Do not go with this loving company! Very un professional. They will damage ur property and when your call and try to reach out to them they dont return any phone calls! Their movers broke a outdoor light on the house I cant find a matching light to match the others and not to mention its going to cost an electrician $300-$400 to come out! Not toMention I need to buy 3 new lights that all match! Also the movers are very shady my bill was only supposed to be $500 and they changed it to $580 for a tip I never approved!!! Dont waste your money! Save yourself the headache and dont bother with this company. A guy named chad was supposed to callMe back for weeks not and I have heard nothing!!! The movers said they are responsible and they would take care of it. Im gonna have to take them to court.

We moved from a 4 story apartment with out an elevator to a second story building without an elevator. We were worried it would take all day but three professional young men got everything done within 3- 4 hours. We were impressed with the hard work and professionalism they brought to the job. They were very kind and accommodating with the task at hand. When I set the appointment with Angel she was very easy to work with and I was appreciative of her knowledge and professionalism. I would like to give kudos to all and a huge thanks!

We had 4 men and 2 trucks for our move. We have a LOT of stuff plus a piano. The guys hustled, took care of our things, and were polite and personable too. It was a great team to work with.

We used service out of Hopkins, MN. When scheduling the move things went smoothly & Two Men & a truck was aware of every item that to be moved. Movers were on time & polite; however, they were not careful moving things out nor moving into the new house. The treadmill they were not able to move to room asked & now sits in basement; along with the piano. The piano is now in our main level office & the movers didn’t carry piano, they rolled it & because of piano’s weight, they left permanent track marks on floors. They also scratched & gouged the hardwood in other places. The floors were finished on Tuesday thus, floors were pristine prior. In addition, the walls were left dinged up & even missing some chunks; dirty handprints everywhere. My armoire, also, was deeply scratched across the entire front top by something white & it’s very noticeable. My fiancé & I had to stop watching the movers move our things because we were dreading to see what they’d hit next. It seemed like no matter what was being moved, it was causing some sort of damage. Very Disappointed, I spent 1150 for movers & expected enough experienced help to justify the price. Now the move will be additional 500.00 at minimum to have floors/walls repaired. Some can’t be repaired, like the track marks from moving the piano. Also, I will need to hire a piano mover (2 men said they could move the piano, but movers didn’t seem confident in being able to move it & clearly were not).My previous experience with moving companies has been very different. Movers were careful, had a system, & worked efficiently. We fully understand & accept that accidents can happen & could roll with a few scratches - but honestly, I think we could have grabbed two high school boys, paid them 150/each & rented a Uhaul for a few hours. It would have saved us a lot of money & allowed a budget to fix any moving mishaps. We usually don’t leave a reviews when dissatisfied with a service but this cost us 1150 plus tip & felt really let down.I’ve sent 2 emails to follow up & no one has responded.No follow up. Besides the 1150.00 I paid two men I am paying another company 300.00 to come finish the job and move the piano.I’m still in shock that I paid so much for really poor service.

I used them to move a piano from Hopkins to Minneapolis. The crew was on time and not only professional and friendly, but I was able to witness the lead mover training in a newer mover on proper technique for moving such a heavy item and up a very steep and narrow staircase. He was patient and kind. So impressed! Will for sure use them again! Came in at the bid amount for a really tough job.

The communication process leading up to our move and staff along the way were wonderful to work with. We had a big move from MN to TX and estimated how much was coming duirng the bid, which wasnt exact since I sold some items - we ended up with a very very full truck and had to leave some things behind which caused a grat deal of logistics for me - which I was bummed about. However, nothing was damaged and the crew met the timelines they committed to! With a 20+ hour drive for them, I was pleased and would use them again.

What an awesome team of young men (Chris, Justin, Daniel, and Matt) that loaded our truck at our old home; stored our goods on the trucks overnight and delivered to our Condo the next day. They were polite, respectful of our goods, assembled the beds and moved furniture pieces a couple times to find the right spot. Despite it being winter, they took extra care to cover the carpet in the common parts of our condo building as well inside our condo ;who Che had light-colored carpet). They were so good that I specifically requested the same team both days of the move. I appreciated their level of accountability for showing me a piece of a shelving unit that had broken (and could easily be glued) and a knob on a drawer that had broken. I would highly recommend this moving team that came from the Hopkins franchise. I had an issue with something that came up with the office staff and it was dealt with quickly and appropriately. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck and would certainly use them again if we should ever need a moving service again!!

2 Men and a Truck showed up on time (can you believe that?)!! They were friendly and packed the furniture in the truck as expected. The guys delivered the furniture in great shape and were careful when moving it to the new location. I give them 5 Stars and would highly recommend them for your move.

I used Two Men and a Truck Hopkins on a couple other occasions with no issues. Similar to another recent review, the movers broke multiple items, several of which I didnt notice until after the move. They were moving a one-bedroom unit, so not that much furniture. Overall, a bookcase was broken, a floor lamp was broken, three METAL chairs were extremely dented/unusable (not sure how rough you could possibly be to ruin metal chairs), and a TV stand attached to a TV was completely snapped and unusable.I paid $950 for this move, and I will not use Two Men and a Truck Hopkins again, and I will be sure to tell my friends to avoid them as well.

We used their services out of Hopkins MN to move my sister from Minnesota to Wisconsin. They were on time, extremely careful with everything, professional, experienced, very detail oriented, polite (respectful) and reassured us the move would go smoothly and it did. My experience with Two Men and a Truck was great from the beginning. The office employee who helped me set up my move date was helpful, friendly, and responsive.We were given a 3 hour arrival window for our moving team, and an hour before the window, an office employee called to let us know the team would be arriving about an hour into that window. I appreciated the update so we werent waiting on their arrival at the beginning of the window.Our moving team was professional, friendly, and efficient. They treated our items well and even moved a couch that wed been storing in our new garage because we couldnt fit it through the door ourselves.I would use them again for sure!

Moving is a very stressful time and I cannot say how much the office people and especially movers made the actual move a great experience. Chad, Ciera and Del in the office were responsive to all of our needs and set up all the logistics. The moving crew consisted of 6 guys in which 5 were the same on both days. They worked really hard and were very careful with all of our stuff...and we have a lot of stuff!They helped us take apart furniture that was too big to get through the doors and made sure none of the walls were damaged. Besides that, they were all nice guys and as we chatted all day you realized they liked their job. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck to my network.

BEWARE! My wife and I just finished a move in Minneapolis and had a horrible experience. We thought the shattered mirror and damaged dining room table was the worst of it but as we began unpacking, we realized we’re missing our electronics box; containing our wireless speakers, gaming console and other vehicle electronics. I left a message with the company on Saturday, followed up again today and received no communication back. We had three guys conduct the move out of our apartment into our new home but only two guys continued to move boxes out of the apartment and into the moving truck. This box was one of the very first boxes I watched them pick up and carry out of the apartment so I know with certainty the box was in their possession. The driver, Jairus, stayed down with the truck 95% of the time, which I found interesting. Would have been extremely easy for them to have a friend drive by and take the box so I highly recommend having multiple people with you during your move so you can watch where your stuff is going. We will absolutely be continuing to follow up on this and purse this as far as we need to considering the box that’s missing had roughly $1500 worth of valuables inside. On top of that, it ended up being a $1200 move and we gave each of the guys a $50 tip even with the damaged items. A missing package/box is completely unacceptable.

The movers worked hard and were nice. They broke a lamp in the hall (which happens) but forgot to empty out my storage locker so I had to move a lot on my own.The business practice of starting the clock on the call was not discussed with me nor does it make any sense to me. It’s completely arbitrary and added a lot of extra time to my move.I have use a lot of movers over the years and this was by far the most expensive.

Find another mover! I hired these guys to move some equipment. 1) Arrived 30 min late 2) they argued with each other the fact they had to move the equipment 3) caught them braking the equipment by throwing it into the truck and did not tell me..I saw them do it and became confrontational when I asked them about it. 4) backed into my building and damaged the door 5) they called their supervisor and then argued with the supervisor they had to do the move right in front of me. 6) Supervisor then tried to get me to sign a document stating they were not responsible for any damage. 7) Two Men and a Truck has not fixed the damage and now sent me to collections 8) I call collections and when I mention the damage to the door they hang up on me. Like I said...Find another mover!5/31/19 - Updated Review - I ended up paying, In Full, for the move because they stated they would not do any repairs until the move is paid for in full. 4 guys showed up. They worked very hard on my huge load and they did it with enthusiasm and smiles. They made sure I was happy with where they put things and answered all my questions. The job went long but there was not one complaint. Excellent service!

My movers showed up an hour and half early. Both movers were polite and professional. I was moving out of a 3rd floor apartment. They were incredibly efficient and were very fast. They handled all of my stuff with care and wrapped everything appropriately. Nothing was damaged. I loved that they have a mid check list asking you how everything is going so far before you move to the drop off location. We ended up finishing about two and a half hours earlier then I anticipated. My final invoice/cost was right on the button with what I was quoted from HQ.All around... I cant recommend this company enough and will be using this service in the future.

I have never used Two Men and a Trucks services before but someone moving out of my building did and when they came and parked the truck they managed to kill both of the trees outside our building. The driver of the truck just drove straight into the branches and cracked them off, the trees were both very visible and avoidable, terribly inconsiderate

Chris, Andre, and the third member of the team on 9/18/17 did a fast and thorough job getting our thing out of our old house and into the new house. Three men showed up on time to handle our move – Dimitri, Matt and Robb. They carefully prepared our home for the move (laid out drop clothes, protective sheets, etc.) and proceeded to carefully wrap all the items we had scheduled them to move.Throughout the experience they were professional and friendly and did an excellent job. Great guys, helpful, friendly, and very hard working! These guys took great care of my things packing and unpacking, no short cuts even after they already worked all morning moving someone else in the rain.Then they moved me in the afternoon and later sent one more great helper so they could finish before dark! My only regret is that I wished I had food in the house to offer them. I will ask for these same guys on my next move, you bet.

Several years ago I used two men and a truck and was really impressed. I was shocked and upset after the experience I had.In summary, the Hopkins location is a franchise and not held accountable to the corporate Two Men and a Truck. The estimate was 4 hours, the move took 8 hours with a fully packed apartment, the movers were slow, and the company is unresponsive.The facts:- The in-house estimate for 1-bedroom apartment to another 1-bedroom apartment ~16 miles way was estimated 4 hours total (~1500). The estimate quote included a total of four hours: 3 hours for the move, 1 hour for packing with supplies, on a weekend rate. The company would provide packing supplies and only charge what was used. There was a dedicated elevator for loading.- The move took 7.25 hours and they did not show up with any packing supplies and did not pack for an hour. In efforts to hook me up they took some time off so it took longer than 7.25 hours to move a 1br apt.- When asked to clean out a storage shed, they left items and did not tell me when we left the site. The leasing office notified me the following day that the storage shed still had items. I also found out they did not use packing supplies I provided, i.e. mattress protector.- During the move, the movers mentioned the afternoon job they had was canceled. When I asked for the guys to hurry up (hour 3 of loading), the lead guy stated We can move faster but we want to ensure your stuff doesnt break and now that the job is canceled we have time. This was said in an awkward insinuating tone.- The move was in early January. Frustrated with the actual cost and the estimate, everyday after the move for a week I called the office and left a message. Its february and I still havent heard back from the company. I made a separate call to the corporate office and they said that its a franchise, there is nothing they can do.Good luck in your move. I hope you dont have this experience. Im never using or recommending two men and a truck again.

My Two Men were AWESOME! Josh and Brian did such an amazing job. They called right at 8am to let me know they were on their way. They did a brief but thorough walk-through initially upon arrival. They moved my furniture as if they were more than two men! Moving from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment, I was worried that not all furniture would fit in the elevator...these guys made it happen. And in under the two-hour minimum! I was just moving within the same city, but still, it was incredible. I would definitely recommend their service and would use them again in the future.

My movers are great. Very polite and hardworking. It was pouring rain the day we moved and the 2 guys move through the rain and finished within the window frame. The company even sent out a manager to check on us during the move.1 star less is because the sales people are really hard to reach. Also, I booked 3 men but there were only 2 showing up without a clear explanation.Overall, the move went smoothly and Im happy with my movers.

I had to reschedule my move last minute and the coordinators were understanding, courteous, and quick to find a different time that worked with their schedule and mine. If I could give zero stars with customer service I would. Overall the movers were prompt and courteous but there were a few mistakes that they said they would take care of. I was told that they would call me to handle this before I was charged. Finally in October after several attempts to reach them they charged me the full amount. In all the attempts to reach them, they returned my call once to discuss and said they would call back with a solution. I even reached out to their corporate and got only a email. This is unacceptable. It is a easily resolvable issue all they would need to do is care and respond. Also, billing me 3 months later is unacceptable.

Extremely expensive. $800 for a 1 bedroom, very short distance move. They charge you $165 an hour for their “driving time” Back to their warehouse and To your house. That’s almost $200 just to arrive and do nothing.

We used Two Men and a Truck 3 times in the last 90 days. Two of the uses were part of a remodel project in Chanhassen where we had to move things out of the house into a POD and then back in after the project was done. The other use was our son and daughter-in-laws move into their house in Minneapolis. In all three cases the teams were great. They arrived on time, covered the carpet, took great care to pack things carefully, move things carefully, not bang the walls, etc. I was very pleased in all 3 cases and would recommend them to anyone that needs movers. This last time we had Ed and Nick and were very good!! I cant recall the names of the guys we had the first time we have them move things out of our house, but they were excellent as well.

The movers attitude was great during the move! Friendly, responsible, and just overall helpful!

I would suggest that the place that takes your information on how much stuff you are moving to have someone come out to your home if they are unsure of how big of a truck to use or if more than one will be needed. We ended up hauling items our self to our new home with 5 truckloads because they didnt have enough room in their truck.

This review has been revised from yesterday.We scheduled a move for 8:00am on Friday. They never showed up. When we called to find out why we were told that the time was never confirmed by us. It was clear in the emails from them that we had confirmed a time and day. Eventually we spoke to a manager who told us the time they would arrive would be a window from 2:30-7:30. Very hard to re-plan everything around that. When we said this was unacceptable the manager offered us a $40 off the rate of $190 an hour. When the movers FINALLY showed up they were respectful and fast. This review would be one star if it wasnt for them.Moving is stressful enough without having the moving company not show up. We have the rest of our house to move after it sells and will not use Two Men and a Truck.

This company is horrible. If i could give 0 stars i would. They underpay their employees and deduct money out of their paycheck for being 5 minutes late. 10 dollars an hour for heavy labor while they over-charge their customers thousands of dollars to move their stuff. Completely unfair. Do not go through this company.

These are the worst movers Ive ever used. They put a sofa on top of a brand new dining room table damaging the finish. They refused to repair it even after being shown what the movers did. I would give them -5 stars if I could.

The Two Men and a Truck (TMAT) 3-man crew completed the move with care, start to finish. They arrived at the scheduled time, individually introduced themselves, and completed the job in an organized and professional way. When they arrived, the crew chief, Ed, explained their loading process to us and answered our questions. He effectively managed his crew (Chris and Dave) and gave clear directions to them. He was an excellent leader. He and the crew carefully packed our furniture and other items and completed the loading process on time. When they arrived at the destination, our newly purchased home, they unloaded the truck with the same care in a timely manner.Each of the crew members was personable and engaging, and we trusted that they would complete the job in a thoughtful manner. They did. This move was our third move with TMAT. Each move has been completed in a professional manner, and we have been completely satisfied with each move by the TMAT crews. We definitely would recommend them and would hire them again!

The two guys did get my pieces moved. They were not personable in their interactions with us. They damaged my bedframe, but since it was hidden and they got out a tool box to fix it, I didnt make a claim. They didnt repair it. They knowingly​ put the rest of the bed on top of the broken frame. I had to take it completely apart to fix it.

On Monday morning Vladimir and his team with their 26 foot truck arrived at my daughter’s house in Lino Lakes.Since my daughter had to work that day, I was on site, which was really fine with me because before I retired, I was a Facilities Project Manager for Carlson Companies and travelled the US and Canada coordinating commercial office moves. I always loved working with the trades and the moving crews were always my favorites.I was not surprised when Vladimir advised my daughter that they would not be able to complete the move with one truck. He immediately contacted the office and asked to have another truck and crew for the move. It has always seemed like a magic trick with moving companies have been able to “pull a rabbit out of a hat” and make what appears to be an impossible move, possible!Within a short time Ben and his crew arrived and it got a little noisier as Ben entertained us with his great sense of humor. And, would you believe, they filled both trucks?The situation was became very stressful when the buyers informed the real estate agent that the would not release the funds until the house was completely cleaned out and all owner items removed. In years past, I would have been able to carry my share of the work, but at the age of sixty-eight with artificial knees, my contribution was limited.Vlad and Ben never blinked an eye. Everyone stepped up and swept out the huge three-car garage, cleaned up items in the back yard that had been buried under the snow and loaded my car with two cats and two fish tanks.Then the situation with the piano raised it’s ugly head. Undaunted, they man-handled the upright, which probably weighted between 600 and 800 pounds, out the door and down the steps. And at the new location, I held my breath as they carried it up another set of stairs.When we arrived at the new house, they cheerfully took direction from my nine-year-old granddaughter, Lexi, as she told them where things needed to go.They finished up by unloading four U-Haul Moving and Storage Pods which were sitting in they driveway.I cannot tell you how much I appreciated these six young men – nothing phased them, whatever I needed done, they did. You should be very proud of every one of them! I would be pleased to serve as a reference for you at any time.
