Stopped in on a late Wednesday afternoon for a tasting. Was greeted by staff who were very friendly. I decided to just do a tasting but not the tour as we were at the end of a long day. 10 tastings were just $3! I had a variety of their shine and bourbon. All were very tasty. I did a little shopping and was happy to learn that they offer a Military/Veteran discount as I am an Army Vet. Stop by for a great experience, you will not regret it!
Spent 2 nights as Harvest Host visitors here. The owners and staff were so nice even before we arrived. We were delayed by Memorial Day Traffic and they kept the store open so that we could buy a bottle to try. It was wonderful! Tour, tasting and bottled our own then a music event. Everything was enjoyable. Met some fellow Travelers from California and New Jersey. A few photos of our view below.
We stayed at the distillery in our RV with the Harvest Hosts program, AJ & Peg & the staff were all very welcoming and friendly despite us being a bit late. We enjoyed our strawberry apple Moonaritas to go and did the tour and tasting the next day. I loved hearing the history of the distillery and the family. Thanks for a great stay!
Was greeted with a smile & friendly conversation by none other than master distiller & the founders grandson! Was given some great advice on suggested choices for a gift, he’s excited to taste his whisky! I’m kicking myself for not being able to find a branded hat as my friend is a professional comedian that travels all over & loves wearing hats. I made the choice of the whiskey tour hat 😢kicking myself now, would prefer the free advertising for them! Wish I had time for a tour, but, I came late & wasn’t expecting to stop. Thank you for the pleasant visit! Will definitely make a trip in the future!
Our family is traveling the country and we were able to visit/stay through the Harvest Host program. We loved meeting the owners and learning more about their businesses. Casey Jones Distillery is definitely one of our favorites! We had a wonderful tasting and tour. They have a bar on site and you must try a Stoplight! It’s delicious. After hours we were able to continue to enjoy the grounds. We ate dinner on the back deck and watched the sunset over the pond. It was absolutely perfect and very relaxing!
We found this distillery from road signs as we exited the Interstate. Stopped in and had a tour and tasting. Excellent out of the way place. Everything good ; we bought a bottle of the bourbon labelled for a breast cancer fundraiser as breast cancer hit our family. Good variety of whiskey. They are also a Harvest Host campground. Looked like a neat opportunity. We are touring distilleries in KY, and this added another “different” experience to our menu.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Did the tour and the tasting. Had a great experience. Stayed there as they are a Harvest Host location. Had several nice level spots to choose from. Beautiful quiet location. Staff suggest several places to eat. They were great.
We had an amazing experience in our visit to this location as a member of Harvest Hosts. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We look forward to returning again in the future.
Amazing selection of fine outstanding bourbon! Super friendly people and informative tour! Highly recommend!
What an educational stop! Small batch distillery. Knowledgeable guides. Tasting of more than a dozen types of moonshine and bourbon. Breathtaking venue. Contact management for venue availability.
Spent the afternoon with family at the distillery, it was a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming! The grounds are so beautiful, and we had the pleasure of listening to a live band. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful time! 10 of us went together and all had a great time. The Moon-a-ritas were awesome and our tour guide did an amazing job. Loved it.
You get a beautiful sense of arrival driving to the distillery. Fields of snow and cows greeted us as we drove towards the distillery. It was so serene, peaceful, and surreal. When we entered, bags were prepared for us to take with brochures, a shot glass, etc. Very different from the usual tour. The distillery is only four years old. They will be having their bourbon available in November. I cant wait.Ashley was the most fun, quick, and hilarious tour guide I ever met. She was very authentic and real. She instantly made me smile and laugh. It was our first bourbon and moonshine tour. I loved the Peachmoonarita moonshine the most. Apple and Heaven were my second favorites. Cant wait to bring my friends here.
The staff is so welcoming. The property is beautiful and so well maintained. It is a great escape!
I have visited Casey Jones several times before the Pandemic with my MOAA...Military Officers Association of America. Casey Jones is always a special time for our Meetings. The Host and the entire Crew is very Hospitable and Kind start to finish. I recommend this Venue to any Group for their Meeting place.
Patty gave us our tasting and she was very knowledgeable. Big selection!
I saw their sign while driving by, and am glad I did; This is definitely one of my favorite Bourbon Trail stops! A family run craft distillery with a full tour, covering everything from the history in the moonshining days to the current bottling set up, so you can learn a lot and get to know the folks behind it.Everybody there is super nice - I got a chance to hang out with the owner/master distiller and to try shine straight off the still. The liquor is also well worth the stop. I particularly recommend the Total Eclipse moonshine, which is complex and interesting. They have a bar if youre in to wine or beer, and a neat space for weddings or parties. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.
Great tour. Even better tasting afterwards.
We had the pleasure of spending the night on the grounds through our Harvest Hosts membership. One of our favorite stays so far! The grounds are spectacular, the staff and owners treat you like family! And we really enjoyed the moonshine! My fav was the barrel cut. Cant wait to stop back through next year to try the bourbon! 😉. Thanks for the hospitality!
Super great place to come get a drink and hang out. We did the tour and tasting. It was worth every penny! I just wish we had gotten there earlier in the day so we could have hung out more.
Had a great time at the Lights Out event. Even the rain didnt dampen our spirits!
Absolutely loved it. Cute little place nice people and good moonshine and bourbon. The people who work there are really nice and property is awesome. Im gonna fish that pond here soon
While the location and history here are worth the trip alone, this distillery -doubling as a bar/venue and store - also offers tastings and a quick tour for those with thirsty palates and minds.Ive heard its part of some larger tour in Kentucky, but Ive been through twice and only stopped here.Go on and try yourself - take the detour; the moonshines OR barrel cut bourbons are sure to show you theyre the best.
Very small batch and can try moonshine straight off the still. Beautiful location.
Stayed overnight in our camper through Harvest Host. Great place. Beautiful and peaceful. Great staff.
Great place. Was buying for someone else. The ladies were very helpful. Was very excited to purchase the first bottle of a new bourbon. Signed and numbered 1. Thank you.
COME ON DOWN YALL!!!The tour was very educational, we had alot of fun and they allowed our children to come along for the tour which was amazing. The staff here were very nice! The Moonshine and Bourbon are very much adequate and top notch! I would definitely recommend going here and buying you a BOTTLE OR THREE!!!
Always a pleasure to visit and share in a libation on the porch of distillery. A good way to start or end your week.

Excellent distellery, good tour, very nice and knowledgeable staff. Great drinks!
Great place, Caitlin was a wonderful host. Definitely would go again
What an awesome place to visit! My boyfriend and I visited the distillery yesterday and had a fun time. The tasting was given by an employee named Joy who was very knowledgeable about the story and history of Casey Jones. She made us feel very comfortable and we laughed a lot. The tour was fun and the bar was also open so you could have a drink while taking the tour. The gift shop is full of great stuff. I would definitely recommend stopping by this great place!
I was surprised just how good moonshine can be when made by a Master Distiller. Beautiful grounds, friendly folks and tasty spirits.
We enjoyed our visit. They were very nice and informative.
This was such a cool experience! The staff was so accommodating and knowledgeable. The Moonaritias are a must try!
What an amazing experience! This place is great and the people are awesome. This is a must stop!

If you get a chance this place is awesome! True small batch bourbon and moonshine. The staff is amazing, thank you Cailee for an amazing tour and Happy Birthday. We will definitely be back to this beautiful spot and a fan of this distillery that is so full of family history.
We stopped in on our way back home to NW Indiana and was greeted by a lady who asked if I we were there for a tour, I told her I just wanted to buy a couple bottles but would like to sample before I bought, she took me inside and told me the lady inside would take care of me. She was taking care of a rather talkative man while I waited, no big deal. I waited about 10 minutes, then the greeter bright in another couple who was going to take the your, Mary was still getting her was talked off (again, not her fault) and the couple went looking around. The two ladys that worked there were deciding who was going to start the tour and take care of guests. The whole time Im waiting by the samples while my wife and son were looking at other products (a good selection of stuff I might add). At this point its been 15-20 minutes and one of the ladys started helping the other couple who came in later than us. I have still yet to even be acknowledged. So I asked my wife if she just wanted to leave, one of the ladys looked at me, but didnt say a word, my wife asked if I was sure I didnt want to wait anymore, still nothing from the staff, so we left. Nothing, no attempt to try and save a sale by saying anything like Im sorry, well be right with you or anything. When we reached the highway and had cell phone service again I called and spoke to a man who was very apologetic and nice who tried making it up to me, but at this point we were already back on the road.Im pretty disappointed because it seemed like a cool place with lots of swag that I wouldve put up in my lounge along with spirits I wouldve put on my shelf and most likely enjoyed. Now Ill never find out. This would be 1 star if it wasnt for the man on the phone.
Great place to stop for a tour. Got to taste all of their whiskey with the tour.
Fantastic staff. Tour was very fun and informational. Tasting was awesome. Highly recommend.
Such a great place to learn a little history. Great friendly people. Looking forward to going back!
Great staff, great moonshine, and even better bourbon!
Me and my family had a wonderful time at Casey Jones, beautiful scenery! Our tour guide Cailee was very knowledgeable and friendly her jokes were also very much appreciated. Made it more fun and interesting. Would recommend!
