questions. They even called mid-move just to check in and see how things were going. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move and they worked with me too put all the boxes in the appropriate rooms and set up the heavy furniture exactly where I wanted it. I would absolutely recommend this company and plan to use them next year when I make my cross-country move.

I used the service for a local move around 25 mins away. I actually saw them moving someone about 4 or 5 weeks before my move and saw them done in about 2 hours. When I called the office lady was super helpful and gave me quotes with and without packing. I decided to pack on my own. The care that the moving team gave to each and every item was outstanding. I didnt have a single worry the entire time. They will make sure your stuff arrives safe and sound.

My experience with the website and the FaceTime home review and quote went well and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, however the pricing was about 30% higher than another company that did an in person quote and so I didn’t end up using 2 men and truck for my move.

Nico and Jefari left the office and traveled 140 miles thru bad traffic and heavy road construction to arrive early for the move. They then packed carefully and hauled heavy items from multiple floors and secured them in the truck for transport in record time. I left about ten minutes after them and traveled the 140 mile route to the destination for delivery. About two miles out, I was delighted to see the truck in my rear view mirror. They unpacked quickly and carefully and were always courteous and professional. When the final bill arrived, I was happy to see that the charges were less than the estimate. Special thanks to Robin, the moving consultant, for pricing and suggestions, and a great sense of humor.I am very impressed with the service from start to finish and highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.

I am moving from Fayetteville, NC to Pittsburgh, PA. I went online and I was provided a quote of $6,400 to move four bedrooms with an estimated weight of 8,000 lbs. This included two men, a truck, moving boxes, and the workers packing the boxes as I also checked that I would like them to pack the boxes. I was happy with this estimate. We then did a virtual tour of the house with the estimator so that a more accurate value could be provided. The new estimate included 10,000 lbs of moving weight, 2,000 pounds more that the original estimated weight. Suddenly the price jumped to $10,700 and Two Men and a Truck turned into Three Men and Two Trucks. The estimator justified this price increase by the addition of another man as well as another truck. I let them know that my budget would not allow for this price and asked if I had any additional options. They then worked with me to get the price down to $9700 by dropping the use of one truck as we were estimated to overflow into a second truck by 20%. She suggested that anything that wouldnt fit onto the first truck would just have to be left behind. This seems like one heck of sacrifice for saving only $1,000. I hesitantly agreed because by this point we were too far into this to get estimates from other companies. I was then ready to submit the down payment of 50% and just to be sure I asked if this still included them packing the boxes as I no longer saw this on the new estimate. I was then told this only included them moving the boxes and a seperate estimate had to be provided for them packing the boxes. She said this packing estimate was provided separately but this was never the case. She apologized for this and then sent the estimate for the men packing the boxes as well. This was estimated to be $1500-$2000 additional to the $9700. I let her know that we would just pack the boxes ourselves and I continued to coordinate with her for our move. She then never responded back. We ended up wasting weeks of our time with Two Men and a Truck. I could not be any more disappointed and I feel so taken advantage of. I was very professional in my communication with this company I was still willing to work with them after all of that. I truly hope this experience is better for anyone else that chooses to use their services.Update: I did finally get a response back and she apologized that she was out of the office for several days but that she gave our days away. I didnt think it could get any worse but...mind blown.

I’m horrible with names and can’t remember the other two gentlemen that assisted him. Overall we were very pleased with the service they provided. However, we did have to repeat ourselves a couple of times to one of the workers to not push furniture across our newly installed hard wood floors. No damage was done….thankfully…..think he just needs to be retrained. We would use them again in the future.

I absolutely would use this moving company again they were on time, and did as instructed. I was really worried about how much my move would cost me but the office staff gave me some money saving tips that helped me reduce my cost. What an awesome experience we had with Two Men and a Truck to move our 86 year old mom to her new home. From our 1st phone call to follow ups. I just got married but got to deployed for a small mission when my new wife was due to move all of our stuff together into a new house. She hired 2 men and a truck. One of the guys name was Adrian because my wife gave him a painting that had the artist name as Adrian down in the corner. Thats the only name I remember and I wish I could remember the rest. Anyway, I got back into town just as they were finishing putting all they stuff in the new house and everything was a mess. I looked through some boxes and found my M9 pistol just to make sure it was still there. It was inside a black leather US holster. I put it up on the top shelf of a bookcase amid all the chaos.After Adrian and his friends left, I noticed that the pistol was missing. I called the their office to complain but I couldnt be sure that it was really gone because there were boxes everywhere and I may have just misplaced it. I thought about chasing those guys down and confronting them about the weapon but, now that I was unarmed and they were possibly armed, I decided not to. I told their management that I would look through the house and try to find it and would call them either way.I looked and looked but I never found my weapon. I know they took it. I dont know which guy took it, but one of the guys in the truck did it. I called the company back and they acted like I was crazy and never bothered to help me or question their employees about it as far as know. I filed a police report for the weapon but, if youre reading this in Fayetteville, NC, know that there is an extra hand gun floating around for whatever scumbag that ended up with it.I would strongly recommend that you do not use this service but if you do, make sure you keep good positive ID on where your valuables are at all times.

The last time I moved I saw them (not these 2 but 2men) during a very, very tough time and they were so kind that I was determined to use them again. I was right! I gave this company a 1 start because they quoted me an outrageous amount to move me from a one bed apt on the first floor to another one bed apt also on the first floor. The quote I received over the phone was different than what I received in writing Sinai canceled and I ended up using om of their competitors who charged me exactly what was quoted and no hidden fees involved. They also sent 4 moving men instead of two. Always call around and get more than one quote before paying sky high prices.

Ive used two men and a truck before and was highly satisfied. However, this time I had my large full length mirror jewelry box go missing. I was using a POD from a different company which the door was directly facing the garage. Within the POD the mirror and its stand still intact together removed from the POD which I personally saw with my own eyes and physically touched. Later that day the only part of this jewelry box that made it into the house was the stand, meaning they had to take the jewelry box apart to leave the stand. When I contacted the front office they completed a search and only tracked the GPS of the truck and monitored from the location with video cameras. I understand this has turned into the customers word against their employees, however this is highly unprofessional and makes me wonder how they hire their employees. Like I have said in the past Ive been very satisfied, but with this incident I will not be using Two men and a truck again.

I enlisted Two Men and a Truck to move our household goods from NC to SC about 2 1/2 hours drive. I dealt with Robin Sales Manger. She arrived on time at my house to do a walk through and provide an estimate. Which I felt was very reasonable. I received an email the day before the actual move to confirm. The movers arrived within the window scheduled, introduced themselves, and did a walk through of the house to see exactly what was being moved. The furniture was wrapped and covered very well. The two men worked tirelessly to load the truck . I was provided a cell number to stay in contract during the drive. At our new home, the two men worked very hard to unload the truck. Of course it was raining very hard. The furniture was wrapped so well, there was no issue. My experience was excellent and I would recommend the Fayetteville Two Men and a Truck

They went above and beyond for me, which allowed my stress of moving, to not be as bad. The office staff was helpful in getting me prepared for my move, with boxes and supplies. Excellent service by very kind and courteous people from my initial call through the end of a 9 hour move. Moving day was the least stressful part of our home interior renovations. Charles, Jason and Roman were awesome! Even though Roman was somewhat new, Charles did an excellent job of talking Roman rhrough moving difficult items. Also, the company was able to change my move date with 2 days notice.

Weve used two men and a truck for a few moves around Ft.Bragg. Its been an absolutely great experience each move. The ladies in the office are very nice to speak to and make it easy to schedule moves. The team leader we have been lucky enough to have the last two moves is awesome. There is no wasting time or milking the clock (which sadly has been the experience with other moving companies). The initial fee they charge all works out to be competitive (if not better) than other companies in the area. Today Josh, Johnny, and Brian moved our household. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Every piece was wrapped and great care was taken. They worked diligently and finished in an expected time. All members were very patient in the placement of our furniture. I used two men and a truck to move my belonging from my home to a storage unit until I found a home. I later used two men and a truck to move my belonging from my storage unit to my new home. I was the only one with a key to the unit and the only who knew the access code to the storage area. I had a five gallon bank full of coin that just disappeared. No one seems to know happened to it. I would not use this company again because I don’t trust them. After a investigation the police said they were not responsible. My question is then who? I want it to be known it was the two men in a truck in Fayetteville, NC

UPDATE: After receiving a reply on my review (see below) I called Two Men and a Truck. I was told that the manager was out of the office and I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to. The guy I talked to listened and was kind and apologetic. He told me it was our landlord (you know, the one who was in a different state at the time) who had said that it was not them who damaged the pool table, so thats on her, not Two Men. He also said they would look into reimbursing us something for damages and call me back. I left this interaction feeling much better about things.Unfortunately, I never heard anything back. My husband and I called back multiple times to try to follow up as well as to report some of our items that were damaged in our move and seek reimbursement but they were obviously screening our calls at this point.Seeing how we hadnt been reimbursed for any of the move damage and Two Men never returned our phone calls, we decided to dispute some of the payment with our credit card company. Two Men countered by saying Remember that contract you signed? Yeah, in the fine print it says that all damages have to be reported within 36 hours of your move. When stuff was still packed.I feel like we tried to be really reasonable and work things out and didnt take any extreme steps until they refused to work with us in a reasonable way. I have not ONCE talked to the manager despite calling and asking for him probably a dozen times.To top it all off, after the movers left we found they had dropped off a brief case that was not ours along with all of our stuff. We opened it up and found it to be full of sensitive information belonging to a doctor-- patient information, copies of his passport, etc. We were alarmed and tried to contact Two Men about it but... you guessed it, they never called back. I find this to be extremely concerning.ORIGINAL REVIEW:There was a serious disconnect between the office staff and the actual movers. I worked with Kristina and she was really helpful and gave us a great estimate. I chose Two Men and a Truck for both packing and moving services based on that and the fact that I wanted to support a local company. Unfortunately, the actual experience was pretty disappointing. First off, the movers and packers showed up late every. single. time. They were supposed to show up between 8 & 9 to pack, at 9:30 I called the office and they had no idea where they were. Turns out they hadnt even left the way station yet. On moving day it was the exact same thing. We had been told our whole move would be done in one day, but after arriving late the movers said they would deliver our stuff the next day at 9 am. They showed up at 10:15 the next day. It really threw off our plans-- we had a move-out cleaner lined up and various other plans around what we were led to expect, and it was extremely inconvenient.We also had some problems with the treatment of our possessions. One of our three packers was great and the items in the areas he packed were carefully wrapped and packed. In the areas the others did things were just thrown willy-nilly into boxes. We had bent books and liquids spilled all over boxes. We paid for wardrobe boxes, but in most cases they were not actually used to hang things up-- the packers just threw stuff in. I found my wedding dress and my grandmothers antique plates (thankfully unbroken!) crumpled up in the bottom of one of the wardrobe boxes!Also, during the move-out our movers damaged our landlords billiard table. She chewed me out and took our deposit over it, and then Two Men and a Truck told her it wasnt them, it was our carpet cleaners. I called Two Men about it and left a message for the manager before the carpet cleaners even showed up, so that definitely was not the case. I have since called the manager about it multiple times and he has never returned my calls.Anyway, Im giving three stars because they got our stuff from point A to point B without losing or damaging most of it and for a reasonable price, but I would not hire them again.

I dont mean to go overboard about this but they loaded up my furniture in an amazingly short time and with a lot of compassion. They asked me questions about specific pieces and I answered and they were very careful. They were also two people who paid attention to the other one making sure that they didnt lift too much and that they each had water and took care of themselves which is truly a team effort. I like the price, the customer service was very good and they calmed me down because I was a little anxious, very anxious! This is the second time Ive used Two Men and a Truck and I will do it again. Thank you

From sales to delivery- everyone and everything went well.The ownership should take great pride with their staff - especially Jason and Marcus. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with this company’s service. From the quoting process to final delivery - everything ran smoothly and everyone was professional and courteous. Communication was excellent from start to finish - and even a follow up call afterward to confirm all went well. A special thank you to Charles G., Dillon and Robin K. I thought this move would be a nightmare, but these three went above and beyond and everything went off without a hitch. Oh, and the moving costs were competitive. I highly recommend this company.
