I had a 10am reservation set a week in advance. I drove 30 minutes to this location to find out that the office manager is not working. I was hung up on by the corporate customer service representative when I asked why they don’t provide a courtesy call. While waiting, I found several other units for a much better price at extra space storage who I’ve rented with before. Extra space storage was able to take a quick call and get me in within a half hour!! Public storage is a joke and needs to seriously work on customer service. Maybe it’s just this location but the corporate team also needs to improve.

My appointment was for 4PM. I was met at the door on time by a pleasant, helpful employee who was decked out in a mask as required for both of our protection. I told her I was hearing impaired and dealt with it by reading lips. Given the mask made this impossible, Aaliyah had to repeat herself often until I understood what was required of me.. Throughout the sign in process she took her time and maintained her composure while explaining the choices i had to make. Your firm is lucky to have Aaliyah as an initial intake person representing your firm.

I have been working with Donna, who is in the office of the facility, to arrange a move for my storage goods. As I live out of state, this has been a little complicated. Donna, however, has been so extremely helpful that everything is going smoothly. I have been using the storage unit for the past three years. Whenever Ive checked, Ive been pleased that everything is fine. Yes, I give this the highest rating and thank you for having such great staff.

I arrived at the facility 20 min before closing and no one was around but there was a grey vehicle there so i waited to see if they would make an appearance. 2 minutes before closing time but no one showed. As i peered into the window hoping to find someone i noticed someones monthly payment check sitting on the desk about a foot from the window. Could have easily had all their banking info in a matter of seconds. Facility looked clean though. Hopefully this isnt a common practice but i think ill keep my banking info to myself on this one.

Hey, Donna is a Doll she is very helpful,friendly and patient and also knows her stuff!! She will give you every option there is for you.She never sound like a sales woman trying to sell you a pitch.I love working with her and will definently return to that location if I need a unit in the future. Shes a great representative for her company -- shes kind, friendly, helpful, alert to whats going on all around the property, and she and the staff keep the property neat and clean. Donna is always thinking of how to help her clients make the right decision, for there best interest. That is while having fun doing it, always with a smile and laughter which is pretty unique today. The first time I was there she was helping a young couple figure out how to pay there bill, they didnt have much on the ball. She got them taken care in a nice friendly way. Nice Person Donna is.

Fast to set up and begin using. I just felt like buying the mandatory insurance was a surprise and I was given one choice and no ability to proceed unless I used what they had available. This price and requirement should be disclosed in the pricing prior to showing up and signing the rental agreement.

Donna is an excellent communicator. She always provides clear, accurate and thorough information every time I need questions answered regarding my storage unit. Since the day I began renting my unit, she has been consitently pleasant, kind and eager to offer the best service she can. Ive had nothing short of the best experience with Public Storage because of Donnas willingness to give the customers she deals with A-1 service. GO DONNA. Wish there were more people providing service the way you do!

I went to this Public Storage at around 1pm on a Saturday when I was taking the weekend to move residences. When I arrived at the unit, I was able to get through the gate, but then the door to have access to the until was locked. I went to the office and no one was there. I ended up having to bring all of my things to my parents home and unload everything there because I had to be out of my old place of residence by the end of the weekend. This was on a day that was -25 degrees outside with the windchill. When I called a couple of hours later the lady said that the door was locked because she was not on site due to taking a lunch break. She did not apologize, but rather said Usually we leave a sign on the door. I drove all the way from Brooklyn Park to Hopkins for nothing and then had to leave all of my things in Eden Prairie where I will now have to reload everything into my car and take multiple trips to the storage space to drop everything off there. Also, when I went to Public Storage the week before to get my unit set up, the lady tried to convince me to get a larger unit. The one I have is already way bigger than what I need.Update since the review above: I went into my strage space last weekend and someone had slid condoms under the door and into my unit. I kicked them out of the unit and told a worker about it. She apologized and was nice about it. Then, when I went there the next day to remove more items, the condoms were still outside of my storage space door. I will be closing my account tomorrow. This place has the worst costumer service.

Not the fanciest place but definitely secure and some of the best customer care Ive encountered. I rented a unit to house my Audi A4 while I traveled and it was just as I left it. Easy to close out the unit as well.
